Asprey

I went into this Asprey location to look for engagement ring last Dec. I was very interested in their rings. I’d give their limited selection of rings high marks, however, the same cannot be said for the sales lady I encountered. I was asked what my fiancé did for a living, what I did for a living & other questions along those lines. Not a nice way to be profiled & certainly stupid on her part.
I called up the Asprey store in Boston & dealt w/​the sales person up there who was very nice. If I want anything from Asprey in the future I will call Boston as good service deserves a commission. Ultimately, we didn’t purchase w/​Asprey.

Watch fell apart twice in 4 months and had to be returned twice. I thought the customer service was VERY poor. First time took 2 weeks and a chase up call by me to get the watch back. Second time I called and went to the store 4 days later and the response from the sales assistant was he wrote my message in the book!!! If a customer has a fault product for the second time may I suggest you contact them as a priorty!
Won’t be going back!
The store is beautiful, shame that style and service do not match.

I know I’m a sucker when I pay $ 300 for an umbrella but this is the most damn beautiful thing I have on a rainy day. I just had to. So now, I don’t lose my umbrella since I love it a lot.
You know the Brits love to mark up their prices and I always fall prey to pretty packaging and shopping bags. Asprey is foremost known as jewelers to the royal family but there is an array of leather goods too. Yes, it’s snotty but once in awhile, I like to have something nice that is sturdily made. They lost their lease on 5^th Avenue (that store was like a grand hotel) and have pitched a tent on 57^th st… but they’ll be at a real address soon, somewheres UES.

Lord Foster designed this flagship UK retailer. a purveyor of jewelled goods to the House of Windsor. From a design perspective it is an amazing well done interior despite being its locale. The SKUs here are very high priced. Expect to be in shock and awe of their price points; some amazing and interesting designs though.
