Smog checks and inspections. We are a STAR station, certified in California to perform smog inspections on all vehicles. Our station is large enough to accommodate RVs and motorhomes and heavy duty vehicles. We specialize in providing smiles and friendly service.

It was my first time using this place and I have to say I am 110% satisfied with the service. The gentleman running the shop was very friendly and quick. The bonus was he was open on Memorial Day. Made things so much easier for me. Thank you for your fast and friendly service!

I called this place and I spoke with Allen he was professional and really gave me a good price in the smog test and certifcation for my car (Chula Vista price around $ 50 – 75) I got here for around $ 50. I was in and out within 15 min. The location is tucked inside the auto repair shop but it was easy to find as long you pass the parking lot. I will use this place again in the future.

Very friendly Vietnamese guy. Was in and out about 15 minutes. Don’t get discouraged about the way his shop looks. The surrounding area too looks kinda ghetto but don’t judge a book by its cover. All you should care about is good customer service and work performance. I’ll be coming back to him in two years. Hopefully he wont move by then.

Open on Sunday! I needed a smog on a rainy Sunday morning, from the other Unilocal reviews, I gave it a shot. I arrived at about 8:05am and was quickly directed in, paperwork filled out and smog done in less than 15 minutes! I couldn’t believe it! My other car was due as well, so I brought it in on a Friday afternoon… same result… done in 15 minutes! The shop is clean and by watching him, you can tell he is very thorough. I watched him methodically inspect my car and go through all the tests, its really a work of art to see someone that knows exactly what they’re doing work so quickly and efficiently. Everyone hates doing smog, but this will be my go-​to spot whenever its time to do it all over again.

On a Sunday afternoon between football games is alot to ask for. The owner was friendly, fast and efficient. I will definitely recommend them and use them again. The entrance is on K avenue just in case your GPS brings you to broadway. I got there at 205 pm and was half way home at 225 pm

So the 40 bucks quoted on the phone didn’t include the 8 dollar certificate fee and the $ 5 off check in offer wasn’t honored because it was Sunday and he said he quoted me less because he wasn’t busy. All which left me paying a solid ten bucks more than expected.
BUT, that was the fastest smog test of my life. I was in and out in ten minutes and the guy was super nice. I suppose ten bucks was worth not repeating the two hours sitting outside a gas station that has been my reality in the past so I would still return here though I know I could get a better deal (i have a coupon from another place that would total ten bucks less altogether… but yeah… not open on Sundays and probably wouldn’t be done so fast. So still gotta give the guy credit for my easiest smog check ever even if it wasn’t my cheapest.)

I called the owner and asked for a smog check. 10 minutes after I arrived, I was down the road with my certificate. The price seemed reasonable and he was extremely friendly. This place was recommended by another auto shop and I’ve been going here ever since.

I called before I went to this place and spoke with an Asian man. He quoted me the price for a smog test is $ 39.00 for pass and 0 (no payment) if fail. I went to his place today and after the test he charged me $ 50.00 and said that my car failed because it did not register and he told me that I have 15 – 30 days to bring the car back and he will not charge me for test again. He should have told me the right price and not charged me for more than what he quoted me on the telephone. I told the owner that the price he is charging me is wrong and higher than what the price he gave me on the telephone. He said that if I bring the car back within 15 – 30 days, he will not charged me again. The owner is nice– but have hidden cost! If you go to this place-​prepare to pay more then what he quoted on the telephone. Beware of the hidden cost!

How lucky am I to have found this place! I took my girlfriend’s car here simply because it was open on a Sunday! Which other smog shops opens on a Sunday? Well I had waited last minute to get her car smog and that Tuesday was the deadline. I knew there was no way to get this done on time with my work schedule during the week. Very fortunate to have found this place, not only did it save me from paying a late fee, the smog tech was also very informative. Definitely got things done quick with no issues. Will not hesitate to come back!

Was sent here after the shop across the street was not star certified. Came in around 8:20 and my car was tested immediately. Finished in 30 minutes. Quick and efficient service! Broken english and really high price ($ 68 for a 1986 BMW E30), but getting it done same day and quickly was worth the extra money.

After the precision motor on the other side of the street couldn’t do the job since their machine was broken (they charge $ 30) I brought it to this place. I called in advance and asked about the price and I was told $ 39.99. Before he starts he is telling me in broken English that I have to pay another $ 9 for certification!?? I was very disappointed after waiting for half an hour and decided to leave when he stopped me and said $ 40 is good. I don’t like dishonest people/​businesses. Not coming back here.

I returned back to CA and just brought my car in. The shop was clean, the technician, who I assume is the owner, was very courteous, even opened my car door for me to let me out. :)
$ 49.95 + $ 8.25 for the smog check– not bad, I guess prices have gone up in years.
I was in and out within 20 minutes, maybe even 10. I’d definitely recommend this guy, very courteous and professional.

THIS GUYS AN IDIOT.
sorry but its true.
I took my 96 civic to get smogged. I’ve came to him many times before with different cars and never had a problem.
This time I brought him my car (change of ownership) he smogged it and it came up with a code p0720 (vehicle sensor)
I asked him what it was and he just highlighted something and said NO GOOD NO GOOD. NOW GO! and continued to smog another car. I made some calls and figured out the problem and fixed it. I came back 5 days later for a free retest and he smogs it and now he fails it because «my car wouldn’t shift up» which is total b.s. it wasn’t doing that 5 days ago.
I took it to another smog place and they passed it with flying colors and laughed when I told them what he said about the transmission.
Save your money. There’s cheaper places look at the penny saver.
