Well, I’m waaaayyyyy overdue writing this review for One Source! Let me just tell ya, there’s something to be said for supporting small family business. When you’ve got a guy, as good as Ray the owner, who runs his business like a dream, you know you’re in for great service! Ray has been «my bug guy» for many years. He truly cares about your business and your service. He ALWAYS returns my calls/​texts promptly, and is always at my house within a very reasonable amount of time to help me with any «pest» problems i’ve had. Ray has nuked the ants on two occasions when they mysteriously invaded the inside of my home seemingly within hours. He’s also eradicated the pesky furry rodent that kept eating everything in my pantry (even though I never laid eyes on that bugger, dead or alive)! And for the rat problem in my yard, thats our next plan of attack and Ray is already laid out the traps and we’re ready for business out there! I have a quarterly plan where Ray comes and treats everything, but if I need him before my next service, like an extra spider Nuke on the patio, he’s generally here within 24 hours! Now that’s top notch! And it’s included in your quarterly so no extra charge! I trust Ray to be here in and around my home if I have to leave before he’s finished, he’s great with my kids, my dog (who likes to attack Rays backpack or long broom thing that he cleans my eaves with). He’s an all around really cool guy and I highly recommend him for any of your pest control needs. Ray’s your man! Thanks Ray for being our «bug guy»!!!

So for the record I’m really happy with this company. Just yesterday my friend asked me if I knew anyone that handles pest control stuff and I was actually happy to give out the contact information.
So what makes my guy the best, why is he so good? To tell you the truth I’m not sure. All he really does is shows up on time and does his job. That’s all he does and that’s all I want. I don’t want the e-​mails, the price increases and the sales pitches that I use to get with the big companies. I love that my next door neighbor pays 40% more than me and her guy is in and out in like 10 minutes.
My guy is great, attention to detail, works with and around the kids trampoline, the dog beds and house. When he is in our house, the garage and back yard he has what I call care, custody, and control. The end results are simple, we are bug and pest free and most of all we are happy customers.
For the record I don’t even know the guy’s name but I really do recommend his company and services.

Want to know the worst four letter word I can think of? Rats. Mice comes in at a close second place.
As if my visit to my 87-​year old Mom’s house were a giant metaphor for her past 4 months, mere hours after my arrival one of her new round-​the-​clock caregivers drops this atom bomb: «Oh, and I think there’s a rat or mouse in here. I saw something when I was sitting in the living room…»
My first instinct was to cut bait and run. Did I really delete that Hoteltonight app? But the dutiful daughter in me knew that Mom is just as terrified of rodents and if this «situation» wasn’t addressed immediately there’d be nobody willing to stay in the house.
This is where both
and Unilocal come into play. I first searched on nextdoor to see if anyone had posted a similar problem and if so, to see who the locals were recommending. After gathering that data I consulted Unilocal to further validate the recommendations. I’m so glad I called on One Source.
First there’s this: Ray, the owner, answers the phone himself on my first call. He arranges to come over within the hour. He tells me what he can provide, what part those in the home need to play, and how much this will cost us ($ 250).
Then there’s this: Ray comes over. He looks at the droppings. Rats. 1– 3 of them he says. He will lay hidden traps (Mom cannot know of this problem. In fact, I tell her Ray is here for «spiders and bugs»). I’m practically vomiting as Ray places 2 traps in the room I sleep in.
And two days later this: I text Ray, «I’ve checked three traps so far today. We caught something. I can’t check any more. Please come». Ray is there within 30 minutes. Giant rat is now a giant dead rat. Ray places new traps. I leave on a plane that evening and the job of daily trap checking falls to the caregivers.
Nothing more has been caught. The rogue rat problem appears solved.
Ray scouted the house both inside and out and came to a likely answer for how the rat gained entrance. While there, I also bartered with him to deal with a spider/​cricket problem (hope you’re enjoying those vintage fishing poles, Ray). He doesn’t do termites but can give you a referral.
Could I have set my own rat traps? Sure but holy f*ck I am not doing that. For the price, Ray will come anytime in the next 30 days to deal with anything caught and to reset traps. He’ll also come once each week during that time to check the traps himself. And he’ll do it on the downlow so Mom won’t know what he’s actually there for.
After Ray’s first visit Mom — who’s not doing so well — had only this question «so he’s going to paint some rooms for us?». If he painted I’d probably hire him for that as well. Do you know how hard it is to find responsive service providers? Ray/​One Source made me believe it was easy. It is not.

Not all pest services are created equal since this one is above the rest!
My 83 year old mother-​in-​law had a roach problem where she can see the baby roaches crawling into her tea cup. My wife called 5 different pest control places and she said that Ray was the only one that would come out to check out the overall problem and give a proper quote. He did tell her how much it could be but just to be sure, he came out to see at no additional cost. The others either quote «an estimated» price on the phone & don’t care to come out or charge you to assess the problem & if you don’t use them then you lose the fee. Once Ray came to look at the roach problem for my mother in law, his quote was higher than expected, but my wife & mother in law picked him because he was professional, honest (he actually told them that with the extend of the problem, it may be better in the long run to tent the house — she has some termites too) and thorough. She had to clean out all the cabinets in the kitchen & the other infected rooms, but Ray meticulously treated every single drawer in that kitchen and elsewhere. This was what my mother-​in-​law needed. He came when he promised and also followed up with my wife to make sure that the roaches were taken care of as it should.
Don’t let the low number of reviews dissuade you from choosing Ray as your exterminator! My mother-in-law’s house is now roach free! Yeah! We will definitely use Ray again if we are ever in need of the service.

If I could give more stars I would. Ray was great. Thought I just had ants but he just kept seeing indications of different things and lots of spiders. He came the same day I called, no more ants or spiders. I’m having him back on a regular basis. Great guy, knows his bugs! Thanks Ray!

Ratman Ray! Best pest control service around. I was put in touch with Ray when dealing with a rat issue but since then have had cockroaches, subterranean termites and more. He is super knowledgable and helpful about all pest problems. He always makes an effort to come out to my house asap to assess the issue and help immediately. He offers suggestions for me to try on my own along with options he has reasonable fees for which is great. He always answers my calls, even at crazy hours:) He’s honest, punctual and an all around great guy!!! No need to look elsewhere! Thanks Ray. For always being there to help!

I had an emergency; bird mites infested the outside of my home… thousands of nearly microscopic parasites surrounded my 2 ½ year old, my dog and us. Ray was the only one who talked to me enough to know within seconds what I had. He asked… do you have a bird nest nearby because it sounds like you have bird mites? I did and when I got down and looked closely, they were out of control. Some came inside. Some bit my son.
Ray came out. He diligently inspected every single room and the entire outside area. He explained the root of the problem, gave an honest assessment and fair price. He told me he would not hurt the baby birds so he couldn’t treat around the nest. So he offered to return to treat again for free when the nest was removed. He also advised I get an electrician out to fix the light where the birds made a nest because having the light out made for a perfect nesting spot. He was THOROUGH.
But aside from professional, Ray was kind, patient, honest, realistic and courteous. He announced when he would come inside the house and waited until I gave the okay. He removed old wasp nests, no extra charge. I greatly appreciate his service and strongly recommend him.
Prior to my emergency, I researched every company, looked on BBB, Unilocal,google reviews, called and spoke with each company for quarterly treatment. I will now sign up with Ray for quarterly service. A+++++

Ray is all about customer service. He goes above and beyond his scope of work, he is professional and offers a very fair contract for pest control services. Ray has been treating the exterior of my house for quite some time. Last year I noticed some small bugs in my house. I called Ray and he was in the neighborhood and at my house within 5 minutes. He told me the source and didn’t charge for the visit. This week I saw a rat in my backyard. Ray was at my house the same morning. He made several trips to my house and told me that this service is within the scope of my contract and there was no charge. I am so pleased with Ray and his attentiveness and concern for my problem, I’m going to pay him anyway! By the way, he got the rat!

It started with fleas in our old house, then we moved nearly two years ago and realized we had a serious roach and ant problem. Ray came out and took care of the problem. He’s been keeping our home free of creepy crawlies ever since. Good prices, great service and a friendly smile!

Ray is amazing! Trustworthy, fair and professional… Ray does a wonderful job for both residential and commercial properties. He has servicing our home for almost 10 years. The whole family loves him and our son gets so excited when Mr. Ray comes to get rid of all the bugs. Would highly recommend. Competitive pricing with the «big guys”– but without the all the corporates stuff– no phone trees, transfers to other departments, etc. I once called Ray on a Sunday and he actually picked up his phone and talked to me about a carpenter bee issue we were having!!! He came out the next day to take a look and make sure there weren’t any other issues that needed to be taken care of. If you have any rodent/​bug issues or just want general maintenance done– Ray’s your dude. You wont be sorry.

Ray is the BEST!!! He’s been servicing my house since the beginning and has gotten rid of crickets, bees and RATS!!! Yikes! If there are ANY home invaders of the 4, 6, or 8 legged kind, Ray CAN and WILL make your house free of creepy crawlers!!! And the BEST part is he’s affordable for everyone!

LATE POST… Ray came out to my office, super nice guy. Worked out a plan for my individual needs. Destroyed the other companies quote I got without even showing him their numbers. Its been 4 weeks now and still no signs of any of those nasty pests coming back (not willing to admit which ones I had lol). I would 100% recommend him and his number is saved in my phone for any future problems… knock on wood!

My house and yard was getting taken over by spiders, roaches, and crickets so it was time to call an exterminator. My friend told me that he used this company for years and was extremely happy with their work. The owners name is Ray and he personally comes out to do the spraying. First he walked the property and looked at everything, then he cleaned all the spider webs and eggs away, then he sprayed the outside and the inside. Within a few hours I noticed a lot of dead bugs. I’m super satisfied! It was $ 125 for that day’s service and he will come out every 3 months to spray the outside for $ 85 each time after. Totally reasonable! I highly recommend this company!
