I have a brand new Passat. I have had to bring the car in multiple times for a variety of issues. Everytime I schedule an appointment they tell me I can have a loaner but when I get to the dealership to drop off the car they tell me they don’t have any and I’m stuck waiting around for hours. 2 weeks ago I brought the car in for a scheduled oil change. I was told it would take 45 minutes. 2 hours and 40 minutes later my car was ready. I was beyond mad. My time is valuable just like everyone else’s. I was even more frustrated when I left the dealership only to find out that my windshield washer pump wasn’t working. It worked on my way to the dealership, they did an oil change and it stopped working. When I called they told me it would only take 45 minutes to fix it and if it was going to be longer they’d give me a loaner. Again… I have been here for 2 hours and no loaner. This place is a joke and I won’t be bringing my vehicle here for service anymore.

I can’t begin to describe how pleased I was with the service department. I brought my 2013 EOS in for some routine maintenance last week, and the whole experience was fantastic! Everyone I encountered during my visit was smiling, and seemed to be enjoying what they were doing, it made me feel extremely welcome! The best part is that I was able to wait while my vehicle was serviced! I will definitely be returning, and recommending Quirk of Manchester to my friends!

Drove in from out-​of-​state to have a routine check-​up performed on my VW. Service department staff was pleasant, patient, and helpful, especially Russ. Much nicer than the VW dealerships near me.

SERVICE DEPARTMENT of QUIRK VW — Scoundrels of the First Degree! The service dept LOVES air conditioning problems, as they go down each and every possible diagnostic path to «discover the problem.» Each trip costs the car owner huge money.
I heard «it could be…» «We can try a re-​charge $ 125, but it could be…»
If THEY are VW technicians, I should not be paying for their techs to learn. In other words, I’m not paying for their techs education any longer. But when you say that to either the new or the old «régime of the svc dept» you force them in to admitting incompetence or fraud. Its an either-​or situation. They would have gladly turned my A/​C repair into an $ 1,000 job (which is what it was becoming). My 14 yo son fixed it with a $ 50 replacement of a valve (the RCV = Refrigerant Control Valve).
They strung me along for two++ years with the doors not locking (and there is NO manual locking feature), promising to «check with the region for some assistance on the repair that we’ve never seen before,» except the internet is full of TDi s with the same exact problem. They eventually said it would cost $ 500 in parts alone.
So Quirk will milk a $ 50 repair into $ 1100, and a common door lock repair into something even greater.

Awful. Customer service was horrible shouldn’t charge for a loaner. When I returned the loaner attempted to charge me for other things. AVOID

Recently purchased a 2012 Jetta from this dealer. I went in multiple times to test drive vehicles as I wasn’t decided on what I wanted. They were patient with me, showed me multiple different vehicles, and went through a couple different buying options. I wouldn’t say I got any kind of killer deal. But, I do have a great warranty, gap insurance, and a car I love for a payment I can swallow. That was the goal all along. I never felt like I was being taken, or misguided. I’d recommend them versus many other places.
Don’t expect much on a trade in though. My previous car had a trade in value of over $ 3,000 on KBB. I’m not stupid… I didn’t expect that number. But they offered me an insulting $ 400. So it’s being sold privately. The tires on the car costed me that! The purchase went well, but they don’t honor real book values on trade ins… or even remotely close.

Went in for an alignment and Jed helped me. He was not very nice.

Girlfriend purchased a new golf at Quirk a few weeks ago. The experience was great. Salesman was nice and spent quite a bit of time with us test driving several cars.
Financial ‘suit’ guy was a little pushy on the extended warranty but eventually backed down.
Overall experience was good.
