No job too big, no job too small. Come see us for anything from frame up restoration and/or modernization to maintenance or repair. We do true body work, not bondo filling. We perform painting, metal work, metal fabrication and welding. Our facility is in full compliance with the Puget Sound Air Pollution Control Board.
Brake jobs, oil changes, tuning, dents, dings, paint, glass, upholstery — we’re the shop you need. Call us for hard to find parts, advice on vintage car shopping, or inspection of a car you’re thinking about buying. Car not drivable? Schedule a time for the owner to come look at it, talk over options, give rough estimates on the work you need done. We work with your time frame and budget.

Established in 1996.
D & L Restoration, Inc. is owned and operated by Louis Cohn, who has over 30 years experience in auto repair, painting and restoration. The entire crew has over 100 years of experience. We take great pride in the cleanliness of our shop as well as our workmanship
o We do full ground-up restoration of most automobiles, implements and pick-up trucks.
o Vintage Auto maintenance, mechanical diagnosis/repair, and collision services (we work with most major insurance companies).
o We can transport vehicles to and from our facility.
o In house, we perform painting, metal work, metal fabrication and welding.
o Engine modifications, upgrades, or full swaps. Carburetors or fuel injection upgrades.
Meet the Business Owner
Louis C.
Business Owner
Louie: Louie’s father had a wrecking yard and was always bringing home cars for the boys to work on. Louie obtained his formal training in autobody repair at Edison Technical School in Seattle. He had over 42 years experience in the trade.
Louie Jr.: After The passing of Louie Sr. his son, also Louie, has taken the reins and is continuing in his fathers footsteps. Louie Jr’s history begins with taking the family lawnmowers apart at the age of 8 and carries all the way through to working for general motors dealerships, Ferrari, Maserati, Mercedes Benz, Alfa Romeo, and for other shops that worked on british and english automobiles. All the while working part time under his fathers wings to learn the sheetmetal and aluminum shaping side of vintage automobiles. As you can see, though only having a formal 20 year resume it goes all the way back to childhood.
Louie and his wife Laura live in Everett with their 3 kids, including their latest baby born in 2011.
