Crystal Clean Car Wash

When new management took over this place a few years ago things got better. Recently the service is pretty horrible. The people who take the car, as well as the ladies inside who collect your money, always seem nice and friendly. The guys that wash your car all have the appearance of being «users» of some sort. That is just a generalized statement. The windows are never whipped thoroughly, mirrors are always smudged, and the door jams and trunk areas are always dripping with water when you pull away. The gentleman who I believe is the manager, really doesn’t talk to his employees very well either.

Hard to believe how much gets stolen from my car when I come here.
Everyone knows that if you go to a car wash, you should hide your valuables. Or at least take it with you.
Money, wallet, anything that is important to you.
I’ve brought my car here more than 10 times. In 3 of these occasions, we’ve had items taken from our car.
Once, my whole coin tray got emptied out. When I confronted the guys, they said that it accidentally got sucked up by the vacuum. Really?!
The other time, I caught a guy stealing one of my CD’s. He actually tried to tell me it was his and that he was listening to it while he was cleaning my car. He looked my right in my face as he put it in his back pack!!! I let him have it, but of course, MY CD was gone.
The third time, I thought I had taken everything valuable out of my car but had completely forgotten a bag that I had just purchased from Victoria’s Secret in the back seat. Of course, it was gone. And none of the guys had a clue what I was talking about. And of course, there’s never a manager on site to talk to, according to the guys who wash my car.
Worst of all, aside from all the theft, they have left nasty swirl marks on my brand new car.
Needless to say, after these many incidents, I won’t be returning.

The only car wash I go to. There is literally one of these less than 1 minute away from my house, but the guys by my house aren’t as good as the ones here in Imperial Beach. I don’t mind the 5 minute drive here just to get a perfect crystal clean car wash. No pun intended. Plus they also give you a stamp card, luckily for me I come here a lot and after certain amounts of car wash you get one for free, or if you want a higher priced one, they knock off $ 8. It’s perfect.

Took my sister’s pretty dirty car to this place. Wow what a great job, very polite staff and they were fast.

I decided to bring in my new car here after reading all these good reviews about this place, but I didn’t have a good experience here at all.
They were not really busy at the time that I took my car in, just feels as if they rushed cleaning and detailing my car, they didn’t even vacuum my back seats.
Also, my windows had red micro fibers all over it…
From the towels they use to clean the windows, I asked one of the guys if he could remove them and he said «once you drive, the lint will fly off your window» I was like, «seriously?» And there was water marks all over my doors as well,
I just don’t feel as if I got my money’s worth when I had to go home and clean up the windows and take off the watermarks myself and even vacuum the back seats.
I was very upset.
Especially because I felt like they didn’t even really care that I wasn’t content, I mean not to be a brat or anything but it is a brand new BMW 2016
I wanted the car wash to be great when I paid $ 35
Due to the bad service I received, I won’t be back here again.

My wife and I lived in Imperial Beach from March 2014 to May 2015 and came across this car wash on Palm Avenue soon after we moved to the area. Even though we live in Chula Vista now, we still return to this place because of the great job that they do and their great customer service.
They have waxed a few of my cars as well as cleaned the interior and have detailed my wife’s car as well and did a great job. NO WATER MARKS AT ALL and they were also able to get out tough stains in the upholstery! I went in with each of our cars on two separate occasions and only bought a wash package but when I asked, one of the employees took the time and removed tree sap from our cars AT NO EXTRA CHARGE! I did give the person a generous tip as he really took the time to make sure that all of it was gone.
Keep up the great work! My wife and I will be returning (after the rain!).

Not happy with how they dried my car, they rushed it and didn’t pay attention to how they left water marks all over and micro fibers on my windows.
I had told them to dry it better because what I noticed the first time.
Still did a very bad job, had to finish up the job my self.
would not recommend and definitely will not be going back there again.

Want an affordable, yet reliable car wash? This is the place! The employees are hard-​working and get the job done. It’s not a fancy place by any means but that’s not what I look for in a car wash. The wash isn’t touchless, but they hand dry and touch up by hand. This is my «go to» wash place in IB!

I came here for the first time after my friend recommended this place to me and I was looking for a new car wash place. Okay honestly customer service at its finest! I was instantly greeted, explained how the car wash process worked here and given my options. After about 30 mins my car was done, then one of the guys noticed that it still needed a little more vacumming done, uhh talk about awesome. They cleaned it up again for me! Every staff member I encountered was very personable and friendly! I will definitely be back and would recommend this place to anyone.

Excellent car wash, friendly workers! If you have a dog, this is the place! No one has been able to get the hair out of my backseat, but they did!!! Thank you!

Gave this place a try and I was somewhat impressed but at the same time not completely sold.
On the bright side — the price is right and my car was ready in just about 5 minutes, and all the employees are really extremely friendly nice people. They also recycle there water!
The down side was the lack of cleanliness in the interior of the car. I left with dust still on my dash board and some kind of liquid on my passenger seat, that wasn’t dry or wiped off. I came here two days ago and the exterior of my car is already filthy for reasons that are unknown to me; so for now on I’ll probably just wash my car myself so that I’m the one to blame for the half done job.

I have been going here for over a year now. The deluxe wash is an exceptional wash for $ 13. And they offer a 10% military discount. They are very friendly and I’ve never had any complaints. If they miss something and you bring it to their attention they correct it on the spot.
Overall for the price you can’t beat the quality in such a fast amount of time.

Kenny (manager) keeps this place rockin’. Has been for like 25 years. Everyone is polite and attentive. I am attaching a pic from the «dry-​off» area; 5 attendants on my vehicle at once. Wow! I love to quality of the wash versus price. I can’t wait to go back to try the clay+wax. Great work.

Every time I come here I get the deluxe car wash and I still have dirt and dust all over in my truck… every time. They are too fast for the money. Go down the road.

Great quick car wash! The service is great, the attention to detail is unparalleled and the prices are great too.
Been here a couple times and for the price that I would pay close to my house I would 3 of the same services here! I highly recommend it and it has military discount. Great place and totally worth it!

I am now a regular at this place, the last 3 times here I’ve received great washes.
Although, I do have one minor issue in the fact that the employees never seem to do a good job vacuuming out my car or it could be that the vacuums need updating.
Also, employees tend to miss the «corners» when cleaning the windows inside and out. Everything is great and nicely cleaned except when it comes to the smudges & streaks on the outside corners of all windows.
5 stars goes to the speed & efficiency of work done here. Vacuuming & windows could be a little better though but I don’t see myself not coming here anymore
Prices also went up $ 1. That’s expected when they’ve got huge customer base.

I am soooo pleased! As my previous review stated, I came here and apparently slipped through the cracks and didn’t have a great wash experience. The owner (Rita) contacted me herself and offered the opportunity to give them another shot… boy am I glad! Kenny, who I believe is the manager made sure my car and experience was superb from start to finish. My great white looks and smells amazing. I’m currently stoked, as I wasn’t sure what to expect.
I will def be returning and I graciously appreciate the entire team for providing great customer service and making things right. Now I see why folks love this place! Go!

I was gonna update my last year review, but I guess it’s gone because they change their name.
Anyways, I always get great service in this location. Jose and Jesus are my favorites because their work are spotless and superb.
I got the chance to meet their manager today, Kenny, and he is a great guy as well. All about good customer service is their goal.

It’s that time again. Time to pamper my baby. Hands down. This place never fails to impress me with their service and consistency for good quality car wash.
It’s true you have so much to choose from around the area but I’m seriously vouching for this place. It wouldn’t hurt to try it. If you don’t like it, then don’t come back. As simple as that. But you really would be missing out on the best 21 $ well-​spent of your life.
The simple fact that it takes at least 30 – 40 minutes for my car to be done, I feel like it’s being detailed every time I come here. Inside and out looks brand spanking new and smelling fresh!
I love these guys! They take care of me and my truck and I take good care of them!
