I can’t say enough about Sach’s Movers. From beginning to end, they were courteous, reliable, and totally true to their word. They made a very difficult situation easier to bear. There were no hidden costs and no drama. They did what they said they would do, on time, and without any problems whatsoever. I plan to use them again, and I cannot recommend them enough. If you need movers, look no further.

They arrived on time, and after a small bit of confusion regarding the item list (I had completely underestimated the number of miscellaneous items we had), we came to a reasonable adjustment to the quoted flat price. They were careful with our stuff, the only victim was a box of mugs, but that was because he was stopping my dog from running into the street. Recommend.

These guys are the best. Super flexible, nice and packed everything up really well. They helped me clean out my dads house and were willing to make multiple trips to the storage unit and donation centers. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a mover. We were in westchester county and they showed up right when they said and moved very quickly and took no breaks. The best movers!

I’ve used Sach’s Movers twice now and going forward, I wouldn’t use anyone else. I have called a lot of different moving companies and Sach’s rates are definitely the most competitive.
They put a ton of effort into properly wrapping and moving my items to ensure nothing was damaged. I just had the walls painted in the new apartment before I moved in and I’m happy to report — no scratches after they left! Additionally, all of the guys are incredibly nice and accommodating. One of them even grabbed a drill and took down a floating shelf without being asked to! It was super helpful because I’m short and I have no doubt it would have been a challenge for me. They also tightened some loose legs on my coffee table and made sure to put everything back together that had to be taken apart for the move — my bed frame, headboard, bookshelves, etc.
I hope I don’t have to move again for quite a while, but when I do, I will definitely call Sach’s Movers again! Highly recommend! Thanks, guys!

Sach and his team did a good job. As others have stated, he brought more guys than agreed and for a longer time. The crew have good attitude, which makes the moving easy. They acknowledged the need for the move to be over by certain time and tried to finish everything by then. It didn’t work, but they really tried. Also, even after the initial estimate, the truck was just barely big enough for the job but they were able to pack everything extremely efficiently (which is also why it took longer to load and unload than originally planned). Double check with them what size truck your move requires after they eyeball your volume. I was on the budget so I think they did a very good job considering all circumstances. I have no complaints and I would use them again and recommend them to others.

Back in March I had the tough decision to move from my apartment that I was born and raised in.
Never really moving in my life other than with a duffle bag over my shoulder from army base to army base, I have to admit it was nothing less than frightening.
After calling a few places and doing some research and of course reading a few reviews which only made it worse. I came across Sachs while I was searching on Unilocal (already a week into my search) it was just by chance. I read on and seen rave reviews. I decided then, this was the place based on my fellow Unilocalers.
I’m happy I did, Sachs was nothing less than professional, they were on time, fast and efficient. They showed respect for my items and more importantly got my stuff to the destination location safe.

As a city dweller, getting furniture into your apartment can be a challenge. And there are only so many times you can ask your friends to haul your stuff for you.
I’ve used Sach’s Movers twice now. They delivered two pieces of relatively heavy furniture up my five-​floor walk up on two different occasions. They delivered on schedule as promised, were nice and handled my furniture with proper care. In both instances, they also wrapped the furniture well so neither piece was damaged en route. Having two good experiences now, I can happily recommend them for your moving needs.

I was moving back from. upstate and drove my u-​haul truck down in the snow it was very taxing. When I arrived Chris was already waiting at the front door Josh appeared in a minute and they got to work. Unfortunately for them my brother in law and I didn’t do the best job packing. They had to unload the truck into the lobby, then bring it all up to my apartment. There were smiles and friendly chats the entire time even helped me set up my bed! By far the best experience in the 20 years I’ve lived in NYC

I read the reviews here when I needed to get a piano moved into the school where I work. Based on the reviews I called. Within 24 hours, the piano was moved and done on time and professionally. (Because we’re a school, they even waived a bit of the fee.)
From beginning to end, I was treated remarkably well. Sach’s wrote the book on how to treat customers. Cannot speak highly enough.

Sach’s movers did an amazing job!!! Based on reviews here on Unilocal he was my first choice, but because he was fully booked the date I originally wanted to move, I talked to a few other moving companies as well, and none of them convinced me like Sach. So I changed my moving date to be able to work with him, and it was so worth it! He came with all the qualities that mattered to me:
1) Trustworthy — I live by myself and didn’t have anyone to help me with the move, so I needed movers that I can trust and that wouldn’t BS me. Sach was the best choice. He’s such a nice guy, I even left them alone with all my stuff because I had to do a quick run to the store.
2) Professional — When I talked to Sach on the phone about my plans, I could quickly tell that he knows his stuff. He helped me put up a bunch of shelfs and paintings in the new apartment and was so professional, knew about the different walls, the beams, the work needed, he came with blankets, tools, and did a great job with everything.
3) Efficient — I really appreciated that Sach actively demonstrated his awareness of that he was working on the clock. He tried to be as efficient as possible, and even squeezed in a last job at the end even though we were already over the time I had booked.
4) Experienced — I had asked Sach’s movers to move my queen size bed from Ikea. From his experience he immediately knew how challenging that would be, gave me some advice but also made me aware of the risks of moving Ikea furniture. I greatly benefited from his experience, they disassembled the bed and carefully put it back together, and everything worked out perfectly.
Huge thank you to Sach and team, I can only recommend him and hope to work with him again one day!

I recently moved from NY to NJ. After reading the reviews carefully as I always do I decided to give these guys a try. Boy, was everybody right. These are the BEST movers in NYC. My fiancé and I moved into a new apartment unit in our building and I was in a panic to find movers that had a good reputation, were inexpensive, and could come last minute. I called Sach the morning of the move, and he was able to accommodate us with movers just a couple hours later that afternoon! Chris and Josh were friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to make sure every single thing was packed up and moved into the new unit safely and efficiently. Incredible job and made our hectic last minute move stress free and organized!

Excellent! Sach’s Movers did a fabulous job. They helped my husband and I move from Flushing, Queens to Washington Heights, Manhattan. Everyone from Sach’s was polite, helpful and hardworking. I recommend them to anyone who needs to move to or from the area.

We recently moved from Washington Heights to New Rochelle and had a great experience with Sach’s from the beginning to end.
To start with, their website is is sleek and clear. When we called for a quote, they responded quickly and were really willing to work with us. We got a great price which even included moving my piano. I was initially nervous to use someone who was not a specific piano mover, but they treated it with care and moved it easily.
The guys, Alberto, Luis, Sach and Josh, showed up right on time (actually a few minutes early!) and were friendly, efficient, professional, and communicative. We had a good time joking around with them and they worked very quickly. When we offered them water and some snacks they were incredibly gracious and thanked us over and over.
We would use them again in a heartbeat and highly recommend Sach’s!

Sach and his team helped my two roommates and I move out of our 3 bedroom from Washington Heights to Harlem. First, the price was GREAT. Sach and his team went above and beyond. They are supposed to provide 3 guys to help with the move — Sach’s team had 5 gentlemen. They were careful with our belonging and made our move smooth, easy, and FAST. It was ALL DONE in under two hours. I suggest Sach’s Movers to anyone moving who needs a hand, They are the way to go, HANDS DOWN!!! I know who to call when my lease is UP!

With two days notice I went on the hunt for a professional moving company to get my stuff from a storage facility in NJ to my new apartment in Stamford ct. Sach’s was available and provided the best price quote. They also were flexible on price and very understanding when we arrived on site and discovered I had way more stuff in storage than I remembered — whoops!
We did have one picture frame break during the move but probably my fault a bit since it wasn’t wrapped or protected properly.
Sach and his staff were friendly and professional and I would hire them for future moves and recommend them to anyone who needs movers in the greater NYC area.

We moved from Philadelphia to Washington Heights and Sach’s Movers were incredibly professional and reasonably priced. We found them on Unilocal and liked that they are from the neighborhood. We had a medium amount of furniture/​boxes, but that included a heavy piano to move to a 4^th floor walk up. We were pretty nervous about being gauged by movers from past experiences, but luckily the movers were amazing.
Ahead of time, Gris provided all of the information we could ever ask for. She gave us a moving window of 11 am — 1 pm for the movers to arrive, which we assumed meant they would be there between 1 — 3 pm as it was snowing and in Philadelphia. They showed up with 4 guys at 11 am and moved us out in about an hour — record time! They went to our apartment in NYC in advance to measure the stairwell to make sure they could get the piano up the stairs and had a piano specialist waiting in case they couldn’t do it. They seemed to really understand how much it meant to us that it wasn’t damaged and did a great job getting it up the stairs — 5 guys and 45 minutes later — really impressive! We thought we would be moving until midnight and they were done before 7 pm — including the trip from Philly to NYC with no hidden fees.
I highly recommend Sach’s to anyone doing a local or out-​of-​state move. We originally thought about renting movers on each side of the move and renting the UHaul ourselves to save money, but it was worth it to work with Sach’s for the entire move for the peace of mind. We also used them for a post-​move cleaning service and are considering their flooring services.

Legit, professional, affordable. Period.
I had Sach’s move a bedroom set I found on Craigslist. They were on time, careful, and knew what they were doing. I rode down in the truck with them and they loaded the whole thing into my apt, even helping put the bed and dresser together where I wanted it.
I’ve had a lot of «moving» experiences in my life, and this is the best in terms of quality and value I’ve ever had.

We recently used Sach’s to move to our new apartment. They said they’d bring two movers but showed up with four! We were moved to our new location 2 miles away within 3 hours. Everyone was courteous and the owner was there to meet us and move in the final piece. The only not so great experience was some scuffs on a few pieces of furniture. It was partially our fault because we didn’t pack or protect these items well (IKEA stuff). Despite this we would use them again and suggest you do. Just be sure you pack or pay them to pack your items well as you would with any move.
