We specialize in Masterkeying and rekeying most domestic locks. We can also turn your existing locks into Bump Proof Locks. Lock Picking is another of our specialties, don’t have a key no problem, in most cases we can pick the lock and generate a key where the key has been lost or misplaced.

Over 15 years experience in the Locksmithing Business covering Automotive, Residential and Commercial locks, including Electronic Locks and Safe Retorfitting and upgrading to Digital Locks.

History

Established in 2006.

I started this business out of the love and passion for the Locksmith Profession. This was my way of giving back to the community a service that is unique in it’s own way. The reality that there are very few minorities in this business inspired me to pursue my interest in this field of work.

In 2005 the company for whom I was working did some downsizing and I was the victim of unemployment, and I felt it was time to start my own business and Fred’s Lock Maintenance and Service was established.

In 1992 I graduated from Foley-​Belsaw School of Professional Locksmithing. Upon graduation I worked as a Locksmith Trainee where I learned all aspects of Masterkeying. I later took a job as an Out Call Service Technician for a large Locksmith Company in Southern California covering three counties. While there I had the opportunity to work on residential, commercial and automotive locks and hardware.

After learning all I could about this sector of locksmithing, I moved to the Bay Area and accepted a job as an Out Call Technician for one of the largest Locksmiths in Northern California. While being employed there I had the opportunity to learn how to service High Security Locks, how to install and troubleshoot Surveilence cameras, Security Alarms and leraned Safe Opening and retrofitting and how to install and troubleshoot Electronic Locks.

I later worked the Service Counter as well which gained me knowledge in customer relations as well as shop management.
