Love this place! I wish there was better parking… but it’s coming once the construction is done.

I’ve been going here now for 4yrs. And even though I’ve moved further away it’s worth the extra 20minute drive !!

Amazing nail spa! They do a very precise job, are very kind and take extra long during the included hand and foot massage during a mani pedi :) best nail spa in kirkland!

I’ve been going here for over 15 years. I know many others who have gone here for 15 – 20 years. The husband wife duo used to have two locations across the street from one another on Rose Hill. I moved out of state a few years back but when I’m in town I still return here. The prices are competitive and the owners are personable as they still remember me. The best part is they do not rush the massage, even if they are busy. The worst part is the parking.

If anyone one is looking for JULIE that worked at BB Nails for 18+ years! She’s now at TOPTEN nails located directly across from Sur La Table in Kirkland. Apparently there was some reorganizing at BB Nails and she wasn’t part of their future plan. When this happened, BBNails went from a 4 star to a 1 star very quickly in my book.

My last pedi there was less than stellar. I definitely go the impression the girls were talking smack about me and they kept trying to keep my polish that I had brought from home, what the heck? Oh and massage was kinda lame. Still is reasonably priced though and hopefully I just had one cranky gal.

Cheap– but bad service experience. My friend and I had an apt for 3 and they didnt get started with us until 3:45. There were about 5 people working on 2 girls while we were there and no one paid any attention to us for about 30 minutes… Once they started with us, the girl who was giving my friend a manicure left half way through the manicure and the woman who was doing mine went back and forth between the two of us. The woman who did my mani was really unfriendly and was very short with me. I would go back only because it was pretty inexpensive(12 $ for a mani) but definitely would not recomend them due to the customer service experience. They also dont take credit cards.

If I could negative stars I would… Within 5 minutes of being there the girls started talking about my friend and I. Yes, in most salons there is some degree of trash talk, but this got more and more overboard as we stayed. At one point, one of the girls told another to «hurry up and paint those two bitches nails so we can go home early.» WTF?!? What kills me is that I’m Vietnamese and understood every word, but they apparently didn’t care or think I was Vietnamese. About forty minutes in, one of the girls finally asked if I was Filipino… I said no I was Viet… next question from her was«oh but you don’t speak»…my response was«I speak fluent». They then sat there grilling me with questions in Vietnamese trying to test how fluent I actually was. Eventually they realized I did understand them and still not a single apology. Finally when we were all done, the job was just mediocre. When we tried to pay they said they don’t take credit card. Cash or check only. So she tells one of us to run across the street to go get cash. WTF… what business doesn’t take credit card anymore!

I was looking for a good nail salon on the eastside to get gel nails and a pedi with a girlfriend. We ventured into BB Nails with high hopes. While the pedicure was pretty good and I liked the style of massage chairs — the gel nails for both of our manicures was less than satisfactory. Unfortunately, both myself and my friend had our gel manicures starting to peel and chip in less than one week. I have been getting these gel manicures for one year and this was by far the poorest job I’ve seen done. Normally should last for almost 2 weeks. It’s to bad — unfortunately, I won’t be back since they don’t seem to have the gel nail application technique down.

I came here New Year’s Eve with a friend who’d been a regular before she moved. We both went for fun colors, and settled down to enjoy our pampering. The technician working on my nails was excellent. She had to soak my gels off, which took a while, but she didn’t ruin my natural nails in the process, which I appreciated. The end result was amazing, and I will definitely be back.

I always prefer BB nails for pink and white fills over anywhere else. I like how they freehand the white powder rather than using a tool or nail tip to cut in the smile line. My favorite gals are Kimmie and B(the owner). Kimmie can be a little rough, but she’s fast and the results are perfect. Amber is pretty good, I didn’t like Nancy’s work. The price for a pink and white is better than other salons in the area. I like the new salon but it’s cramped and parking not as good.

Cash or credit? Nope, they don’t accept cards. Be prepared! The new location in Downtown Kirkland across from Park Place is great. They have nice spa chairs and it is pretty clean. It’s no ‘luxury” experience, but it’s a good place to get a pedi. I wouldn’t recommend getting Shellac done here, I’ve had it done many places and when I had it done here it barely lasted 2 days before it started to chip. I think it is because they rush the UV light part of the treatment, it usually takes much longer everywhere else I have been.

I had my first pedicure at BB Nails about a month ago. I was frequenting another nail salon that I was reasonably satisfied with but my friend planned a Girls Night here. I wound up being so impressed with BB Nails that I’m going back for my next pedi, even though it is a 20 minute drive to get there from my place. The facilities are clean and feel well-maintained. But for me, the best thing was how the woman who did my nails treated my ingrown toenails. Other places have just cut the nail away in the past, which means I’m pain-free for 2 weeks at the most. At BB Nails, she used a technique that instead pulled the skin away from my nails(I won’t go into too much detail as it IS kind of gross). I’m only starting to feel pain again 4 weeks later! Only needing a pedi once a month is going to save me a nice chunk of change over the course of a year. I still think that the going rate of $ 25 for a basic pedicure is outrageous but it seems that is consistent no matter what salon I go to so I won’t dock BB Nails a star for price. I AM only giving four stars, though, because they don’t take debit/credit and that’s an inconvenience for someone like me who doesn’t carry a checkbook or cash as a general rule. But remembering my checkbook is worth it to get such a great pedi!

Walk right in, sit right down. BB will never turn you away. Just be prepared to wait a little while even if they say«Pick a color». The newest location on 85th is even BETTER then the one on 122nd… FYI! Thanks to the deluxe pedicure massage chairs! Good prices. Sweet staff. Full fill was about $ 20. Out of the 7+ nail places in K-town, this is one of my favorites. Cash/Check only!!!

this review is for the NEWDT Kirkland location. The salon has moved to next to Shell gas station 2 – 3 weeks ago. New chairs, station, décor, everything looks nice and clean. i have heard a few compliements from other customers when i was there on saturday. Price is highly competitive compared with 4 other salons in the same DT radius. Quality is good compared with what you are paying for. Anyway, any waxed eyebrow or nails will grow back in few weeks, so i always think good price, good quality and excellent location are my priorities. Only drawbacks is seems cash/checks only…

I came here with a friend who has been a client of theirs since high school. If she’s been going to the same place for 8 years or so it’s gotta be good, right? Um, no. I don’t even have the energy to go into the grossness of this place. My pedicure is still holding up almost two weeks later, but good results are not worth worrying that you’re going to catch something from sitting in one of their broken«spa chairs.» Plus, with tip, I had to pay $ 35. Oh, and they don’t take cards. Not a good sign. Avoid.

Freakshow. This place is a torture chamber. Unforgettable experience about two years ago. I know it’s been a while, but the horror warrants the review, trust me. I asked for the best-looking, thin acrylic look, with good, deep smile lines. The technician recommended pink and white, which apparently means drilling a trench in the top quarter inch(yes) of each nail, while your client goes mute with pain. I told her it hurt, but she just pressed on them(like your mom would wipe stuff off your face with spit) and continued. She filled the trenches with white powder. I don’t even remember if the smile lines turned out well or not. I’m guessing no, because all I remember was the PAIN. My fingertips hurt for days.
