I booked Moore’s Moving Express and it has been the best thing I have done as far as moving is involved. Very helpful. Moti visited us and gave us a fixed price quote which was very competitive. the day before our move he called to confirm the move. On the day, three guys came right on time: they packed and moved everything and gave me a lift to the new place. Upon arrival they moved all boxes to the new place and unwrapped the furniture. Very helpful and friendly people. It has been the smoothest move ever. Worth every penny with the level of professionalism and friendly service. Thanks folks!

I have to say, these guys were great. They were early, fast and efficient, total professionalism. They came in and had all my stuff out the door in about 2 hours, and moved in in about another 2 hours with it being a move out to Long Island. They handled everything with extreme care, anything that wasn’t in a box was shrank wrapped and stored securely. I couldn’t have asked for better. I’ve moved a few times within NYC and this was by far my best experience with movers, nothing broken, nothing lost. Would definitely recommend them without hesitation

We used Moore Moving today, to remove items from storage. I am speechless, the nicest movers, ever. Very professional workers. Worked with us, no problems at all. The move was completed in 5 hours, quickly and efficiently.

The movers from Moore Moving Express were extremely efficient, quick and meticulous ! They arrived on time and immediately started working. The packing was quick and the furniture was wrapped carefully. All 3 guys were very polite and professional. I chose the flat rate option but they also offer an hourly rate. They are licensed and insured, I definitely recommend!

I had these guys move me into a five story walk up. Final coast was $ 50 cheaper than the estimate. They were friendly, polite and careful. Would recommend and definitely use again.

They would have received 5 stars except the driver was over an hour late. However, the rest of the experience was great!!! Jermaine and Martin were amazingly efficient and courteous, wrapped everything thoroughly with no furniture damage, and Moti was very prompt in helping me set up the move. Price was very reasonable for end of the month (and I called 20+ other places). I would definitely move with them again!

I never leave reviews for companies, ever. So this goes to show what exceptional work Moore Moving did! First of all, the guys who moved myself and my 2 roommates out of a 5 story walk up were amazing — they worked 5 hours straight in the heat of summer. We had a lot of heavy pieces of furniture that needed to be carried down a very tight stairway and then up 4 more flights of stairs in our new apartment. The guys made sure to wrap all of our belongings in blankets and clear plastic wrap to ensure that they did not get damaged. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in NYC who needs movers that they can trust to get a tough job done! Take my word, they go above and beyond expectations!

Used last month, and would use again in a flash. They’re professional, punctual, nice and very reasonably-​priced. In what I’ve heard is a hit-​or-​miss world of movers, these guys are definitely a hit.

A friend had recommended this company to me, and I’m so glad she did. I was a little annoyed that I had to pay for a minimum of 3 hours, when we were only moving a few blocks away. However, the movers were VERY diligent with our belongings and wrapped everything to avoid any damage. They were also very friendly and didn’t complain about the heat! They took the full three hours, but I’m glad they did because it was not rushed and I really felt like I got my money’s worth. Would definitely consider using them again!

Moores Moving was fantastic and made my move from UWS to Hoboken completely seamless. I posted on CityMove, as I was getting ridiculous bids on my very straightforward studio to one bedroom move. Like $ 800 offers. Moores came in at half of that and included certificates of insurance, something my building required but most moving companies charge extra for ($ 60 worth of extra!).
Day of the movers showed up early and had my furniture wrapped and bundled quickly. They were efficient, professional, and just all around good guys. I can’t recommend Moore’s moving enough!

Moore Moving helped me and my roommate move out of our Midtown apartment to a place further west in Manhattan. Sergio gave me a call as they were arriving to find parking around my place, and he and his team were very efficient and careful with our things. They finished packing up our stuff within a couple of hours, and then the move into the new place took about an hour. The team wrapped up all of my furniture, disassembled bed frames and tables, and threw in a couple of garment boxes for free. My roommate and I were so impressed with their overall work– we had a few more things than anticipated but they were extremely gracious with moving the extra items. They were also patient in waiting for moving logistics to be set up in each apartment, and were communicative about timing throughout the process. For the price we paid in the middle of a busy moving season and the stress-​free service we received, I was very impressed and would recommend Moore Moving for anyone looking to move within the city!

Moving is stressful. Lucky for me I went with Moore. We were moving out on a Monday which happened to be the first day of the month and also coincided with five other families moving out from our building. Even amidst so much foot traffic our guys from Moore were quick, experienced and friendly. Their rates are also very good. Our move was done in three hours. Highly recommended.

This moving company was amazing. Led by Gary and 4 other guys, my move on the upper east side was easy and quick. This group carefully wrapped all of my furniture and everything arrived at my new apartment safely. Would definitely recommend this moving company, and absolutely would use them again!

This company is THE BEST. I used them just yesterday for a move from a studio to a one-​bedroom in the UES (10 block move — but a lot of stuff!) I got a quote within a couple of hours of my first email (the move was a quick turnaround), and I got boxes hand-​delivered the next day to help me prep and pack. The day of the move the guys arrived 20 minutes early (this was after I had to reschedule them three different times due to various factors — they were incredibly gracious and accommodating of my scheduling issues) and were completely DONE in under two hours. Not only that, but they handled all of my belongings with such care. I even had a slightly wobbly kitchen block unit that they fixed for me just because.
Cannot recommend these guys enough. Reliable, very kind and lovely to work with, and do an amazing job. They’re the guys you want if you’re moving on the UES or anywhere in the NY area!

Moti and Danny had me out and in of my old and new place in a flash. They made everything stress free and were both very kind and professional. All for a very reasonable price.
I will DEFINITELY use Moore Moving Express in the future and would recommend them to anyone.

Update: few months ago, I had to move again. Without even thinking about it, I called them and was able to work with them again!
Moti (sorry if I got your name wrong) is super great at responding to any questions. I texted with him most of the time, and he answered all my questions.
On the moving day, the guys came on time (probably few minutes earlier than the actual time) and just got to work. They work really hard. You know how sometimes you see movers being a little lazy and you keep thinking ‘I am paying you hourly so get to work!’ Well, with these guys, you would be like ‘Oh my gosh, all the boxes are gone already?’ (I’m so serious)
I also had a little thing where I was trying to use the coupon, and someone got a little confused and overcharged me. However, after letting Moti know, he fixed it right away and I got my money back. They are just so great at what they do and so amazing! I highly recommend them to everyone!

My boyfriend and I just used Moore Moving Express this past Tuesday to move within Manhattan. Very reasonable price/​flat rate and we were very impressed and pleased with this team of movers and how quick this process was. They even managed to get our huge couch out of one tiny door and in through another! No damage to anything and we couldn’t be happier! We would recommend this company to anyone! Thank you so much!

I used Moore Moving Express a few weeks ago for a move in New York within UES.
Before choosing Moore, I called about ½ dozen places. It turned out, Moore’s price was very competitive and they provided building insurance for free. Also, the fact they have a real physical office on 80^th and York made them seem more legit and more accessible if there was a problem.
After giving Moore a deposit, they sent over insurance papers the very next business day. On the day of the move, they came on time (actually 10min ahead). All the movers were very professional. They didn’t chitchat and just got down to the business of moving right away.
Even though my building had an elevator, the service exit was in the basement which had a flight of stairs to the street level. I didn’t consider this ahead of time, and my boxes were packed pretty heavily. Thinking of it after the fact, I am guy in my prime with good physical abilities, and I would not have been able to carry more than a couple boxes up those stairs. However, I didn’t heard any complaint from anyone.
It took almost 4hrs to move 3-​BR of stuff out due to the stairs. I bought the crew pizza and drinks, which they were very grateful (the 30min lunch was not charged). Actually I had so much stuff, they had to call in another truck, and the owner Moti came, drove the truck and help out himself. But Moti honored the original price, $/​hr for 3ppl, even though there was more people.
All around, it was a great experience. I would not hesitate to use them again.
Remember, tip your movers, the norm seems to be 20% of the total bill, or you can always go higher.
