I’ve taken my car in twice. Best service I’ve ever had. Dropped it off at 8am both times the car was back before 3pm. The last time I was expecting what Ford had quoted me for one repair plus more for the second one. The check engine light was one. When Larry called my total was way less than what I expected. Thank you Larry.

Wish I could give 6 stars! He’s HONEST and FAIR and GREAT PRICES. Oil change for my car was $ 40 and he included an inspection in the price. He ended up finding a few things wrong with my car that made it not worth it to me to keep. instead of doing the oil change anyways he called me and told me everything and in the end charged me $ 0! He actually recommended I not fix it which is money lost for him in the short run. Good idea on his part because he just earned a customer for life! Also he gave me a ride home from the shop which was super nice of him. SERIOUSLY A GREAT GUY AND A GREAT MECHANIC 100% HAS MY RECOMMENDATION!

Happy I found this shop. I have old trucks and it is hard to find shops to work on them. Very honest and fair prices … What else can you ask for?

Took my vehicle an hour before closing! Larry was able to accommodate me right in and inspect a grinding noise coming from the front vehicle/​which I suspected to be the breaks. Turns out to be right my front breaks were literally done for! Larry was able to replace the pads and save my rotors all for a better price than what the other places were quoting me. Professional, honest, courteous, everything you look for in an auto service shop. Alllll for the perfect price! If I could give 10 stars I really would. Thanks Larry. Recommending this shop to anyone having trouble with their vehicle.

As if a Monday after a holiday isn’t hard enough, I got in my van to head to work the Monday after Thanksgiving weekend and the thing was running like Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. I drove straight to my regular mechanic and he said he couldn’t even look at it until Wednesday. NO! I use my van for work, three days without it means three days without pay. My mechanic gave me Larry’s card and said he was a good guy and a great mechanic. Both were true. I showed up at Larry’s and he was swamped but told me if I could leave it with him he would do his best to have it done by the next morning. While we were talking he asked one of his guys to check the tires and oil, I thought that was a nice touch, since that wasn’t what I was there for but you rarely find a gas station where checking those things is easily done. Larry and his wife in the office were very friendly and polite despite how obviously busy there were. Larry called me a couple hours later and told me the trouble was an ignition coil and it was easily fixed. I had my van back by the end of the day and it’s running better than ever. The rates seemed very fair. Based on my experience I would definitely recommend them.

Larry to the rescue again! I got to work and noticed one of my tires was completely flat so I called Firestone for some silly reason and they wanted to charge me an arm and a leg and then have me leave my car… I don’t have time for that! I should’ve called Larry first… he got me in right away and fixed my tire and got me back on the road for such a very reasonable price! You’re amazing! Thank you Larry!

Left my car here around noon and was told i would be called with an estimate within 2 hours. I call them after not recieving a call and they reply «huh i guess it has been 2 hours, give me 15 minutes» then they call me in 30 minutes to tell me they were «charting untreaded waters» and could not give me an estimate. I felt as though my time was wasted even though they claim I wasted their time. However, im glad i decided to take my car elsewhere because I would not want a mechanic working on my car if they are «charting untreaded waters»

Got there this morning to get a standard oil change done with the Mobil 5000 and OEM Filter I brought in for my wife’s vehicle. Wife tag along too because she had to go to the DMV appointment afterwards. $ 15 for the labor. Cash is preferred, but he does take plastic.
Larry asked me how I heard about his shop and I told him through Unilocal.
Larry is a knowledgeable mechanic and he might be the mechanic I’ve been looking for the longest time in the 562 area code. The reason I say that is because of the mechanics I’ve dealt with in the 562 area code have been sub par and not worth coming back to. Hopefully I’m a repeat customer for this shop here because he’s local and I don’t have to travel far when time is an issue. I use to travel 50 miles just to get an oil change because I did not trust anyone in the 562 to do it. They would mess it up somehow.
He also checked the transmission fluids, checked the brakes with a flashlight, and advised me the washer fluid was low. He also made sure the oil on the oil plug stick was at the full mark. He said that if I’m at the half way mark on the oil plug stick, then I would need to pour in a ½ qt of oil to get it back to the full mark or so. If I’m nearly on low mark on the oil plug stick, than I would need a full quart to bring it back up to the full mark. This is good info to know.
I also spoke to Larry about oil change intervals and the type of oil one would need to use. I feel comfortable talking to him while he’s working on the oil change.
I will be coming back very soon to get my own vehicle’s fluids done.

Great, reliable, pleasant guy! We are not from the area and our car had an unexpected problem and Larry was there to help. They were already closed but nevertheless he helped get us back on the road. Anyone who lives near would be so lucky to have him as your mechanic.

So happy with Larry and the service! We take have an old Toyota Sequoia and Honda Accord in our family and were exhausted with the deceitful practices of the local dealerships service centers years ago. Whole heartedly agree with the comments about great pricing and fast service. A few weeks back, I went to turn on my car and just about every light came on. I pulled into Larry’s and he not only fixed the problem, but removed several nails, fixed the leaks and rotated the tires. So happy with the service, trust and quality.

Larry at Larry’s auto shop is fantastic! This guy really knows his stuff! Went in just for an oil change, but Larry ended up finding a couple other things that needed some fixing. He didn’t pressure me at all into the extra repairs at all. Great prices and great service! Definitely will be going back and I highly suggest this shop to all my friends and family.

The owner and operator here is great! I have been coming here since the business opened and couldn’t be happier. The mechanic here is always super busy but I will always find time to help you in a rush. Prices are extremely fair lower than most garages and the work is excellent. I honestly can’t say enough nice things about this mechanic and I am happy to have found him. I would recommend my friends and family here and have.

I had a great experience with Larry on replacing the engine on my 1984 Corvette. My regular mechanic declined to take on the project do to the complexity and recommended Larry. I called Larry and he gave me a very competitive quote. The engine was ordered and just prior to its arrival I brought the Corvette to Larry’s shop. Larry pulled the old motor and did a great job cleaning up and organizing the engine compartment prior to the new installation. While we had the motor out, Larry replaced the rack and pinion unit and radiator. He also re-​built the steering column. Larry transferred re-​usable components from the old engine to the new and completed the installation. A number of issues came up during the work which Larry handled beautifully. Car drives and runs great. Larry was very responsive to my questions and concerns. His pricing was very reasonable. Definitely I will be going back to Larry in the future.

Great local shop. The owner and his wife was very nice and friendly. I like to spend my money locally and this is a great place to do it.
