I live in Brooklyn, NY and anyone who lives in that borough or New York City as a whole knows the wars you experience with side street parking. As such, I suffered a cracked and scratched bumper to my 2013 Nissan Altima from an anonymous fellow New Yorker.
After looking at the list of Nissan affiliated, as well as certified, auto body shops, I decided to take my baby to Precision Auto Works and trust me they are more than worth the abundance of 5-​star reviews you see listed for them on Google and Unilocal.At first, I though with that many 5-​star reviews there must be a bunch of fake reviews but I can guarantee you that these guys are the real deal.
After only a week of work, they did such an amazing repair that the bumper looked better than when it came from the factory in regards to the paint finish and texture finish since the crack has completely disappeared as well as the scratch. My biggest concern was matching the paint color with the factory OEM paint color and the paint match they did was as good as you can possibly find.
I am someone who is very detailed-​oriented and trust me when I tell you that the repair they did was really incredible. You might find that their price is slightly higher when comparing them to other well rated auto body shops, but if you want the repair done right and with the highest level of quality then trust me they are more than worth the price.
The experience I had with Precision Auto Works is by far the best experience I can remember having with any company in regards to quality, customer service and professionalism.
Firstly, they worked with me to find the best possible solution so that I could pay the lowest amount possible since I was paying out of pocket. I want to give a special thank you to Chris Epperson for guiding me through the best option for getting the repair done at the best price for me.
Secondly, they kept me updated with the progress of the repair and provided me with pictures of the progress and also followed-​up with me after I picked up the car to verify that everything was good. They also detailed the car thoroughly after completing the repair.
Thirdly, everyone there was so welcoming and professional that it was shocking based on the stories you hear about people dealing with auto body shops. They make you feel like you are really in good hands and after going through the process, from beginning to end, believe me you will be in GREAT hands with Precision Auto Works.

I usually do not leave reviews for businesses but there are always exceptions when you find such a gem. The best experience I have ever had with any auto body shop. Bruce and George from Precision has been very communicative throughout the whole process. He supplied updates regularly, along with pictures from the day the car was left at the shop until the day I picked it up. When I got to the shop the car was restored back to perfect factory condition. You could not even tell the vehicle was involved in an accident. These guys are the best and the real deal! Their work speaks for itself and they’re very professional with the way they conduct their business. I would 100% recommend them to anyone in need of a good, and honest auto body shop.

Fantastic work. VERY professional. Bruce kept me informed throughout the whole process, and even sent photos throughout the process. It’s a relief to find a shop that you can trust to get the job done with professionalism and expertise.

Amazing service. From the moment we pulled our car into the garage for an initial estimate to delivery, it was impeccable service. We inquired at another garage in NYC that never even bothered to follow-​up with us to provide an estimate. Precision is clean and you can tell they care about their work. George, the owner, and Bruce, the service writer were great. We got e-​mail updates and pictures of our car (a Porsche) throughout the process, every day. They made working with our insurance, Geico, very easy. They are conveniently located, practically under the 59^th Street Bridge in LIC, an easy stop on the F train when you are without your car. Don’t hesitate to bring your car to Precision. Thanks for the great job!

Absolutely fantastic. I came two separate times for a NYS inspection and a photo inspection; everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. I was in and out the door in about ten minutes both times, and they even mounted my front license plate holder for me. I’d DEFINITELY recommend going here.

I came to these guys mainly because they are just down the street from my apartment, but it was a fantastic choice. Val has been incredibly helpful from moment one. He worked closely with me and an insurance adjuster to make sure everything was handled perfectly and affordably. I will be going to them for everything from here on out.

I found Precision last year when I was working in a commercial space near their 9^th Street location. Since then I have been back 4 times for various maintenance and mechanical issues. They are fair, honest, and competent – they give you the whole picture and don’t try to jack up charges or sell you stuff you don’t need.
They recently opened a 2^nd location on 46^th Rd. pretty near the Vernon/​Jackson stop on the 7 train which is convenient for me when I need to leave my car. I have mostly dealt with Val and Michael there, both very polite and professional.

Being that this was the first car accident I had in 20 years, I was a bit at a loss as to what to do. So I Unilocaled it and came across Precision. I read the reviews and I have to say… they were all SPOT ON.
Guys are great — helpful, transparent and kind. And my car? Looks better than before I had the accident.

I’ve never had an experience like this with anything having to do with a car; buying, selling, repair. My car was the definition of a wreck when I brought it in and pristine when I retrieved it.
Bruce saved the day. He took complete control when I brought the car in. From dealing with the insurance company, to the adjuster, to even arranging to get me a rental car.
Never once in the almost 3 weeks it took to fix the car (it was in terrible shape) did I have to call in to get an update. Bruce would send me regular updates along with pictures of what stage the car was in.
I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. I hope I never have to go back there again for the same reason I did this time, but lord knows if I had to I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I brought my 2005 Mini Cooper S here for several issues and when I got it back it sounded, felt and handled like a brand new Mini.
I can only give Precision Auto Works the greatest praise.

Man these guys are on point. I had my truck done by them after some douchebag decided to go across my passengers side with a key. Found them on Unilocal and after visiting the ship i knew these were my guys. Truck looks great and the customer service is by far the best of any other shops i dealt with in the past, thanks precision.

I really don’t write reviews that often, but I know that this place deserves it. From the minute I called them, they were responsive, friendly, helpful, and professional. Here is a list of only a few items they did for me:
–They helped me through the insurance process, giving me the right phone numbers and making a very complex process straightforward and east
–They got me a muffin and a coffee from a place down the street. Yeah, I know what you’re thinking, every auto place has coffee. NO! This was not an in stock item, it was hand delivered with a buttered corn muffin and a smile.
–They set up the rental car for me, which could have been a pain in the butt. I’ve done this stuff before, but they called and made sure I was to be picked up by Enterprise when I was ready.
–They sent me progress pictures throughout the process, with descriptions of the work they were doing. They didn’t have to do that, but it made me feel like things were really happening over there, which they were.
–They finished in less time than they expected. I don’t even care if they were conservative about their estimate, it was just nice to get my car back in time!
–They CLEANED THE CAR LIKE IT WAS BRAND NEW. It smelled and looked literally better than when I first bought it. They were cautious and courteous.
–They were friendly when I called and asked stupid questions, and they stayed open for me because I showed up just as they were closing.
–I left the rental car at Precision and they dealt with returning it, which I didn’t have to pay a penny for.
OVERALL, thank you Bruce and the team. It was a pleasant and professional experience, and my new-​feeling car is ready to go yet again!

Undeniably the best service we have received, ever.
Extraordinary craft, skill and cleanliness. They went over and beyond our expectations. The staff is incredibly gracious. They emailed us an estimate the same day, which turned out to be very competitive when we did some estimate shopping. They gave me a ride to the train station to get back to the city when I dropped off the car for repair. They emailed us daily updates with images on the work progress. Met the deadline. Cleaned the exterior and interior of the car and even covered up minor scuffs that were not included in the repair scope. I will absolutely return for future repairs and would without a doubt highly recommend them to anyone in need of repair.
