Business Owner

Josef Kremlacek is originally from the Czech Republic, where he learned the artistry of stone design. When he immigrated to the United States, he brought his knowledge and expertise to the Bay Area and formed JFK & Associates — Marble-​Granite-​Ceramic. He has worked in the stone industry since 1965 and has continually worked toward perfecting his craft.

The job of fitting tile in our bathroom was completed with detailed artistry by Cesar from JFK. We had decided to install glass tiling for our tub surround, not realizing that glass is a little trickier to work with than ceramic tile. Cesar paid such close attention to detail that even the tile along the tub top is curved to hug the front down-​curve of the tub. He was meticulous. Each tile along the floor in front of the tub had to be cut to fit the gentle curve of the tub wall. Josef was there daily to monitor the work. We are VERY pleased with the workmanship, the state our house was left in each day of the work, and the pricing, which was reasonable. I recommend these guys! They are trustworthy, a valuable trait.

No need to look any further. Joseph and his skilled craftsmen have worked on three houses for me over the past 15 years. He is a true artist and his work in amazing. His pricing is also VERY fair.
It is rare to find someone who can add real value at the design level, but also understands the importance of perfect installation. His craftsmen also live by the same creed and are polite, professional, and courteous.
I love working with Joseph and know he’ll be my only call the next time I need stone or tile work. I expect you’ll have the same experience.

We were very happy with the work done. He removed old tile in one bathroom and did an incredible job on the new tile installed there. In the master bath, he had to match marble tile (if you know about this, it is difficult). He did a great job on this. Additionally, I needed a lot of irregular shaped tiles (triangles with curves, etc.) He and his worker did a great job on this. Also, needed marble mounted on a wall that could pop-​out after being held in place with a magnet. Did a great job on that too.
Josef is a European craftsman. He has been installing, restoring, fabricating stone and ceramic tile for decades here in Novato.
The work is top notch. The prices are very fair.
He is in the Better Business Bureau for more background. I highly recommend him.
