Corinthian Diagnostic Radiology

Unlike the experiences of other reviewers, my experience could not have been better; appointment within 24 hours, no waiting on-​site, 3 different tests (Xray, MRI, CAT) ran quickly, I was in and out in a matter of minutes. The best imaging experience I’ve ever had.

the office staff are very nice but Dr St Loius is just unprofessional, crude, cocky and has terrible bedside manner. FYI if you are a female you are in a room alone with him for a procedure which is ethically wrong. Especially when he makes crude comments. He is rough and doesn’t explain what he does and when you ask questions he gives wise cocky answers. As a fellow medical professional he shows no compassion even to go as far to belittle my pain. I suffer every day since being in a Mva have has 2 major surgeries and face a life of pain. How dare he tell me that no one has that much pain. Just awful. As a medical professional I would never go back there

If you have the dubious luck of having to have a myelogram then by ALL means– and no matter what– make sure you insist your doctor send you to Corinthian Diagnostic to have Doctor St Louis and his team do the test. This extraordinary man has a very rare and precious blend of knowledge, caring, humor, laser sharp focus and wit which soothed me and entertained me during a very tough situation. If you must take a test as unsavory as this– (spinal tap plus contrast injection) you will certainly want to get a human being conducting it who is perfectly well rounded– Perfect hand eye coordination, and cares about the whole of the patient lying there prone on that hydrolic table with the needle.
Dr St. Louis and his whole team are adept professionals. The fact that many of the best surgeons in the United States rely on them for correct data was very important in my selecting them. It was clear that they were all focused on excellence. Dell called to prepare me 2 days prior and he took the time to answer just about every question i had about this test and he did it honestly. He was also there when I showed up to guide me again with a smile, a kind word. These things are so comforting when you are faced with Pain and uncertainty. I am so thankful for this.
In summary, whomever is unlucky enough to to be in a position to need the useful data provided by a Myleogram– like me– you ought to go to a place which specializes in this– with a team of individuals who are all working well together and obviously truly are dedicated in what they do. What more could you ask for? I hope I don’t have to go back there — but if I do ever need a Myleogram again– I would not go anywhere else.

I was having spinal surgery, and needed to have some radiology procedures done prior to the surgery. The surgeon recommended Corinthian, so I went there.
Dr. St. Louis performed a complex procedure that required injected contrast material, and I have to say his sense of humor was disarming and charming. I was nervous about having a spinal tap done, but his demeanor diffused the tension of the situation. I was very pleased with him and his skill. The surgeon indicated he did great work when he reviewed the films, and I appreciated that he came to talk with me both before and after the procedure to make sure that everything was OK. As an aside, he has an amazing voice, like James Earl Jones amazing.
My only disappointment with Corinthian was one of their technicians. Prior to the procedure with Dr. St. Louis, I had some simple spine x-​rays taken from multiple angles. The technician was terrible. He had to repeatedly position and reposition the film and me vis a vis the actual x-​ray projector, and each time I was taking more radiation. The film was too high; the film was too low; my chin needed to be higher, etc., etc. What should have been a few quick x-​rays turned into a very long procedure because the tech was incompetent. With each angle or view that was required, the technician made errors. For every position, there were takes and re-​takes, and I was receiving radiation each time. I did not appreciate this at all.
Were it not for the incompetent technician, I would give Corinthian a better rating. However, Dr St. Louis’ skill for the more complex procedure outweighed the technician’s incompetence for the simple procedure for me.

picture this: crowded waiting room, dressed in nothing but undies, a hospital gown, and foam slippers. was this an anxiety dream? NO, this is Corinthian Diagnostic Radiology!
the first time i went, i waited in this lovely outfit in a small changing room until my appt. the second time i returned, i changed into my gown and slippers and was asked to go back in the waiting room with several other patients and their loved ones basically felling like i was baring my bits. at least the 3 other patients had their gowns/​boxers own as well, but i was the only woman so i think it was a bit more awkward for me. it was like some weird hazing ritual.
if you are already nervous for a test or procedure, the last thing you really want is to sit in a public room feeling like you are in the middle of a naked-​nightmare.
(the other strange thing is that they didn’t give me my insurance forms to take home with me to submit when i left. i had to ay upfront but didn’t receive the forms until several weeks later in the mail.)
