We offer home improvement; we specialize in flooring, installation, sanding, repairs, plastering, and painting. Our flooring consists of floating floors, ceramic tiles, pre-​finished and unfinished wood planks (nailed down).

History

Established in 1980.

Fernandez Floors Inc. was established in 1980 then renamed in 2005. We launched in the Upper West Side Manhattan, and now proudly serving the tri-​state area, Long Island, and New Jersey. In 2015 we will be launching in the Sunshine State of Florida.

Fernandez Floors Inc. is a family owned company. Sergio Lopez (Rosie’s father) started the company back in 1980 in which Rosie was able to gain experience in over seeing projects and dealing with contractors. Rosie has over 18 years of experience in banking as an assistant/​manager. Rosie became sole owner in 2005 in which the company has significantly grown in equipment and employees to meet higher demands.

I am very satisfied with the installation of my new flooring. I highly recommend this company. They don’t fool around. Very happy with laminate floor installation. Rosie, the owner, was very patient and answered all of our questions via email or phone; very professional. The two young men she sent over to install the floor were very professional, charismatic, and did an amazing job overall. I would recommend her services to anyone I know. My family is loving the new floors (foyer, bedroom, and living room). Prices were more than fair. I won’t hesitate to use Fernandez Floors, Inc. again!!!

We had a very old carpet in the hallway, looked bad and ugly. We called Rosie, who came to the house to check what kind of wood, color, etc. Her staff came in few days later and did an excellent job, no more ugly carpet! looks great! we are very happy with our new floors. In others rooms of the house they cleaned, waxed and they look brand new, wonderful job. We highly recommend this experienced company, they are reliable, neat professionals which is hard to find nowadays.

Great service. I’ve used fernandez floors inc. Twice first project was installation of hardwood floor which I was very pleased. Staff was clean, neat and very professional. The owner (rosie) gave me a call to see if I was satisfied with their service. Second time i call them to paint the apt. Which looked great when they were done. I highly recommend rosie and her staff. Very reasonable price.

Love my new floors (living room and bedroom)!! They are super professional, quick and super clean! I really don’t know much about floors and had carpets. My son suffers from allergies and have no choice but to remove the carpets! Fernandez flooring was highly recommended by a friend and I couldn’t be any happier! Rozie was so nice and honest she even did a patch test on the original wood floors that were underneath the carpets to see if I could save some money by sanding and restoring it :) The original floors were slimply way too old :(The floors came out beautiful and love the color of the wood!!! And is so much easier to maintain.. I just pass the swifter and a light mop and I am done!!! Rozie thank you and your staff!!!
