History
Established in 1949.
In 1949 Myron Jenson along with another business partner, decided to start a side business of trimming trees. They soon found that this was a service that was needed and began a full-time business. After 25 years in business and many years of training his son Edward in all he knew, Myron retired and left Ed at the helm of his business.
Jenson’s Tree Service is a family owned and operated business, in which we plan to continue serving all spectrums, from our neighborhoods to whatever the task at hand. Our goal is to serve the greater Portland Metro area with integrity, precision and care.
Meet the Business Owner
Edward J.
Business Owner
My parents moved to the west coast from Minnesota on their honeymoon. It didn’t take long after that for Myron to realize that the tree business was for him after all his dad owned a sawmill and he knew trees. Myron worked in the business for 25 years before turning over the reigns to me. I have been in the tree service industry now for over 35 years. I love my work and the artistry it takes to make a tree healthy & beautiful.
One of my greatest honors is that both of our sons are in their own businesses. The small business community is what built this country and we’re proud to say we are one of them.
I’ve been married for 36 years to my beautiful wife. I couldn’t have run this business with out her expert help in the office. We have 3 children & 9 grandchildren, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for our family in the tree service industry.
