I am an IT specialist that started to build my computer expertise with DOS over 15 years ago. While in the army, I worked as a network administrator, then moved to New York to work for a small IT service company.

In 2010, I founded NYPC GEEKS, where we focus on a broad range of IT services. Our list of satisfied customers includes restaurants, real estate companies, bars, movers, retail shops and high end smart homes.

My security cameras in my restaurant stopped working for some reason.

Needed to setup my wifi at home but had no idea how to do that.
Called nypc geeks and had somebody came over within a few hours.
Rami setup my wifi in less than 30 min
Also gave me a few tips on how to backup my computer.

So… I own a wine store in Manhattan. I come in Saturday morning to open and lo and behold my PC — which also serves as my register — is as dead as a doornail. Now weekends are typically my busiest days of the week so naturally I start to sweat as I call Dell customer support. After an hour and a half on the phone we diagnose the problem: the power transformer is dead and I need a new one. Keep in mind that this is a Saturday and I need my register to be up and running asap… I am turning away customers… Dell refers me to the NYPC Geeks guy on Christopher St and BAM! .in 15 minutes he has his head under my register and has installed a new power supply. Rami was professional, polite and extremely efficient. Highly recommended is an understatement.

Didn’t feel like paying $ 200 and wasting hours to fix a virus on my computer so I searched around and found NYPC on Unilocal.Glad I trusted everyone else’s reviews. Rami (sp?) was very friendly and knowledgable– he talked me through each step he took to fix my computer. Turns out I didn’t have a virus but some sort of software «took over» my internet– as he explained. He gave me tips for the future on how to not get myself into the same situation again, as well as recommending better software to install.
All in all, my computer was fixed quickly and at an affordable price. If I ever run into computer issues again I will absolutely return to him!

Superior and Quick Service!
Instead of just giving up and buying a new computer, I contacted the Geeks. Saved a ton of money and my computer runs as good as the day it was purchased. Even though I needed hardware replaced, these NYPC Geeks made sure all my data was backed up and reloaded onto the computer after it was fixed. I was informed of each step along the way, and the price couldn’t be beat.

Excellent service! My Dell laptop did not start up so I dropped it off at the west village and a few hours later it was all good to go. They also cleaned my computer from viruses and annoying bugs that I had. Way cheaper than other services I had.
