All Inclusive Moving & Storage

Would not recommend this storage company to anyone. They took my furniture to their storage and damaged my entire dining and bedroom set. Completely ruined my furniture and took no responsibility for it after spending over $ 3k for them to pick up, store, and deliver (my furniture was in storage for 1 year). Overall horrible customer service!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! It is a big scam, it looks like they make a lot of their money with the 25% deposit after they mistakenly quote you by a lot, and then they would not refund your deposit for nothing, even though, they admit they are in the wrong. The rep will sweet talk you into this great price and the guy is just setting you up for a very bad deal and nightmare.
The service from the guys they use in The Cleveland, OH area is the worst you can imagine, from being late, to hiring unprofessional resources, to being courteous and finally to nickel and dime you for any item that is not on their list.
Please save yourself some headaches and money and not deal with these shady business, unless you want to donate some money to legally registered crooks

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I did not listen to all of these reviews and now I am soooo sorry! Scam scam scam!!! Honestly I had a bad feeling and when I went to pull out of the deal they talked me into staying promised me the world! I worked with T*m and boy he can sell you ice in alaska! Beware they will give you a quote then after they load your stuff tell you it something completely different!!! Whoever wrote that 5 star review must have been a friend or employee trying to do them a favor!!! Horrible company!

DON’T USE THIS COMPANY! We were quoted $ 6200 and ended up paying over $ 9000. Our belongings were supposed to arrive July 10^th and we did not receive it until August 22. We called them at least three times a week and each time we were given a different excuse and then they wouldn’t even speak to us! Ricardo is horrible! We were missing a few boxes, several damaged items. Do your research before booking a company! Again… DON’T USE THIS COMPANY!

I would give this service zero stars if I could. Our 1 bedroom move from Jersey City to Manhattan was the worst ordeal we’ve suffered!
This team is most unprofessional. The lead guy Alex was gruff like a ruffian and threatened me several times for merely inquiring about their wrongdoings.
Here are the specifics:
1.) they quoted $ 400 for a 5 hr move for our 1 bedroom apt and ended up charging us $ 1400.
2.) we had packed boxes and only needed our TV, couch and breakable items to be packed by them. This was included in our estimate. Alex walked in and refused to pack our TV. On requesting this egomaniac several times, he said they would use special packaging which would cost $ 300+ extra. We were really in a fix. Finally after several requests he ordered us to pay the 3 men a $ 50 tip (that’s $ 150 straight out the window). Eventually they ended up just wrapping the TV in the blankets. No special material was used.
3.) They took 2hrs to reach the new apt. and started moving literally one little box a time to increase the number of hours. They got fined for parking wrong and even charged that $ 60 to us
4.) It was a real harassment asking them to bring our stuff to the apt quickly. Surprisingly they were able to complete the packing and moving from the old apt in just 2hrs and then took 5hrs to bring the same stuff up and dump it as per their whim.
5.) one of the other guys started banging our furniture and abused several times. I felt like these men were lifted off the road and didn’t have any working man’s etiquette
Overall, this was a really harrowing experience not just because they cheated us of our money but also mental harassment at the hands of these uncultured men. Our complaint to their office and manager was met with equal apathy. Unfortunately, by this time we had no expectations left.
Trust me, I’ve left out normal stuff like showing up hours late (knowing how limited the time windows at manhattan are). You are better off organizing people off the streets than going to this horrible company.
I hope people read this review and don’t suffer the way we did!

Scam scam scam!!! These guys literally extracted money from me! Quote of $ 400 turned into $ 1350 and the move was just from Jersey city to Manhattan!!! Alex is the worst possible person who can do your move. Charged me $ 200 bucks for a TV box and then used my own box and cut it out. Avoid these guys like the plague. Rude, nasty people who are out just to ROB you blind.

My friend used these people to move from Boston to AZ. Over a month ago… her stuff STILL has not arrived. They keep citing «technical issues» but I think we all know that’s not the case. They have stopped answering her phone calls, and will not call her back. As far as we can tell, they have stolen her belongings and never intended to deliver her things. She has even started filing a police report, and that doesn’t seem to light a fire under their ass either. NEVER. EVER. Use this company. They are criminals.

If you want bad service, be lied to, and loose your money at the same time, hire these guys. They are really good that this!
They will take your money and tell you they cant do your move on the 11^th hour and tells you to get someone else to move you!
This company was the dispatcher used by Northeast Movers.
On August 7 late afternoon, I accepted an estimate from this company for an interstate move scheduled to pickup at my apartment on August 8.
I know it is a last minute booking but they accepted it especially when I offered to pay 75% of the $ 3199 quote. I was already out of state and had friends were going to open the apt for the movers. I told them that there will be no extension to the moving date as there were people moving in the apartment the next day. Still they accepted the job and gave me the window of 4pm-​8pm arrival. Perfect!
The Dispatcher — Z*^k called me, told me he was the owner, he will take car of my move and have nothing to worry about, Just ensure all the documentations are signed buy the proper person and monies paid.
On August 8, I called Northeast Movers to make sure that they have all the paper work that they needed from me and monies had cleared from our AMEX card. They said everything was fine. I asked if we were still on schedule. The boy I was talking to said that I had to talk to the dispatcher and gave me Z^*k’s number.
I spoke to Z*^k who again assured me that everything was good at their end all the paper work and monies paid. Nothing to worry about.
5:45pm I got a call from Z^*k saying I have some bad news for you madam… our truck broke down on route 78… I was mad but calm, I pleaded with my landlord who said he would allow me up to 8am the next morning to get my things out…
Cut the long story shot, Z^*k and this company did not make it to my apartment nor did Z%*k made any effort to find any truck to get my things out of my apartment. Instead he offered to do the move on the 10^th of August. He said he had no other truck or people, his Friday is fully booked and he was moving his parents. blah, blah, blah…
What about the people sitting in the broken down truck…
What about calling uhaul and renting trucks there???
I found myself calling all over NJ looking for local movers. finally I found one and called Z&*k to ask if my local mover can put my furniture in his storage, I was still calm. He said yes and gave me the address. However, when it I called Z^*k to give him my mover’s name and phone number and to make arrangements on time to go to the storage — he turned off his phone…
Still hopeful that my mover can put my things in Z^*k’s storage, he was nowhere to be found and he hid behind his people and got Ricardo to talk to me. Ricardo made excuses, I got mad and told him that we paid they accepted a late booking they had to perform what they committed to — finally said to me, «well you don’t always get what you want…» find someone else and we’ll give you your money back!
WOW — that’s really bad customer service.
I have since found better people to move me even if I have to get the Uhaul and pay for the gas myself — Reliable Movers from NJ talk to Iris if you need labor assistance. These guys packed my 3br apartment in 2 hours — and into a storage in Newark in no time. They were fast professionals and extremely helpful and as their name says, truly reliable PH: 862−371−7896
I am still waiting for my money to be returned!

**Local moves only!**
I used this company three times for moves within Manhattan and loved them. However, my cross country move turned into a disaster.
1. Delivery was promised in 10 – 14 days. It was actually over a month. No kidding.
2. Although three movers picked my stuff up, the driver arrived alone to deliver it. We had to help him, and he complained constantly about how his colleagues had packed the boxes (fewer large boxes rather than many smaller ones).
3. I was promised that all furniture that had been taken apart would be put back together, but actually none of it was.
4. Boxes packed by the movers were not weight-​bearing (similar items packed together, up to the top of the box, etc) and most boxes were crushed, resulting in an unusual amount of damage. I had also asked for my hats to be packed in reinforced «dish» boxes and marked «top,» but they were thrown into the bottom of wardrobe boxes and all of the stiff straw ones are ruined.
5. Many items were missing, including three large pieces of furniture, the legs that were removed from a table, and the lamp poles that were packed separately from lampshades.
6. Only one box was missing by their count, which seems to have contained all of the shoes that were in my coat closet, the knives and kitchen utensils that were in drawers, and my French and Italian lingerie. (As my cheap American stuff made it, my husband suspects the undies may have disappeared intentionally.) That is indicative of the haphazard packing: from the surprises I found in other boxes, those things could very well have been in one box!
7. Extra items: I have 2 rugs that aren’t mine. I have asked for contact information for the other deliveries from that truck, but have had no response.
Zeek has asked me to file a complaint with his subcontracted claims management company. My credit card company assures me that they will address the performance issues if the claims process only reimburses for the damage, but this isn’t what I wanted. I wanted my stuff, on time, with only reasonable breakage.
Don’t risk it if you’re going out of town.

Not all-​inclusive at all. Hidden charges all over the place!!!
Before the move, I asked the rep on the phone to be very clear about what I would be charged.
He failed to mention that I would be charged for rolls and rolls of duct tape at $ 4 a roll to tape up blankets around boxes.
He failed to mention that I pay toll both ways across GW Bridge for the truck to get from their warehouse in NJ to Manhattan… and I was moving from Manhattan to Bklyn. Nowhere on my bill should I see NJ tolls!!!
They also charged me for the labor hour rate for the time it took them to drive their truck from wherever they store the truck in NJ to the address I was moving from. Not only that, they charged me for time back to NJ post move.
Then they added a tip for themselves not based on labour but also on the tape, driving time pre-​move/​post move, and the tolls. And (this is where it gets ridiculous), the «head mover» begins to manipulate the bill deducting cost from tape charge, labor charge, and toll charge to add to the movers’ already grandeous tip amount.
They drank all my beer in my fridge without asking. They did a good job moving-​wise. I just wish they were not rip-​off artists when it came to the bill.

This place was a ripoff. We reserved a noontime start for a move, then the day before they told us it couldn’t start until a window of 2−4pm. Of course they arrived at 415 had lunch and then started with one less person then we had also reserved. Of course nothing was inclusive in the move, everything was an upcharge the whole way through. The estimate was totally wrong by half. The movers were slow and purposefully lazy. The only thing they were good at was using up tape to charge you extra on. I will be reporting to the BBB. Do not even tempt fate with this company.
Update: I reported to BBB and the company responded with the same canned response so even after the ordeal they still don’t understand what the issue was. They stated they would send $ 100 rebate. This was 90 days ago and I’ve yet to see a thing from them.
Update: After several months the rebate never appeared. I’ve been warning everyone I know who is moving to steer clear from this company.

Worst management in the world. I’ve never felt so offended and lied to in my life. Promise u one thing but literally never deliver. What terrible people to knowingly book to move ur apartment and then leave u stranded, all the time u still have to move out ASAP, now they kept my money and I have to find another company at the last minute. Thanks for the worst moving experience possible !!

I moved from my studio apartment in Jersey City to Union NJ.
I received a quote for $ 380
Since the rate was so reasonable, I asked how much additional would it be to go to East Rutherford to pick up some other stuff I had in a garage (10 min away) FYI it was a bedframe and table top, completely disassembled.
Enthusiastically, the lady sad it would stay the same rate of $ 380!!! Awesome!!! I agreed for the second stop.
I must say they worked pretty fast and were very nice guys. They did go an hour over so I was expecting the additional $ 95 added to the total.
However, once I received the bill of $ 790 before tip, I was baffled.
They charged $ 4 per roll of tape (used 8), $ 10 per plastic bag to rap my sofa and other stuff like chairs etc, $ 10 per box in which they started stuffing the random things I had laying around (and took the boxes back after they moved us, lol) .
I thought moving companies would include some of these things but I guess I was wrong.
If you want a company that truly gives you a flat rate and does not charge $ 4 for a role of tape I would recommend MORRISSEYS MOVING COMPANY in Hoboken. They are fast, nice and give a more accurate quote.
Everything was good about this company but the miscellaneous expenses you will be sure to incur.
Here are the rates for All Inclusive:
1. $ 95 per hour for total move
2. Additional $ 95 for their drive time back to their office.
3. $ 10 per box, which they take back
4. $ 4 per roll of tape
5. $ 10 for plastic — I am not sure about this exactly but I vaguely remember it being this much for plastic, which they use for mattresses, chairs, sofa etc.
6. Recommended tip is 20% which I feel any movers deserve because it is not easy work.
7. You have to pay the movers in cash so have it handy.
You make the choice on who to use, just make sure you are aware of any additional charges.

If I could give these guys no stars I would. They were a day late which screwed up our moving plans. This is after they tried to change the schedule but I told them no but they decided to be a day late anyway. Then they tried charging us DOUBLE! After we threatened them with legal action they backed down. And this was only because my new boss was paying for it and had a lawyer at her disposal. A MONTH and a half later we finally got our stuff.
BUT is doesn’t end there. Our brand new boxes were smashed to hell, our new couch that we had for a month had all kinds of marks on it and various items were damaged. I’d rather move my stuff box by box across country than use these guys ever again. Even if they offered to move us for free. STAY AWAY from these idiots!

Because of my job, I move at least once each year. That being said, I’m sure you can understand how many different moving companies I’ve used in the past.
Explanation of my experience:
Starting with booking my move, I called this company (amongst many others) and was greeted by a professional, knowledgable person who wanted my business. I decided to go with this moving company not because they were the least expensive, but because they seemed genuinely intersted in my business and that they’d take care of my things.
I received a phone call the day before the move to confirm elevator time, that my new and old building had received the certificate of insurance and to see if I had any questions about Moving Day. On Move Day, I recieved a phone call in the morning from the «foreman» stating what time they’d be there and they showed up exactly on time and got to work. I have a 4 poster bed, a dining room table, and a sectional couch that require disassembly and reassembly in a very specific way. The workers did this very quickly, wrapped everything up perfectly and those items (along with everything else in my apartment) were delivered without a single dent or scratch. (First time for everything, right?). The foreman explained all of the pieces of paper I was signing thoroughly, made sure that I was happy with where everything was placed and had me inspect each piece before they left.
They are 100% worth every penny. :o)

I had a great experience with these guys. They were fairly priced, showed up on time and moved my furniture between apartments in Manhattan.
I used them again to get some furniture delivered from a freight company. They couldn’t have been nicer or friendlier.

Terrible.
The movers were supposed to show up at 12:00 p.m. and called the day of to say they wouldn’t be there until 4 p.m. I ended up cancelling altogether and going with another company after reading the other reviews.

This doesn’t even deserve one star. This is the WORST company I’ve ever dealt with. ALL of my stuff arrived broken and/​or damaged with the boxes half open. Here are just a FEW of my complaints.
1) The driver arrived and picked up my stuff and insisted on packing a few items, but instead of indicating that he packaged it, he wrote «Scratched» next to everything he packed. How in the world do you scratch a mattress?
2) All of the items listed were mis-​marked and didn’t represent the items I had indicated i wanted moved. The driver even admitted that everything was wrong and he was just guessing as to what was mine.
3) THEY KEPT MY STUFF FOR TWO MONTHS BEFORE DELIVERING. My items were picked up in June and not delivered until today, August 28^th!!!
4) They listed 24 items but only provided 22 and then tried to give me two items that weren’t mine in replacement for the missing bench and framed pictures that weren’t delivered. I asked the driver to return the items to the warehouse so the original owner can claim them and he said «we are just going to throw them away.» Regardless, we refused to accept them as a replacement. If someone is missing a box of tax information or two large glass tops, we know they are in their truck.
5) All of my boxes had clearly been searched through. Items were opened, things were missing and the boxes were all extremely damaged. It looked like they packaged my stuff during the hurricane.
6) They quote you one rate and make you pay half on a credit card on pick-​up and half in cash BEFORE they unload the truck. The driver says they have problems at every house they drop stuff off at. We even involved the police.
7) They told me that my missing items would be paid out based on weight. However when asking what the weight was, they said they didn’t weigh it!?!
I have heard of people having issues with their moving companies, but when discussing this with my co-​workers (who also had been moved cross country) NONE of them had these issues.
I’m convinced they store your stuff to decide what the employees want to keep for themselves.
Again, if someone is missing two glass slabs or a box full of taxes, please message me. I can tell you the drivers number, license plate and location of the truck.

Did they go under new management???
I have used them before for previous moves and unless they recently hired new employees, went under new management, they went from a B to a F-​. My quote was practically worth poo n I ended up paying more than double.
They also lost a 5′ framed picture. I called and called and called and left a message with a person everytime to look for it. Every time I called about it, they asked me if I talked to someone or just left a voicemail. I made it clear that if the person responds to me and has a conversation with me, it was a person (unless they have a really really high tech voicemail systems which they can afford with how they cheat you).
Oh, will they pay you for the 5foot framed picture they charged you extra to box and wrap because it was heavy? No. Where is it now? Probably hanging in one of thier living rooms. They can keep it. Because I relocate so much they just lost tons of money they could’ve cheated me out of for my next move.
Maybe use them once. But box everything. Have them move 10 boxes tops and then, and only then, will it be the quote they gave you. Also, not all the movers that come speak english. One will, the leader of the pack.
It was the worst worst worst experience. WORST!!!
They do accept credit cards because you will need it.

If you want to be quoted $ 1,300 and then charged $ 5,000, then hire these guys!
I did a cross country move from DC to LA and was quoted $ 1,300 for a studio (as long as it was under 2 thousand lbs). We had a few problems with them:
1. When they got there, they took a look at our hallway and said they had to charge us another $ 400 for the long hallway… uh, what? Of course! The law says that a 500 feet hallway will cost you another $ 400! Duh! Oh, but wait, the hallway’s only 125 feet. Hmmmmm… they didn’t count on me asking the apt manager for a blue print of the property…
2. After we boxed everything up perfectly and waited for them to start moving it into their truck, they said they didn’t have space. Sorry, no space… can we pick it up 3 days from now? Uh what? Thanks guys! After you left, we had to move it to another apt on another floor that our building graciously let us use… although we wouldn’t have had to IF YOU JUST TOOK IT WHEN YOU SAID YOU WOULD.
3. After we were back on the west coast, we got a call from them saying that our stuff was going to cost us $ 5,000 because we had 6,000 lbs of stuff. Uh, are you serious? 6,000 lbs is the weight of 2 cars. I’m pretty sure that the bed, sofa, and small knick knacks didn’t weigh that much. SO SURE that the BF went to every single manufacturer’s website to get the weight of everything we owned and we were still under 2,000k. Nice try guys.
4. When we finally got our stuff, oh, low and behold! a big ass chip on the side of my black table.
Dealing with them was the biggest nightmare ever. I completely regret hiring them! Really, this company is a 0 star.
