Very helpful. Firstly I don’t know much about cars all I knew that my car was due for a smog check and the employees were very helpful and educating me and letting me know exactly what they were doing to my car I had a very good experience and will definitely be returning

I took my car here to get a smog check and didn’t pass on the last portion of it, took it to my mechanic and he said they should’ve passed it. I called them to ask if I can bring it in for a free retest and they said I’ll have to pay the full amount again.
There are smog check places out there that would test it and would not charge you unless you pass and some charge for almost half the price. I WILL NEVER GO HERE AGAIN! Learned my lesson.

BEST place to go for a smog check! I have a 1990 Nissan Maxima (pretty old, kinda crappy), I thought my car was NOT going to pass but it did!
BEST PRICE $$$$ Hands down. Total was $ 48.00.
All the other places I called quoted me $ 70-​$ 80

I came in on an early Saturday afternoon. There were about 3 folks ahead of me for a smog check, but it didn’t seem to take very long at all. The guys here were so pleasant and kind to all of the customers they interacted with, including me. I plan on returning in two years… and referring friends/​family in the meantime!

this is a good place to go its a test only station it got the job done. When we got there there was no wait when i drove up. The test took no more than 10 – 15 mins. We got use a $ 30 coupon off. Paid a good price for my 2000 Mazda 626. Especially cause I called around several places in Concord and the prices where way to expensive … I will recommend this place to others that I know when the need to have their cars tested.

Came here in a tiffy after waiting for over thirty minutes at another smog station then being told by the new guy he doesn’t know how to do out of state smogs. This place closed in thirty minutes and I was able to get in and get out. Best of all they had a Unilocal coupon for $ 30 off the $ 69 smog. Thank you concord smog and gas for saving the day!!!

This place was just as they said. $ 49.95 with coupon, no hidden fees, as well as quick and professional. I went to one of those places in WC with a $ 24.95 coupon last time and before I left, the guy tried railroading me for over $ 90. This place was great. I highly recommend giving them a chance. Only negative is no real nice place to wait, but I was hardly standing, they were so quick, so no worries on that.

What I found by calling around is that prices for smoging your car can vary dramatically from place to place. I have 1990 Maxima and had to go to a test only station. One place was advertising $ 30 for cars newer than 1996… so I went there expecting to pay a little more since my car was older but didn’t expect to pay more than double the price (they wanted $ 89).
So I started calling around and found Concord Smog and Gas. They normally charge $ 69.95 + state fees for Smogging all light vehicles regardless of the year. The woman I spoke to asked me if I had a coupon, I told her I didn’t. She said if I came in she could give me a $ 15 discount. I went in the next day… parking was easy, I was greated and asked what I needed when I arrived and was in and out of the place in about than 30 minutes (there was one car ahead of me). I ended up paying a total of $ 64.00 for the test. The guy performing the test was polite and professional. Overall just a good experience.
