MADE 2” MEASURE

Don’t let anyone tell you that custom is too expensive. Rich of Made 2 Measure beats the big box stores prices, you will be surprised that his quote is comparable or less than the prefabricated or custom cabinets at the big box. We had Rich build & install our kitchen cabinets, hall cabinet and built in stereo cabinet and everything fits into our space, made to measure. He is very knowledgeable, he can translate my rough drawings and uses cad to create a precise plan. If I can’t figure out something, I ask him for ideas and suggestions. He does not use particle board or hardboard, everything is made out of wood, I chose cherry doors with maple shelves and drawers, dove tail joints, soft close hinges, corner base & upper lazy susan, pull out shelving and crown molding, beautifully built. Custom cabinets take a bit of time, no more time than placing your order with a big box. Installation was very neat and timely. He and his worker are very professional. I would recommend Made 2 Measure for your new cabinets. We are using Rich again for bedroom cabinets because his work is that good!!!

Richard added a cabinet and shelf in my kitchen to match the other cupboards. It matches nicely and finishes off the kitchen.

When looking for a carpenter I wanted quality, value, and customization. Richard gave us all 3 and more! We are beyond pleased with our new 12 foot custom desk that Richard just built for us. We talked to three different companies before deciding to go with Made 2″ Measure. Although he wasn’t the cheapest place we called, he was the least expensive company that built desks using wood and not particle board or some other cheap materials.
I called Richard and told him the type of desk I wanted built and gave him approximate dimensions. He described the type of materials he uses and when I asked he gave me lots of details about the quality of the different products that he uses. This is important to us since we wanted our desk to last.
Just a few short days after we sent me a drawing. Then came over took the needed measurements and brought a few drawer samples so we could pick exactly what we wanted. Shortly after our meeting Richard sent us the contract to get the process started. Richard even had a few ideas to enhance the desk like mounting our extension cord to the desk so it wasn’t laying on the ground. Genius idea, why didn’t I think of that? Plus he didn’t charge us extra, which was nice. He explained the process and the time frame needed.
Richard was always polite, respectful, and responded quickly to emails, phone calls, and text messages. When he was working on a job during the day if he didn’t answer he’d call me later than evening to answer my question.
He completed the desk several days before the agreed time (how awesome is that, but it gets better). Richard said if he completed the desk early that he’d call me a week ahead of time and he did! This gave us plenty of time to clear out the office so he could install the desk.
This desk has two workstations that are way nicer than the one at work. Several people have come over and complimented us on how beautiful our desk is. When my husband and I are ready to remodel the kitchen and bathroom we will be giving him a call.

Richard has done three jobs for us, cabinets in laundry room, entertainment center and a large cabinet/​bookcase in our hallway/​tech center. I am very impressed with his work, the cabinets are all excellent. Richard is easy to work with. Highly recommend.
