We are a team of decorative artists, with services ranging from faux finishes, murals, Venetian plaster, gilding, and more. If you can imagine it, we can paint it! In addition, we can touch-​up and repair any special finish, whether painted by us or someone else. We often touch-​up and repair real wood, marble, stone, and tile surfaces. We make getting the right color easy, by personally tinting the paints for each decorative finish on-​site.

Master’s Touch is owned by Stephen Kallai of Mill Valley, located in the San Francisco Bay Area of Northern California. Stephen started learning the art of decorative painting in 1985 and founded Master’s Touch in 1992. Since then, he has executed literally thousands of faux finishes, including faux marble, wood graining, stencils, venetian plaster, murals, gold and silver leaf, and much more. His work has appeared in numerous magazines including Architectural Digest and House Beautiful. He brings extraordinary skills of color matching, color design, and faux finishing, to homeowners, interior designers, architects — anyone who needs a special finish that simply has to be perfect.
