The founders of Lady Bugs have been in the Pest & Termite industry for over 30 years. The Lady Bug idea was born from a kitchen stool in 2006. They did not open a Termite & Pest control company with the name until early 2010. Since then Lady Bugs has been committed to giving back to our community and spreading the Lady Bug luck throughout Southern California. We hope to become everyone’s favorite bugs.

Business Owner

Diego has been in the pest & termite industry since 1979. He had the privilege of working with many great industry specialist in his youth.

He spent a few years as a bee keeper, gaining knowledge on their habits. He specializes in environmental treatments as well as rodent control, bee emergency services & insect control. He is currently very passionate about termites and all of their interesting habits.

He enjoys crossword puzzles and has been married for 32 years and has 3 children.

I have to say that I am very surprised by some of the reviews based on my interaction with the technicians, admin staff and owner. I called for a water bug problem. Ya, roaches… don’t judge me. At any rate, I have had them out here several times and we kept seeing some dead and some alive. Diego came out to inspect the area himself and showed the technician where to treat. They have called me and followed up on everything. They have really done everything that they know to do. I paid them and they keep coming to retreat until we get these things extinct (if that is possible). I make it a point to support small business’s and this is a family run business. I honestly have never had a better experience with a business owner and his staff. They accommodate my schedule to the best of their ability and I know I have been difficult because of how many times I have had them out. The problem is getting better and things are going in the right direction. I just want to say thank you to Diego and his entire staff. If you need someone in the killing business, I would call Lady Bugs.

I wish I could give zero stars. Call ladybugs if you want your home infested with ants. They came out to fumigate an area in the front of my house that was heavily populated by ants. Instead of fixing the issue, I wound up with an ant infested house. When I called them to have someone come out to fix the problem, they said the earliest they could have someone come out was the next day. Thanks ladybugs. Thank you for giving me an ant farm in my house!!!

DO NOT use this company of you value your belongs! Used service first time, sprayed outside and inside for ant and spider prevention. In ordee to spray thr inside you MUST leave the house. The man that preformed the service stole my watch and an expensive pair of earrings. No mistake I’M positive that this happened. I called and spoke to the owner and he told me to call the police if I had a problem. He was not the least bit interested in hearing what I had to say and told me «it will turn up, it’s usually a family member in these cases». I told him I live alone! Bottom line, his people are NOT insured or bonded. Don’t let them in your home! USE A DIFFERENT COMPANY! NOT THIS ONE!!!

What a breath of fresh air! I called Lady Bugs after finding these strange tiny little critters in my downstairs bath and hallway. Jamie was so helpful and calming on the phone and after sending them a photo of the bug, put me in touch with their tech Diego who was able to immediately identify what they were and tell me not to worry. You have to know, I am freaked out by any bugs in my home but after speaking to Diego felt assured that he would take care of me and them. Through our phone call he helped walk me through the process of finding out where they were coming from and how to immediately get rid of them before he could get out to spray. He was right! They were brought in with the bird seed from the market that I store in the garage.
After doing the step by step Diego suggested in my garage I was able to rid myself of these little beasts and therefore was able to cancel my spraying appointment this morning. Jamie was very kind and happy I was able to do this on my own and said that they would be there if I needed them in the future. No pressure, no scare tactics, only great service!
I highly recommend Lady Bugs. I’ve not come across a company in a very long time that was willing to help me and not make a dime! Great friendly service is all I can say.
If these little buggers come back you can bet I’ll be on the phone asap with Lady Bugs!

I’m very disappointed. I didn’t want to write a bad review but I can’t let it go.
I paid Diego and his team to get rid of the rodents in the attic. They failed to catch any. I paid them to seal all holes for possible entries. It’s additional charge.
I still hear those rodents scratching my walls at night. OMG! What a waste of money and time. The stress of reminding them to come out and check the non-​working baits!!!
I surely overpaid them.

Made an appointment with lady bugs to find out where an odor was coming from in my tenants house, we figure it could be a pest problem. They came out on time, very professional and honest. It turned out we didn’t have a pest problem and I explained my situation of the odor the tenants are experiencing and all the people I have had to come out and correct the situation but can’t find out what’s causing it and Diego and his son where very helpful and referred me to someone who could possibly help me, I thought that was very nice, honest of them. I am very happy with their service /​help. I will be calling them again.

I called ladybugs because I was having problems with rats. The lady on the phone was very nice and she helped me schedule my appointments. When the technician came out he set traps near the entrances of my attic and crawlspace and had them taken care of in no time. I also like how when they come in your house they put these things on their boots so they don’t get your floor dirty. I will definitely be recommending this company to my friends.

We used them once and they did a great job, but when we had another swarm in our house, we called to get them out again. They said they weren’t available for over a week and we had swarming termites in our house. They said to «spray with windex» like that would solve it.
We were very disappointed they wouldn’t help us out and provide us reasonable time frame for this, and they very unhelpful attitude of too bad that’s all we can do.
we ended up using another company and will not be using Lady Bug again. Very sad!

Do not use this company. They do not complete work in the way they indicated. I was told that my home would be rat proofed from the inside. But they did it from the outside and it looks very sloppy. Some of it has already fallen apart and they sealed my water heater shut. But when you call the company and let the owner know about it, they claim they never said that. Once again lousy service and sloppy work. What a rip off.
I guess I need to call someone else to fix their mistakes.

I scheduled the termite inspeciton last week. It was supposed to be on Thursday, got rescheduled because of the rain. The lady who helped me to make schedule is Karla. She is very helpful. Today is my inspection day. Diego came in and did a pretty good inspection. And will send me the report tomorrow morning. It is about 1 hour inspection. He also provided the suggestion and the quotes.
I recommand this company. For me, it’s another great help on my house purchasing road. There are lots of stuff are complicated, but Diego and his company make it a little bit easier for me, on this step of termite inspection.

We called lady bugs because of a bug and spider problem we had. They were very nice to talk to and work with. They were very prompt in getting out to our house, and very courteous when coming into our home. They took care of the problem and were very thorough.

This review is a little late but hopefully provides useful info for folks who needs someone to help with pest control.
Diego (owner) came out to check for termite inspection — NOT SUBBED OUT TO WORKERS. VERY THOROUGH and was also very considerate when he stepped into our home — he wore coverings for his shoes :) Found a couple of termite spots — both subterranean and dry wood outside and underneath our house. Price quoted was really good + using minimally invasive treatment — no pressure from Diego and told me to call him if I wanted him to do the job. Also sent me a full report that evening with details of his inspection. Had another company come out for a second estimate — $ 500 more!
Called Diego and he came and did an excellent job. Told him the other company found another spot outside and Diego took care of that without extra charges. Also gave two-​year warranty instead of 1. HONEST AND HARDWORKING and thus Highly Recommended :)
