was nervous to try lash extensions for the first time since I wasn’t sure how to describe to someone exactly the look I was going for but Mimi made me feel so at ease and I trusted her right off the bat. She gave me the most beautiful full set and I can’t believe I never have to wear mascara or eyeliner again and can still look like I spent a lot of time on my eye makeup. I’ll be back for fills, thanks Mimi! :)

I came here today with my stepmom and her niece to get a pedicure. I have been to a variety of nail salons and this is the nicest I have been to, including InSpa!
When seated, we were presented with a menu with beverage choices and different services and add on options
We opted for the VIP pedicure which includes scented lotions and sugar scrubs. I chose the jasmine tea, lemon martini lotion and orange sugar scrub.
The VIP also included a hot stone massage and parifin wax soak. All of the materials were sanitized before use and Anh was absolutely wonderful. I will definitely be back!

Although admittedly, the staff was very friendly and nice, I had a pretty gnarly manicure two days ago…
My $ 30 shellac manicure not cured properly which made it lumpy because the top layer began sliding around on the middle layer and eventually peeled off later that SAME day.
Not just the application of the polish/​use of UV lights all screwed up, but my manicurist went to town on my fingers with those cuticle clippers. I have pretty soft cuticles and delicate fingers and don’t require to much buffing or clipping but this chick would not quit! The area around my fingernails is absolutely RAW with tons of little micro-​cuts all around. Ouch!
She also kept buffing my nails over and over, which have no ridges and don’t require such a rough treatment. It’s going to be a pain in the butt to grow out all the unnecessary damage and now my nails are all bendy, thin and weak.
I pay extra for shellac so my nails are stronger and so I don’t have to worry about my polish peeling off. This was an awful experience.

I’ve had eyelash extensions done more times than I’d like to admit– it was love at first sight once I laid eyes on my first full set and I’ve been hooked ever since. On a friend’s recommendation, I went to My for lashes at Myano Spa in Seattle. I loved My and followed her when she opened Fabulash in Kirkland for regular lashes over the next year. She is AMAZING. I could always rely on her for literally fabulous lashes that were so full, pretty, and always with perfect application. This review is NOT for my experiences with My. This review is an honest recount of my recent experience at Fabulash which I feel customers should have the right to know about.
I made the difficult decision to take a 9 month hiatus from extensions to allow my lashes to repopulate in preparation for my wedding. Upon my return to Fabulash a week before my wedding, I learned that My no longer did lashes there. I was devastated, but Ema ensured me that _​_​_​_​_​ (I’m not goin to single her out in case she had a bad day) would do a fabulous job and take good care of me.
It was the worst eyelash application I have ever had (out of maybe 50 applications). For one, the girl took less than an hour for a «full set.» If she were just efficient, that would be one thing, but when I went home and looked closely– I saw that many of my natural lashes were untouched with no extensions. The lashes were not uniformly distributed, there were spaces of natural lashes amongst clusters of extensions (clumped together messily with glue), so that when you looked from above or below, there were noticeable gaps– it wasn’t full and thick and uniform as I’d been accustomed to. Additionally, the lashes began to turn every which way; they were not straight and orderly like they had always been with My – they went CRAZY. They weren’t precisely attached to the lashes– some were clumped together, some attached only at a single point of contact on the side of the lash. But the worst part was the way they felt– many of the lashes were applied too close to my lid, so they constantly poked my eyelid every time I blinked. When I looked closely in the mirror, there were actually lashes glued onto my eyelid skin. Having never experienced this before, I naively thought it would settle down and get better on it’s own. It did not, it only got worse. On my wedding day, I had false lashes applied OVER MY EXTENSIONS because the extensions were so sparse and messy.
I had never experienced a poor application like this. I didn’t know what to do. I should have complained and made a fuss, I should have gone back to Fabulash for a fix, but I did not have that luxury– I left for my destination wedding the very next day, and was gone for 2 and a half weeks for the wedding and honeymoon. Of that 2.5 weeks, I spent every day scratching at my eyelids, ripping out my lashes because that gave me relief from the torture that was my extensions.
I called Fabulash as soon as I returned to Seattle to inquire about lash removal. I have never had my lashes removed before – I’ve always just rolled them into the next fill to keep them going for a year. Even on my last set with My before my hiatus– they grew out so nicely that I let them naturally fall off. But this time was different– every day that the lashes were on, I clawed at my eyes constantly and ripped out more extensions with my natural lashes as the unfortunate collateral damage.
I called Fabulash to explain my poor experience and resultant chronic eye irritation, but Ema gave no sympathy– she bluntly stated that it would cost $ 40 to remove the poorly applied lashes that I had just paid $ 100 + tip to put on. No matter that it was a terrible job and irritated my eyes for the past 2.5 weeks and that I had already ripped out the majority of them. Ema stated I should have called within 24 hours to take them off. I explained that I didn’t know I was supposed to do this, and couldn’t have come back anyway because I left on a plane to Hawaii 16 hours after they were applied. I incorrectly assumed Fabulash would take care of me when I got back to Seattle. Zero empathy from Ema, just cold, unapologetic statement of their «policy.» I had never known about this «policy.» I have never seen it posted obviously anywhere and could not find it on their website. Lash removal is not even listed as a service, and certainly does not have a defined fee of $ 40.
Arbitrary «policy» or not, I feel completely wronged as a customer. By principle, you should take care of your customer if something your business did directly caused them physical harm, chronic eye problems, and disfigurement. It is poor business practice and poor customer service, period.
Girls: Be aware of the «policy” — call within 24 hours if your lashes don’t feel right, or you’ll be stuck paying even more for someone’s shoddy work and your personal suffering.
Fabulash: put it in writing on your website if it’s a «policy» you expect customers to know.

Fabulash is my one stop beauty shop! Emma the owner is so sweet, professional, and super helpful. The entire staff is kind, friendly and accommodating! My lashes always look fabulous and full, and last for 3 – 4 weeks. I usually go to Tina, but all of the girls are amazing. My go to nail gal is Tammy. I switch back and forth between shellac and acrylic. When I have my acrylics I just show her a picture of what I like and she makes it happen! The atmosphere is great, the prices are very reasonable, and the service is spectacular.

Got my lashes done there a few times now. Very nice staff, great product, quality work.
One little criticism, appointments, show up on time and still have to wait 15+ min.
However, I still do recommend this place to all my friends.

i had moved to Kirkland and was nervous to try a new girl to do my lash fill but was pleasantly surprised with the results. I think I’ve tried all of the girls for my lashes because I always make last minute appointments and they always turn out fabulous and I can go 3 – 4 weeks without a problem. They have always been on time, are fairly priced and always take their time filling my lashes and don’t charge me extra if my fill takes more time and lashes! Go get lashed up here!

Love the whole staff! Emma the owner when there has the most beautiful smile every time you walk in! The whole entire staff is wonderful! I have gotten my eyelashes done by Linda a lot! She is very good and always so nice! She is just a sweetheart! I always get my nails done by Mimi she always does the best designs and even when I ask for some crazy stuff she does it all for me lol. She has patience, that’s for sure. I have also gotten my nails done by Joanne** she is young and so funny. She was newer but as time went by she is has gotten good, she is not as quick as the others but she is a perfectionist which is really good!
They also do good pedis the pictures posted are all shellac manicures

Poor application… Glued extension to multiple lashes, which causes breakage :(Also applied on blue lashes on me instead of black extensions which I asked for… Disappointing

Fabulash is absolutely wonderful. The people there are so kind, Emma is very courteous at the front desk. Tina and Linda are both amazing on lashes. $ 50 for a fill — mink, silk, or synthetic! My lashes last me the full 3 – 4 weeks and they don’t take off my real lashes, which means they were put on right! The glue also doesn’t sting after, I’ve experienced this at other places and Fabulash does a great job to prevent this.
They recently added a point system that gives you 15% off your next visit and 1 point for every $ 10 spent leading to savings down the road. Perfect solution to keep coming back along with the amazing service. Thank you!

I’ve had lash extensions off and on for several years. I’ve wanted to try mink but it was too expensive at other locations. I’ve had a full set and now a fill from Tina and my lashes look fabulous. Thanks Tina!

I went to get my nails and my pedicure last friday and I’m so disappointed.
The salon is very nice and clean but the pedicure was awful and on my nails I went for shellac to last longer and 2 days later is all chipped. It’s not worth what I paid for $ 53.00 for only two days is ridiculous. I would not recommend this salon to anyone.
Also It bothers me when the staff is talking another language in front if the customers and is obvious they are talking about the customers. The owner should be more strict on that.

I would love to give theses ladies a five out of five, the lashes are amazing, the price for lashes were cheaper than most and equally better quality than most, and the service was pleasant. Sadly, my mani-​pedi was given Saturday and was chipping badly by Monday :(

Dear Fabulash Owners — get someone in there on Sunday’s that can do a fill. you lost over $ 100 from me in sales.

I tried this salon one more time because I had been given a coupon for eyelash extensions. I also wanted to get my nails done at the same time. I was initially booked in the morning, but I was called a few days later and told that was not an available time to come in. Weird. So I rescheduled and arrived on time a few days later. I picked my nail colors (I was hoping they would redeem themselves) and was led into a quiet room to get my lashes done.
I was very impressed with the girl who did my lashes. Tons of talent and experience — my lashes turned out more beautiful than I could have imagined.
My nails turned out the same as last time — below par.
I will be returning for a refill in my lash extensions but never again for my nails.

I have tried all the places around Kirkland, if you want an awesome job and great deal Myano is your girl for lashes!
Its not as peaceful as the other eyelash places are since its in the back of a nail salon, which is why the 4 stars. So you do have to battle the nail polish smell. I was a little nervous when first booking the appointment. The girls that answer the phones do nails and are not that informed on how to answer any questions you have about the lashes. But its not needed with Myano! She knows all the different styles and tricks to awesome lashes. She is the gentlest eyelash tech I’ve had and very polite, I fall asleep though my appointment!

I really enjoyed their services. Despite some negative reviews on their mani & pedi, my experience here was pretty darn good. I went in on a rainy Wednesday morning, 10am, and there was one other customer there. Upon entry, I was impressed by their clean, cute and brand new facility. They also had a wide range of nail colors, probably the best one I’ve seen in the area. Everything from OPI, China Glaze to obscure brands I’ve never heard of. I do appreciate it when all the nail colors are relatively brand new, no formula separations.
After color selections, I sat down to a brand new massage chair that really won me over. You even get to choose your own scrub and lotion! Whaaat?! Two very polite ladies started their work and I walked out of there with a relaxed and pampered disposition. I used a Groupon so it was an excellent deal on top of everything. The only downside was the short, brisk massage. Nonetheless, I will be returning. My advice to other Unilocalers: try going in early, probably weekday/​weekend mornings if your schedule allows. You will not be disappointed.

This is my first time here & I discovered Fabulash thru Groupon. I couldn’t be happier with the service! My tech was completely thorough with my shellac. It was one of those glittery ones that are difficult to get even coverage & he took the time & care to make them look amazing!!! Definitely worth the hour drive from Gold Bar… beautiful salon, friendly employees, & huge color selection! I’ll be back!

So I will start off by saying I realize that this is a lash bar. But they offered nail services so I figured I’d go scope out the place with my room-​mate with a simple shellac manicure. The salon is extremely clean and looked fresh. The woman who greeted us was sitting in the pedicure chair walking around barefoot.
Our shellac nail experiences were so different that we both had to ask each other if we stayed with the shellac at the end. Her manicurist asked her to wash her hands, mine did not. Her’s said she didn’t need a basecoat/​foundation for her shellac, mine did. That’s the tip of the iceberg.
The only common ground that we both shared was that we had been nicked around the nail bed on almost all fingers. The lady I saw (I did not catch her name) actually nicked my pointer finger so bad that it was drawing blood around the nail. She dabbed it with a DIRTY paper towel and then continued doing my nails. I actually had to stop her and tell her that I’m still bleeding and for a clean paper towel. All to which she never apologized (not that was audible) and continued to cut my cuticle around the bloodied area.
I get that it’s 30% off ($ 30 regular price, $ 21 for the grand re-​opening) however I’m extremely turned off with the service they performed.
Overall, it sounds like they do amazing lashes here but ladies I would definitely NOT recommend coming here for nails, even though it looks like nails is a primary service they offer (6 stations for nails).

Fabulash is truly, Fabulous! This is a new location & operation run by the same owners of Myano Nails & Spa of Downtown Seattle (3^rd & Pine). Due to their success and popularity, they’ve expanded to the East side! I have religiously been getting my lashes filled through them for over 6 years and counting. They do a fantastic job, the lash extensions lasts weeks! I’m not kidding, I’ve gone 4 to 6 weeks before needing a lash fill! Another great thing about Fabulash or Myano is that they don’t charge you more if you haven’t seen them for a while. The cost is always the same for a fill, no matter what ($ 50). Obviously if it has been a long time, they might have to charge you for a full set, which is still greatly priced!
I visited the new location today, and am so excited since it’s MUCH closer to home as I live in the north end. I don’t have to deal with downtown traffic or parking garage fees! Fabulash is conveniently located right off of I-​405, Exit 18. It’s in a strip plaza mall, with tons of parking! The space inside is ultra sleek, hip, with chic feminine touches. The mood lighting throughout enhances the relaxing environment and still keeps it cozy. Everything is new, and freshly decorated. The wall of nail polish colors is amazing, good luck in deciding on just one!
Mai did a great job with my lashes, as always! She’s actually the owner, and original lash artist, as she is the one that trains every other lash extensionist after her. She spent an hour & a half on just filling my lashes. She’s detailed and meticulous in her craft to enhance your eyes. Truly professional, Mai is as sweet as can be, and I feel so comfortable with her! I’m always wowed when I open my eyes after the appointments =)
