I couldn’t say enough good things about this place. It was the only local place that was open on a Sat. afternoon. The owner is very knowledgable and so incredibly nice. I highly recommend him!

Will wasted an hr of my time on a useless key he charged me $ 100 for. He refused to give me a discounted price for it, too. A key a professional in the business for 21 years should’ve known not to make in the first place: I had another automobile locksmith look at my car immediately after him and he knew right away that without the key code and a key with a chip in it, my car wasn’t going to start. He never turned the ignition with the key Will made. I was told that it’s useless and if I tried to start the car with it it would damage my engine. I told Will before he came over that my car needed a key code, he said he would take care of it. Not only did he not take care of it he adamantly denied my ever telling him that the job consisted of him needing a key code, or ignition code, or computer code (whatever, I used all three terms just to be safe even though it can only mean one thing one way or the other). So, there you go, Iearn from my mistake, if your car key needs a key code try another locksmith who has key code contacts and can look it up there on the spot. Just try another locksmith, someone more reasonable. I wouldn’t even care to leave a bad review if he just listened to me and understood what he did wrong and met me at least halfway on the price.

William was very professional and easy to work with. We called him to have all doors on our new home re-​keyed to one master key. He came out the same day and not only fulfilled our needs, but he also repaired two locks that were a bit difficult to use. I thought the doors had warped, but the locks were the culprit.
We have already provided William’s contact information to our realtor so he can be used for all of his clients.

Called Kwikeys for an emergency lock issue on our main front doors at 7 pm and William came to the rescue! He is very helpful during the process of fixing our lock and he also explained what was wrong with it and why it happened. It took about an hour for him to fully fix it. I like how he wasn’t really rushing eventhough it was already dark and you can barely see the lock and mechanism since it was our main door. I will definitely recommend him to my friends and family!!! Exceptional service!

William was very great and re-​keyed all the locks in my new house. I didn’t even have keys for 3 of them and he was able to match them to a key that I had already.
Don’t hesitate to call him. Very professional but laid back. He’s good with dogs too because my puppy wouldn’t leave him alone when he was re-​keying my back door.

Yikes! Monday morning dash out the door and I lock myself out of the house, without my house key and car key! My sweet neighbor and gardener tried to help me out but without avail. Called a advertised «LAKE FOREST» locksmith, was guaranteed a 20 minutes wait and great price!
A hour later, still waiting for this guy, I call him and he says he’s stuck in traffic on the 5. I said What? you said you were in Lake Forest and it would take 20 minutes! Oh no, he says I live in Santa Ana. I said ‘How much is your services then?’ it was 3x the amount advertised on his website. Unbelievable! Another wonderful neighbor then recommended Kwikey’s Lock and Key. I called and was told they would be there within 10 minutes and quoted a reasonable charge. William was at my house within 5 minutes! He was very nice, quick and impressed me with his professionalism. He even handed out a couple cards to my impressed neighbors! Thank you William for making a stressful situation a lot less stressful!

I got the vm at Kwikeys but the wife got through in a «city minute» a little while later. I guess she really is the «city girl» and I am the «country boy» (okay, «suburbs boy»). Anyway, we were having some construction work done in our condo community and the wife was re-​keying our Smart Key System by Kwikset. She did something out of order per the instructions and suddenly the dead bolt stopped working.
When my wife connected with William he said he’d be out in 30 minutes. Ala Domino’s style he was there as promised. He expertly navigated through the chaos which was a congested alley where many condos (ours included) were being repiped. He was efficient, thorough and ended up giving me money back because he initially did incorrect math (based on how many locks were worked on and number of keys made) on the work performed.
He explained how sensitive these particular smart keys are and that they really should be handled by a pro in regards to re-​keying the locks. Additionally, he said your everyday Lowe’s or Home Depot copy of a key used in these locks will — «not cut the mustard» and cause similar malfunctions in the lock system.
William is personable, prompt and fair… all great characteristics in someone you’re doing business with.

Fast, courteous, fairly priced & far exceeded my expectations for great customer service. Others are a rip off, change pricing once they arrive but not this great biz… honest & affordable! Doesn’t get any better than that!

WOW! I was pretty impressed with the service. Mine was not an emergency, but the guy came out within an hour and a half to change the locks on my house. He was friendly and fast. I felt the price was fair for the service.

On my way out to run errands, loaded up the babies in the car and ready to go… Luckily, I had a spare key in the car (without a house key attached) so I was locked out of my house! I quickly called William, and he literally came to our home in Irvine so fast! The garage door is a «fire door» which William then explained to me what/​why they installed this door and why it locked me out…

William is my knight in shining armor! He rescued me today when I accidently got locked out of my home. I called Kwikeys Lock and Key, and within 25 minutes William arrived at my home (in Irvine) to get this damsel out of distress. Demonstrating nimble skill, he quickly got the locked door open.
The service van Wiilliam drives is well stocked with trade equipment, and impressively well organized.
Hopefully, I won’t lock myself out again anytime soon, but if I do, William is my man. He is an excellent locksmith, professional, friendly… and chivalrous.

I called William at almost 7PM and he was at my house in less than 30 mins! He is the friendliest man you ever meet and willing to go the extra mile to help a customer. I will not use anyone else from now on.

I, like an idiot, accidentally locked myself out of my house one morning when I was leaving for work. Panic-​striken, I called Kwikeys Lock & Key. Within 10 minutes, he arrived and easily opened the front door for me. Very prompt, professional, and easy. Sweet man too!
I wouldn’t call anyone else for locksmith issues. Best locksmith around!

I called kwieky’s Lock and Key to get a quote for a rekey service and installation of a new lock.
Right of the bat I knew William (the owner) is a straight shooter and he was not trying to sell me a raw deal.
William knows his trade and he cares about the quality of his service. He was on time and his rate very fare. I was very satisfied with the service and will definitly use him in the future.
I highly recommend William, you will be very happy with his service.

I was locked out but William came within 15 minutes and I was locked out no more. Not only was he able to get me in quickly even though I had a safe key lock, he installed a brand new lock and even made two spare keys so I don’t have to call him again. William has skills and is very affable.
I recommend locking yourself out just to meet him.

Had my old lock rekeyed and William was very up front and helpful with my request. His prices are the most reasonable especially if you take the lock to him instead of him going to your location. Easy location since it’s close to the Asian buffet. You just have to call ahead to make sure he is at his lake forest location and not on a customer service call.

I was referred to him by both Locksmith Mobile Service & Home Depot! he is fast, friendly, profession & affordable. I just finished refinishing an old roll top desk that had a lock, but no key for the lock. I brought in the lock, and he was able to make me a new key, and it was ready the very next day.
I am even going back to him again for another key.

to follow up, we did go back, got more keys made, and would again in a heart beat!
