History
Established in 1933.
Showcase Kitchens traces its roots to 1929 when Joseph Noto and son Anthony partnered to open a home improvement supply business, located on McDonald Avenue in Brooklyn, New York. Although the Great Depression spread throughout the country during that era, the father-son team worked hard and McDonald Home Center prospered.
John Starck Sr. married Frances Noto in 1970 and joined the family business. After operating at the original location for 70 years, the Starck family relocated to Manhasset, Long Island, and chose to name the company Showcase Kitchens, reflecting the high caliber of work the business represented. The business, serving many customers in the local area, thrived and its success has enabled Showcase to expand to Massapequa on Long Island’s South Shore.
Three generations later, the Starck family is still at the helm.
