My loyalty to the Invisible Fence company has been restored, and the problem of early failing batteries was more than resolved by their customer assistant person Jan. You may have read my previous review about failing batteries and one of their people’s absolutely rigid response to a serious safety situation. That, too, I’ve been assured, will be resolved with some additional training. I so value companies who truly stand behind their products and work to resolve any issues. These are like old friends whom you trust and they are not too numerous.

Since 2004, I’ve been a loyal IF customer for four dogs. The original 2004 wire fence and house receivers have functioned without a problem, but past two 3-​month periods, batteries failed about half through the third month. A serious concern since property on a corner lot, on a hill with speeders going up and down and about 40 dog walkers a day.
A testament to the powers of Unilocal as well as to the IF company policy of taking great care of their customers, Jan responded on Nov 10^th to the Oct 22^nd Unilocal review with an offer to replace batteries every two month until situation resolved, a visit from the head local field technician that Friday to test receivers and batteries, so the problem would be resolved – at no charge to me.“If there is anything else we can do to ensure you are happy with the plans and that your pets are safe, please let me know.” is what Jan wrote at the conclusion. My dogs, now, are safe, and they have a most loyal client back in their midst. Thank YOU IF and your banner goes back up in my front yard!

The Invisible Fence product is a good one, but the customer service of the local franchise is terrible. It is difficult to get responses from the trainers. They are skilled and good with dogs but hard to contact. When we had a power outage, our fence stopped working. The technician who came said it was ‘likely ’ a break in the line but could not show us the break. There was no indication that the soil had been disturbed, and there were no rocks that could have harmed the line. It was clearly a fault in the equipment related to the outage, but they could not charge us for the service call unless there was a ‘break in the line.’ When the break he supposedly found was replaced by new cable, he did not even bother to bury the cable. When we called to explain this we were told there would be an extra charge to re-​bury the cable! Overall, this product works well but the company needs to work on its policies and service.

I called Invisible Fence because the rechargeable battery on the Indoor Avoidance System that I bought from them was starting to have trouble keeping its charge; I wanted to replace the battery.
*****They refused to sell me the battery, instead offering to sell me a whole new unit for over a hundred-​something dollars!!!*****
They said it was not possible to replace the battery! I called twice to make sure that the first person was not just confused about what I wanted to buy: a new battery. Same answer.
I opened the top by unscrewing the three screws and have the battery in my hand. I then called and canceled my service contract with Invisible Fence.

These guy“s were great. Thought I might need a new collar transponder, but they check it and found batteries I was using were causing the problem (cheaper online batteries, avoid them) sold me Invisible Fence brand and reset both my dogs collars to correction level I wanted for free. Also told me I had a life time warranty on the transponder if I did need one. Both Sandy and Georgia were very helpful. I m changing the boundary settings of they yard and Georgia gave me her card and told me to call if I had any questions.
So glad I used these guy’s!

I’d spent days laying on my back with a stapler gun, chicken wiring our yard fence. Our 2 monster dogs (minuture schnauzer and a schnoodle) would always find a way to get out. Then we’d spend days trying to trick them by coaxing them out of the yard. After we found the excape route, we would repair it again. This happened about every other day. Then we got smart and ordered an Invisible Fence. The training and installation was professional, friendly and they were good at what they did. It is so nice not to worry about our babies getting hit on the road. I’m thinking of getting a collar for my husband.

We had our invisible fence installed about a year ago and these guys were great. They went above and beyond in installing it and making sure that our puppies were comfortable and safe, including repeated visits to our WAY out of the way home for additional training sessions. They’re always helpful and friendly and have a ton of useful information.
King County recently broke our invisible fence line for no apparent reason and Randy came all the way out to our house to show us how to fix it so that we wouldn’t have to pay to get it repaired. Such a nice guy, such great customer service!!! I highly recommend them to everyone and recommend that other customer service companies watch Invisible Fence NW on how to treat their clientele… such wonderful customer service is rare these days.
