Hendrick Kia of Concord

Great dealership. I leased a new Sorento from them. Pleasure to work with sales. The general manager went above and beyond to help with an issue I had with the first vehicle to replace with a more suitable model. if they had a return policy they would rock, although not sure if anybody offers it. If you like a vehicle they are right people to buy/​lease from.

Before my appointment on January 30, 2016, I had at least 2 conversations with a Hendrick rep, Krista Lents. She confirmed repeatedly that Hendrick would honor the truecar price we had discussed and that Hendrick offered 0% 72 month financing. When I arrived and spoke to the salesman, Darren, he said there is no 0% 72 month and they would not honor the truecar quote. I asked why did Krista repeatedly confirm the price to me after I asked her several times if it was a gimmick. Not to mention truecar says the price is guaranteed from their dealers who participate. Hendrick would not honor the pricing or the financing even though I told them several times the rep for Hendrick told me that was the price for the exact car. Hendrick is deceptive and they do not stand by their word. I will never go to Hendrick again and everyone I know and work with is going to know as well.

I visited this dealership in September 2015 asking for help with trading my 2014 Kia Sorento SX Limited for a smaller vehicle to lower my car payments. I was immediately escalated to the Sales Manager Drew.
I knew this wasn’t going to be an easy task since I was carrying about $ 8000 worth of negative equity but I was told by Drew that he can get this done but needed time to work things out and come up with a deal. I was told to leave the dealership and I would receive a call from him with an offer. I waited… I waited… I waited… a week went by without a call so I gave the dealership a ring. I originally came in on a Saturday. I called back on a Saturday and was told that since he is a manager I won’t be able to reach him because he is very busy and the gall who answered the phone said he will call me back.
I waited… and waited… halfway into the following week with still no call I tried calling again. This time making sure I don’t attempt to reach him on a busy weekend. You know when a lowsy person calls and your parents pretend your not there or are busy. This is exactly what seemed to happen. The gal would say «just a moment» put me on hold, then say he is either not here or is in a meeting. By this time Hendricks KIA of Concorde has already pulled my credit report and caused my 790 credit score to slightly drop. I still have yet to receive a call from Drew. I never received a Voicemail or callback but did eventually get ahold of a low level sales guy thru email and texting the website after threatening to contact KIA about the poor service. The sales guy basically said what I was trying to do was not possible.
I’m very disgusted with this dealership; sales professionalism and customer service. I will not trust this dealerships sales. They have lost not only a great loyal customer but a customer that frequently buys KIA vehicles every 2 – 3 years. I pledge to make sure that everyone knows of my experience here and to prevent others from experiencing this poor and misleading sales team that is established at this dealership and is lead by Drew.

We like to let everyone there know how much we appreciate Makayla Rogers help and her desire to be as accommodating to seniors as she was, it was refreshing and appreciated. Went to look at Kia of Concord on a Friday night and left with a car! Worked with Greg Clayton and he was great! Poor thing — we looked at 10 different cars before we found one with the right features and price. He was great — not at all pushy or frustrated that we were asking questions. He showed us all of the options on the car and gave us invaluable information that helped us make our decision. We were just starting our car search, but when we drove the Sorento and saw all it had to offer (thanks to Greg), we were sold.
Dealership is gorgeous. We met the service manager and look forward to bringing our new Kia back in for routine maintenance.

I had my Kia Soul in for some warranty work. I usually hate dealership service depts but I have say I was pleasantly surprised by the experience. I feel like in most cases the inspection they do is to find more stuff to fix. When they showed me the summary I actually agreed with the results and even more surprisingly the prices for an alignment and tires were very competitive so I made an appt to get that done as well. I wasn’t crazy about the request to give them a 10 on the survey (should come from doing a good job) I would be receiving but don’t ding them too much since I know its feeds into a bonus. Overall I was very pleased.

Last week my 2012 Sorento’s engine decided to stop running. I was in a panic and didn’t know what to do I initially called Kia on Independence and the guy there did not offer much assistance. He told me to tow it there and they’ll see if they could look at it the next day.
So… I called Kia of Concord. In my first minute of talking to Carrie, she was so helpful. She told me right away that I have free roadside assistance with my vehicle being under warranty. She gave me all the info I needed to get my vehicle to the dealership. She assured me that my vehicle would get looked at that day and when my car arrived at the dealership, she called to let me know. I received a call everyday from the dealership with an update on my vehicle. They were very knowledgeable and honest about all the things that was going in with my car. They were also honest when they weren’t sure what was going on with the car.
When I went to pick up my vehicle, Carrie was there to greet me with a smile and speak to me like we weren’t strangers. She has made this experience very pleasant for me.
This has been hands down the BEST customer service I have received from any auto service ever!

I found the car i wanted online and went to look at it while the dealership was closed. I wanted to avoid the «pesky salesmen» and the pressure to buy right then. When i verified the price online was the actual selling price, we went back on a SUNDAY and purchased the Kia i wanted that same day. We were met in the parking lot, by a very personable young man named Chris. We took the car out for a test drive and i was 100% convinced that was the one i wanted. Chris was friendly, easy going and very informative. He had alot of helpful information and told us he really loved his job. It was definitely not the usual car buying experience, and i would highly recommend Hendrick to anyone looking for any car, but especially I’d recommend Chris at the Kia dealership. I’m happy, I’m comfortable with my financing and would like to give kudos to the staff, sales manager and finance manager at Kia. They were all pleasant and accomodating to me this week.

I had been searching for the right car for quite some time, when I decided to drive to Hendrick Kia of Concord. From the moment I arrived, Errol Williams was an incredible help. He listened to what I wanted and found the car I’d been searching for! I loved it the second I got behind the wheel; a couple hours later, I was driving home with not just a new car, but THE car I WANTED! It was the best experience I have had at a dealership! Will definitely be going back for future car needs!

This review is about their Service Center. They were honest, transparent, and very reasonable. Their waiting area was comfortable and quiet and from the waiting area I was able to watch my car get repaired. Having gone to many dealer locations in the past in different states for Kia service, this was easily the best experience I’ve had to date and I do plan on returning to this location in the future. I have no reservations in recommending to Unilocal or friends.
The one very minor suggestion I have was that the coupons on Unilocal and their website were all expired and could have been removed, but I’ll look again in the future.

Just awesome experience! I went there last after looking at several dealerships. I knew what I wanted and the appropriate price I would pay. Our original negotiations were not successful and I left, making the decision it may be wiser for me to keep my car another year and look again at a future time. The team from Hendrick reached out via text, and after a few exchanges, we were able to come to an agreement. I ended up with a better car at a lesser price than I would have expected had I returned to the previous dealerships. Once I returned, the process was like clock work. They are extremely organized, pleasant and efficient. I could not have asked for a better experience. I have been in sales for over 25 years and it takes a lot for me to be impressed. I normally find most transactions fall short of my expectations, you exceeded them. Thank you Hendrick, I love my new Sorento (it is my 3^rd Sorento and 4^th Kia, I am a fan). I am not only your customer, but you have also gained me as a client. I will not hesitate to refer you to everyone who ask me how I like my car, and more. Keep doing what your doing!
