We decided to extend our long weekend by an extra day so we chose the Nordic Inn for the extra night. What a find. The staff are all friendly. We arrived late but they had the room unlocked and the lights on and the night manager called from her home to make sure we had everything we needed. She offered her cell phone just in case. The continental breakfast is a nice perk. The hotel is within walking distance of the lifts. The room was nice and well appointed. We will stay here again.

The Nordic Inn is an example of great hospitality. Everyone that works there is so nice and they learn your name! It’s nice supporting a local hotel instead of a chain. Our room is huge, with a mini kitchen and breakfast is way better than the typical hotel chain continental breakfast. This hotel is conveniently located near the slopes. Thanks for being so kind to us, Nordic Inn!

Nordic Inn was a lovely place to stay. Not only was the resort walking distance to the ski lifts, but the room was well-​appointed, updated, and clean. Kim was an exceptional hostess. Prior to our coming, she called to discuss our anticipated arrival time. She had the lights and heat on in advance of our arrival and encouraged me to put our ski boots on the warmer over night so they’d be toasty in the morning. She provided useful information on the area and was interested and engaged with all of the guests. The continental breakfast included excellent, locally brewed coffee and thoughtful items, such as Emergen-​C. There is no doubt we would choose to stay at the Nordic Inn on our next trip to Crested Butte!

Great Inn with world class customer service.
My wife and I stayed here in August after hiking from Aspen through West Maroon Pass. Kim was wonderful on arrival and had fresh baked cookies (take that DoubleTree). She went out of her way to make sure we had an enjoyable stay and we appreciated it. Our room was cozy and the bed was VERY comfortable, exactly what we needed after 7 hours of hiking. The hot tub also helped out with those sore muscles. Within sight of the city bus and base of the mountain. This will be our new go-​to lodgings in Crested Butte.

My boyfriend and I stayed here with our dog just before the summer season kicked off this year. We got a great deal on the room and to be able to bring our dog with us was awesome. We did have to pay an extra fee to have her stay with us, but that is to be expected. I don’t usually expect dog-​friendly hotels to be very nice or clean, but this place is pristine. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, free continental breakfast, a nice hot tub to relax in at night. Kim (the innkeeper) was extremely friendly and accommodating. She gave us great recommendations on places to eat in town, ones that we could bring our dog with us and tie her up by us on an outside patio. She also educated us on how to use the bus system that picks up right down the street, which is free. We didn’t get a chance to use it since we had our dog, but a great option for people visiting town, as the inn is about a 5 minute drive to downtown (a bit too far to walk). Our room had wood floors which was a really nice touch — for some reason, lots of pet-​friendly hotels end up having carpeting which is just gross! All in all, we had a fantastic stay here and plan to come back as soon as time allows. We truly enjoy supporting small local businesses like this. Thanks, Kim!

Stayed here for a weekend ski trip with my boyfriend. This place is such an adorable inn! The owner was caring and tended to our needs and comfort. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the sheets and comforter was warm and soft! They have complimentary breakfast from 730 – 9, with a good selection of energizing foods to start the day off right. Nom.
The owner gave us recommendations where to rent ski equipments and places to eat around here, and let me say she definitely knows what she’s talking about (so take her advice!). My boyfriend and I also got altitude sickness (who knew this was even a thing?). We called the owner and asked her if there was any type of «remedy» to get rid of it and she told us to check out an oxygen bar located in town. She practically saved our life. Afterwards, we felt a decrease of pressure on our chest and we were out and about again later in the afternoon.
I will definitely be coming back here again for our next stay in CB! Props to the owner for being super awesome with such a cute place!

Friendly, spotlessly clean, helpful (offered their truck when our car had snow problems) newly renovated. good big continental breakfast. Nice breakfast as well. Room 218 has a Steam shower ! Nespresso in every room is a nice touch as well! This is a great place to stay. Very very close to ski hill. Marla and Kim were so great!

An unbelievably high quality inn with class, attention to detail, excellently planned out amenities, and great value. Breakfast is included. Hosts have lovely hospitality. The feel of a European quality inn with the bonus of American spaciousness and excellent plumbing! Very conveniently located to the ski lifts. A short drive to the charming town of Crested Butte. The decorations and flowers show attention to detail… fresh flowers at breakfast table? Unheard of in America. You’ll be well pleased if you like quality.

This was a fantastic find! We stayed at the Nordic Inn looking for a quiet, romantic holiday weekend. We got that, and so much more! We are huge fans of locally owned businesses. And frankly, in a ski town, a locally owned hotel is hard to find, especially one as nice as this. I was impressed with the service that I received from the moment I booked our reservations. Kim and Michael are fantastic, friendly and helpful. They will gladly give recommendations for local attractions and offer to help with dinner reservations. Kim and Michael knew every guest by name, and treated each like family. Many people come back year after year, and now we know why.
Besides the exceptional customer service, the Inn is beautiful. Recent renovations are warm, classic and inviting. By far, this hotel has the most comfortable beds and pillows! The «extras’ like the free ski storage and the boot dryer were also great. It was also nice to see that it is a pet friendly hotel. I would say that the only «complaint» that we have is that the shower was a little weak for our tastes. But that will certainly not sway our opinion that this is one of the best hotel/​inn experiences we have had, hands down!
We are looking forward to a weekend of summer adventures in the Crested Butte area, and we will most definitely book our stay with Kim and Michael at the Nordic Inn!

Can’t wait to get back to Crested Butte to stay at the Nordic Inn! I live in Denver and Nordic Inn is the ideal get away for me. I stayed in the signature King and the room was beautiful. I love the feel to it, very European chalet style. The owner and staff were extremely accommodating and the breakfast was delicious and gave me the jump start I needed to hit the slopes! The Inn is very close to the lifts as well as shops and dining for après ski! Crested Butte itself is such a fun place to visit. could not recommend this place more!

Perfect.
The Nordic Inn was exactly as advertised. The rooms were nicely appointed and extremely clean. The Manager, Michael, was great and a pleasure to deal with. The breakfast was simple and hit the spot before a day on the slopes (hard boiled eggs, cold cereal, store bought muffins and pastries, coffee, juices, etc). It is an older building so the soundproofing between rooms is lacking, but we weren’t complaining because we were the people with the 7 and 5 year old kids. You can walk to the base area in 5 – 10 minutes or catch the parking lot shuttle across the street. Overall great experience!

We really loved staying here. It was our first time visiting and it was such a memorable experience. Kim, the innkeeper, loves dogs so I instantly trusted her. Next time we hope to bring our dogs, since they are our children with fur coats. We left saying we could not wait to return, which is saying a lot since it took us 5 – 6 hrs to drive there from Fort Collins! The rooms are clean and beautifully remodeled. One of the best parts of visiting the downtown is theFREE local bus transportation. The hot tub was getting remodeled, so they arranged for us to use one nearby, which was so thoughtful!

Our family spent Christmas in Crested Butte and stayed at the Nordic Inn. I called a week prior to confirm our reservations that my husband booked, only to find out that he booked a one king bed room for the two of us and also our two teenage children. I spoke with Kim and she was so helpful and patient with me in making our room situation right. Upon arrival, she greeted me with such kindness as if we were family. Kim and Michael ensured our trip was memorable and offered great and helpful suggestions for lunch and dinner venues and even snowboarding advice for my husband. Our accommodations were perfect and it’s all because of her. The Nordic Inn is a hop, skip and a jump to the lifts and the staff treat you like family. When we go back to Crested Butte, we already know where we’ll be staying. Thank you, Kim & Michael!

A hidden gem in Crested Butte!
For starters, they allow dogs (designated rooms), which is amazing, since our dogs might as well be our children and go everywhere with us.
Kim is very knowledgeable about any outdoor activity in CB and was able to provide great recommendations for us for snowshoeing and winter hiking (we were there over Thanksgiving weekend, before the downhill skiing was great). She gave us great restaurant recommendations and we had an absolutely fabulous time on the trails and in town.
The inn is newly renovated and is so convenient to the lifts as well as the trails and close to Gothic, which give a great and easy variety of outdoor activities nearby. The main lobby has a cozy fireplace and seating area that is perfect for lounging, playing games, or watching the fire if you’re in more of a lazy mood.
We will definitely be returning (and, in fact, have booked our next 2 trips already) and are excited to spend more time at the Nordic Inn!

My boyfriend and I booked The Nordic Inn and got a great deal we saw on Travelzoo. We did not know what to expect and were VERY happy with what we got! The Nordic Inn is right a the base of Mount Crested Butte and we could walk in under 5 min to the chair lifts. The rooms seemed liked they had been recently updated with an awesome rustic vibe and extremely comfortable beds. We even enjoyed the jacuzzi they have outside after dinner. I couldn’t be happier with our choice to stay at The Nordic Inn and Kim was helpful about the area, welcoming and overall just a great person to talk to.
This isn’t only 5 stars for the Nordic Inn, it’s 5 stars for Crested Butte too! My favorite town I’ve been to in Colorado!

I got a great deal on a room for my parents last weekend, and they had an awesome experience. The Nordic Inn is really cute with a European, cozy mountain vibe. Kim is an exceptionally gracious host (as is the entire staff) and made sure my parents had a wonderful time. They loved the honeymoon suite, which felt a bit like a treehouse, and raved that the bed was super comfortable.
The Nordic Inn will definitely become a regular abode when my family is in town. Absolutely recommend it for anyone looking for a true mountain getaway experience.
