History

Established in 2012.

Frederic Debackere Design recently completed a pool pavilion in Amaganasett, NY collaborated with some Hamptons Architecture firms on various projects: a farm style spec house adjacent to Pauls Ln in Bridgehampton, the retrofit and expansion of historical homes in Southampton village. Previously he was the project manager for a modern addition using solar energy, geothermal system and green roof in Wainscott, NY.

While in the process of obtaining a NY license for Architecture, he gained professional expertise at other Hamptons and NYC leading Architecture firms for high end residential and commercial projects for the past 15 years. Frederic brings a strong focus on the design and building performance. He honed his excellent technical skills along with the state/​town building code and regulations.

Frederic is eligible to pursue a NYS Architecture License as he has completed the IDP Program, as administered by the NCARB.

Business Owner

Frederic Debackere, was born in Gravelines, France and grew up in the Flemish region.

He studied first at the School of Applied Art at the age of 17 in Roubaix, France and continued to the School of Art Decoratives in Strasbourg, France with a Master degree in both Industrial and Architecture Design. In the US he studied at the Institute of Design and Construction in Brooklyn, NY
