Every butler box or your own items are bar-coded and tracked online. Through your personal portal you can log in and see exactly what you’re storing so you can have returned what you want, when you want it. You can even upload pictures to keep a visual inventory directly from your online portal.
We have changed the face of Self Storage — never schlep your stuff to a storage unit again while keeping your home organized so you can make space for living!
HOW IT WORKS:
1) We drop off eco-friendly boxes and wardrobe containers to your door.
2) You fill them up.
3) Your Butler picks up your stuff for storage in our climate controlled warehouse. That means air conditioned in the summer and heated in the winter.
4) You view everything you store online so you can order back what you need, when you need it.
We also pick up and store other items including your own containers, record boxes, furniture, bicycles, air conditioners, skis, and more.

History
Established in 2007.
Founded by lifelong New Yorker, Scott Sinclair, The Box Butler started because Sinclair did not have the time to travel to a mini storage location every time he wanted to get his winter/summer clothes, holiday decorations and other items out of storage. The hassle of packing in the house, loading up the car and driving to the mini storage facility just took too much time and was very inconvenient. Not to mention being there alone… When Sinclair tried to find a service that would pick-up and deliver whenever he needed his stuff — none existed. From the financial service industry, Sinclair left the corporate world to apply the same service platform to the storage industry and founded Box Butler. Since opening, business has been robust with an ever growing satisfied client base who are amazed at the care and professionalism applied to storage and keeping their lives organized.

Business Owner
Scott, a New York City resident was looking to start his own business. With over 20 years in the Financial Services industry Scott wanted to apply his experience delivering a high level customer service experience in the business community to the consumer marketplace. Being a user of mini storage, Scott saw a gap in the ease and accessibility of getting his stuff back and forth and he set out to deliver high end service with safe, secure and easy access. He launched The Box Butler in 2007. His custom designed containers can be delivered to apartment dwellers to be packed and locked in the comfort of home. He then set out to build a team of delivery professionals who are articulate, polite and have an upbeat and happy personality making the job and the company a fun place to work. Since inception the business is growing and fan base increasing with every new client!
