West Coast Lighting

Our initial contact with West Coast Lighting and Cliff Souligny was almost 8 years ago, when we were remodeling our Downtown San Diego high rise condo which is over 5000 sf. It was a large project and included updating recessed lighting throughout our home and installing new lighting in a completely renovated kitchen. We have extensive art, glass and sculpture collections so correct lighting is critical both for appreciating the pieces and for design impact.
Cliff worked with our other accomplished craftsmen and our East Coast designer. The end result was stunning. Our art is beautifully illuminated. Wood and other custom finishes are bathed in warm lighting creating the overall feeling of warm sophistication. Cliff installed an early home automation system which made using different lighting scenarios simple and reproducible. He just completed updating it.
Cliff is more than an electrician. He has a keen eye for design and has made recommendation about fixtures, the best bulbs to use and very importantly placement in order to accomplish the desired effects.
We have called on Cliff over the years for our ongoing electrical and A-​V needs. He has always been reliable, his work is high quality and he is meticulous and well organized. We highly recommend West Coast lighting.
