I had the same experience as Troy. $ 40 total for smog check and electronic transmission of results to DMV. 10 – 15 minutes at most for the whole process without an appointment. The waiting room is rather dingy but you are not there long enough for it to matter. Very pleasant staff. Just what you want in a smog check place.

i looked on Unilocal to find this is the cheapest place around, i called they said $ 40. i came down parked at the door they told me to bring my paperwork to the desk… waited maybe 5 min they came back said it was done and it passed no problems. i paid the $ 40 (they said $ 50 total for certification but i just told them they said 40 over phone so they just charged the 40 $) and i left. the whole process took maybe 10 min, this place is great and will recommend to everyone i know

Horrible service, owner changes prices at will when the prices are on the wall. Business Doesn’t keep any records of transactions or smog checks. Do not waste your time or money.

Wife took her car here 9⁄22. it didn’t pass, we weren’t sure why we checked the codes online and it lined up with what they told here a charcoal box of some kind about a 300 repair. After further research it was loose gas cap I THOUGHT. tighten it reset computer drove 100 miles took it somewhere else PASSED total cost to me ZERO.
They should have known it wasn’t going to pass with the check engine light on, they don’t offer a retest, not even a discount on it. MOST of they competitors will retest free. or reduced rate.
When we went to Auto Check in Covina, they checked to make sure the codes were clear, they also found a hose was unplugged. no proof it was Andys but it sure seems like it.
You got my money but you lost a customer who has been going there for the last 7 – 8 years.

Today was the third time I have used this station’s service and, as usual, I was very pleased. I usually get there at 8:00 am when they open because it is right on my drive to work (Alosta in Glendora). So I was their first customer. The attendant was prompt, courteous, and efficient. I was in and out of there before I could finish one round of Candy Crush (about 15 minutes for the uninitiated). I highly recommend this station and will continue to come back.

In and out quickly! Honored their pricing even though I didn’t have the coupon. My gas cap failed. They showed me the fail, re-​ran the test to demonstrate that it did fail and had a replacement cap there that I could buy for 10.00. What more do you need?

Place was busy but I was in and out in less that 15 minutes for $ 40 and a passing grade.
They aren’t the most friendly group and the waiting area is nothing more than a concrete floored space to sit with a few seats, but I didn’t come here for a latte and conversation.

If I could give a rating higher than 5 stars, this would be it. I went to get my car smogged today, and not only did that get taken care of, but I was also able to pay my registration, get new plates, and get new stickers right then and there… and all of that was done in about 20 minutes. They even put my new plates on for me. The staff there were chatting and joking with me while I was paying for everything, which made for a much more pleasant experience than dealing with the DMV office. It’s not the closest smog check station to my house, but I will definitely return. See you in two years, Alosta Smog.

These guys are pretty fast! I walked over to get a donut from donut man and by the time I walked back, my car was done. It must have been 10 minutes max. The price was $ 40.

Amazing! I’m almost not exaggerating when I say this, but they were damn near done with my car before I even sat down in their lobby! I passed smog, re-​registered my car, and paid my tags within 10 minutes. Did I mention there were people in front of me? Yeah, they are THAT fast.
Also, there was a gentleman behind me who didn’t know that his car didn’t have to be smogged since it was only a year old. The mechanic actually told him that he doesn’t even need to have it smogged yet. He jokingly offered to smog it anyway if the guy really wanted him to, but DMV wouldn’t be requiring it any time soon. The guy thanked the mechanic for his honesty and said he would be back with his other 6 cars.
Efficient AND Honest mechanic? Yes. They exist… at least at Alosta Smog anyway.

Just got back from getting my car smogged for the first time. I walked in with the paperwork, handed them my keys, sat down in one of the three chairs in their «office» (little corridor adjacent to their open air garage), and 20 minutes later, I fork over $ 40 (exactly) and walk out the door.
I posted business hours and smog check prices in the photos for those interested (as this Unilocal page is a little barren).
This was extremely painless and they were very professional about everything. I’d recommend them to anyone in need of a smog check.

After two prior bad experiences with Smog Test stations being closed during their business hours I made sure to call ahead.
In and out in 20 minutes, for about as cheap as smog comes, $ 40 out the door. Can’t really complain about anything.
