As nails client & a consumer myself, I am all about providing our guests the best experiences when it comes to getting their Nails done. I make sure that each of our client is treated the «way» I always want to be treated each time I walk into any business establishment.

Being in a salon industry, not only we practice strictly the sanitization of metal tools (in complying with standards required by the CA Board of Cosmetology), I personally believe in salon cleanliness, friendliness staffing, professional environment and affordable, I always put my employees and clients on top.

At Luxury Nails & Spa, my Goal is to continue to provide to all of our clients this environment. I believe that everyone deserve a nice, clean & sanitized nails salon, a place to call «their salon» and a place where they can meet &

Disappointed i came in on a sunday and got a fullset with «gelpolish» i noticed that after just two days my nails looked horrible the polish is so thin you can see the strokes from the brush for the amount I was charged definitely not worth it !!!

I was very impressed with the guy who did my gel pedicure and full set! His name is jimmy. He was so very kind Took his time with my nails and my toes and made sure they were exactly how I wanted them. They came out absolutely perfect. This will now be my goto person for my nails and toes! Couldn’t be happier.

I didn’t write a check I payed with my debit card, I wrote both girls a check for there tip, and it was Kim that was there towards the end it was the girl who did my feet and she did a awkward laugh like she was nervous

I wanted to update my review i wrote one a while back about how i was hung up on/​could never get in since the old receptionist jaclyn had left & the owner Loann had wrote a comment back saying i must have been a friend of hers… which i was just a regular customer. anyways because of being hung up on etc i started going to a different place so i decided to give this place another shot I’M SO GLAD I DID. first i came in late almost too closing and they still made time to get me in for a pedicure/​gel mani last minute. I absolutely loved the new receptionist CARLY she is so sweet & great. I got my nails done by Mai (sorry if i got that wrong) she was great to talk to made me laugh had great conversation. So glad i came back and gave this another shot its my go to place from now on. No place is better!

Had such a good experience here. The receptionist was warm and friendly and even offered my friend and I a beverage. My nail technician (also named Nancy) was so cute and also did a top notch job on my gel manicure. She was very patient and even offered me similar colors to what I had picked to ensure I was happy with my color choice. Bonus points: they properly sterilize their tools with an autoclave, which sadly is rare in most nail salons.

Best nail in Escondido! She did my nails so cute and they were a reasonable price! The ladies there were all so nice. When I first came in, one of the ladies named Nicole helped me find the right color for me. Her artistic skill and friendliness deserves 5 stars !

Nicole! Ughh she’s the best. I will only go to her. She’s so sweet and i usually let her just do her thing and my nails come out perfect! I’ve gone to a billion nail salons. Finally I found someone worth coming back for! Thanks Nicole ! :)

Just checking in to update since I continue to go to Luxury Nails & Spa, and specifically Nancy. Overall, this is similar to any other nicer nail shop. For me the stand out continues to be Nancy. I sort of hate writing about how awesome she is because I like her being available when making appointments and she does book up as it is. But, she really does a great job and she comes across as caring about doing a great job and making me happy. Okay, it’s true, I tip pretty good and maybe that makes a difference, but my experience is always wonderful and I can almost always get the appt I am looking for.
The staff at Luxury are all pretty friendly, they usually stay super busy and the overall vibe is good. the location is maintained pretty well, and beverages are offered. Pedicure chairs are decent, but they are getting worn.
I’ll keep going back every month and I recommend even though they aren’t the cheapest place, but I’m a firm believer that you get what you pay for!

So this is the second time in a row that I had Leslie and I almost fell asleep in the chair. Holy heaven! She did a wonderful job and really took her time and made it an amazing pedi! This is literally the only place I will go to get a pedi in Escondido and they recognize me every time I come in since I have some hard to forget tattoos on my feet. They are very good about getting you an appointment when you call in advance and will even find a way to work you in when you simply want to do a walk-​in. They can get busy on weekend, especially Saturday so it’s best to wait for a Sunday morning. They no longer do the two stamp special on Tuesday but make sure to get your stamp card anyway and get it filled up for a free pedicure once you have your card filled out. The luxury lasts about 60 minutes so make sure you make time for it but after a rough week or just to help you unwind, it’s so worth the 42 dollars to keep the tootsies pampered.

Trinity is my go to girl. She can do vamp nails and she can do short & natural. The place is clean, serves wine and is so laid back. It’s smaller, which is a plus because some salons are so large you can feel the drama & competition. If Trinity is off Jimmy is a solid substitute and I am honestly not sure whom I like more but I started with Trinity so I remain loyal.

This is my 2nd great review for this nail salon but this one is on my mom’s behalf, she comes with me every 2 weeks. She usually goes to Mimi and Mimi does a beautiful job. Mimi did the snowflakes without even looking at a picture and they are perfect.

After going to 2 other salons — I went back to Luxury Nails — they are not the least expensive but my nails LAST! — the other two places I was having to do my nails after 2 weeks & than 3 weeks, where when I went to Luxury Nails & my nails lasted 6 weeks. — Extra $ 10 is worth it & in the end of the year it will have saved me much more than doing my nails over & over again with bad jobs at other locations.

BEST gel Mani Pedi EVER!
Comfortable atmosphere: greeted by the kind receptionist, treated me to two glasses of wine, short/​no wait for walk-​in
Attention to detail: Henry was so precise on my pedicure and his work is immaculate
Honesty: Ofelia recommended a different color for my manicure and it turned out better than I could have imagined
I will never go anywhere else!

(This is a late update because I just noticed I didn’t actually post it when I wrote it!)
The reason I use Unilocal is because it allows me the opportunity to share my own experiences and observations that others may find useful and for me to gain insight when I’m searching for a new business/​restaurant myself.
I look for threads of consistency, good or bad, if I have time to read all the reviews before trying. I see Unilocal as a tool which patrons can take into consideration when forming their own opinions and business owners can use to improve deficiencies or continue the excellent practices their customers appreciate.
In this case, because my opinion of the place changed so drastically, I felt compelled to update my review as I strive for accuracy, simply based upon on my own personal experiences.
Loann’s response to my review reinforces my previous decision of never recommending or patronizing that particular nail place again.
I’m grateful there are many other excellent nail businesses to choose from. I understand why some people might find it convenient to go there and if that works for them or they have consistently good experiences, great!!!
As for me, I can’t recommend a place I don’t believe in. When I wrote my updated review, Loann took the time to write a response but she didn’t take the time or care enough to pay attention to the real concerns I noted. Rather, she ignored or dismissed them and even suggested the facts we experienced and I shared were not the case.
The beauty of owning your own business is to run things the way you see fit. I’m sure some people utilize constructive criticism to improve their business and others dismiss it. Either way, as a patron of various businesses and a user of Unilocal,all I can do is offer my honest opinion based upon my own experience and hope it is of use to others.

I had a bad experience more than once at a different place — ten perfect nails at the auto Pkwy & in the Escondido mall don’t go there.
I tried this place Luxury Nails & it was wonderful, to make it easier to read my scroll of the many reasons to go here I am going to number them & simply give a brief reason for each one.
1. Front desk girl available — friendly
2. Uses technology to ans phone no call missed
3. Smells fresh not like acetone
4. It’s clean, plants, desk, floors, spa art –dust free
5. High end polish selection like OPI
6. Relaxing music
7. Front desk walked up to everyone asking if we’d like a soda or glass of wine or water.
8. My manicure table was clean & visibly showed me the valid CA manicurist lic good till 2017.
9. My chair was leather & metal comfortable & had a small pillow for back /​lumbar support.

Made an appointment here on a whim because my usual manicurist was out of town. Cuong gave me an acrylic and gel manicure that I couldn’t be more happy with! He was quiet and I appreciated that simply because I always think that those situations are so awkward, but he was very sweet. He was very clear with the options that I had, as well as continuing to check in to make sure that I was happy with his work. I appreciate the honesty and the consideration of a client when you’re having any kind of beauty service done! Again I couldn’t be more happy with the way my nails turned out and I will definitely be back to see him next month!

I got a deluxe gel pedicure done by Mai. She did an amazing and through job with them, she did a scrub on my lower legs and feet, and made sure the polish looked it’s best, plus the awesome massage at the end! My roommate came in a week or two ago and had Kim for her regular pedicure, it still looks amazing and kim even did a pretty awesome design on one of the toes.
I will definitely be back, as will my roommate.
TIPS ONLY IN CASH.
and the hostess/​cashier lady always offers something to drink, it’s quite wonderful and relaxing.
Only problem… the prices are a bit high.

Ok. I just got back and have to say that they are super duper nice! No rude chatter or comments about me having no clue what I wanted and changing my mind a couple times. Really fantastic basic French manicure. But I can’t reconcile the price… and it’s upsetting. Online it says $ 13 and mentions a hot oil massage but I didn’t get a hot oil massage and I was charged $ 21.50. I did get a single line of silver so maybe they up charged for nail art, though it was not «art» and they didn’t tell me about an up charge. I’m okay with being charged for the line, but an additional $ 8.50 doesn’t make sense to me. Especially since I didn’t get the hot oil massage described in their services list. I’d go back again because they really were kind, but I’ll definitely make sure to be more vocal about confirming prices before I take any advice about what to have done.
Edit: I suppose I should say I’m no nail salon expert, but Ive never been charged for having French as my color option. Even as it were, I’m fine with it but it definitely should have been disclosed. Also, the services list on their website DOES show hot oil massage for classic manicure:
Second Edit: I really appreciate an admission of truth from the business here. While I didn’t like being told I was wrong without a thorough check of the issue, I do appreciate the correction they made after being presented with the facts. The extra star from 3 to 4 is for the business’ willingness to address the issue. Not every business would do that.
