Specialties
Lucky Stripes Photography provides portrait photography services to clients in King and Snohomish Counties. Photographer Jessica Christian is based out of Mukilteo, but portrait sessions take place at an agreed upon location, usually different for each client.
I have a minimal-retouching philosophy, and a belief that everyone has things that make them special and unique, inside and out. These things aren’t to be photoshopped away; embrace your unique and lucky zebra stripes. My photography is photojournalistic in nature, and I try to make sure my clients are comfortable and having fun; that’s when the most genuine smiles appear!
Sessions are usually outdoors (although can be indoors under certain circumstances), are very affordable, and best of all benefit a good cause! 10% of profits will always be donated to the charity of your choice: Ehlers-Danlos National Foundation, the Global Genes Project, or Dysautonomia International.
History
Established in 2008.
I have had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember. But in 2006, I got ahold of my first DSLR, and started doing photoshoots for my friends. I developed an interest in capturing the human spirit. In 2008, I started Jessica C Photography. The name changed in 2013 to Lucky Stripes Photography, after doing a lot of soul-searching and overcoming my own insecurities about the illnesses I face. This is why 10% of each session goes to 1 of 3 charities that are very dear to me. My philosophy in life is «Every day may not be good, but there is something good in every day.» I try to capture the beauty of life, and I love doing it.
