Dr sheets is great! Twice I’ve had sinus infections and she’s been able to come to the house on the weekend, which has been a lifesaver (I am a busy working mom of 2 little ones). She’s fast, thorough, caring, and follows up the next day which I really appreciate!

Dr. Sheets just came to my rescue! I got off a 6-​hour flight in a strange city feeling miserable in the middle of the night, and she came to my hotel and diagnosed me in 20 – 30 minutes and even gave me the prescription antibiotics I needed. I honestly couldn’t believe that you can get medical care this professional and not have to make an appointment or anything, and it cost much less than I expected. Thanks so, so much, Dr. Sheets! You fixed my life! I wish there were more professionals like you in the world.

I finally heard back from Dr. Sheets – she contacted me via Unilocal four days later. Dr. Sheets has explained that she was very ill and in the ER when I reached out to her and she wasn’t able to update her voicemail and website to reflect her unavailability. That’s certainly understandable. I appreciate that Dr. Sheets reached out to me. I’m disappointed that it was four days later, but that may have been the soonest she was able to, and I’m especially disappointed that it was through Unilocal and not through the phone number or email I left. It leaves me wondering if I would have ever gotten a response but for leaving a poor review.

My wife developed a bad case of hives and needed treatment. I called Dr. Sheets and left a voice mail which was returned within 15 minutes. She had a couple of other appointments but arrived at the time she had given us. She was very professional, efficient and pleasant. As a fellow physician I was able to discuss the situation with her and she was very pragmatic and knowledgeable. I would strongly recommend.

Honestly, I have so much to say and don’t even know where to start:
1. Our health care system is f*&#ed up to a degree that is almost comical.
2. Everyone I know who has «health care insurance» has a very high deductible /​/​very onerous restrictions /​/​very limited benefits
3. There are times when you JUST NEED TO SEE A DOCTOR.
The idea of having a mobile doctor is pure genius and fills a much, much, much needed void left by the horrible, horrible clusterf*@#ck that we call a «health care system.»
If I lived in or near Oakland, I would call Dr. Sheets on a regular basis. Her prices are so reasonable you almost can’t believe it. And she’s amazing. Look at the other reviews. «incredibly helpful» and «angel from heaven».
I’m here to tell you that the concept of a reasonably priced, mobile doctor who comes to meet you at your home, workplace, hotel, etc. is brilliant. Trust me, this is the beginning of a revolution.
I had a health problem arise as I was heading to Oakland for a 1-​week stay on business. Found Dr. Sheets on Unilocal,stellar reviews, called her. She was perfectly on time, met me at my hotel room, absolutely professional, excellent medical care, and very nice personality. And I can’t believe how reasonable the price is.
Do you know how much of a pain it is to go to urgent care? Long wait, very expensive? Sucks. Use this company instead. I wish it existed in every single city in this country.
Mark my words, an idea whose time has come.

Dr Sheets showed up in 15 minutes at 4am. I would have had to drive myself to the ER and wait to be seen. Instead I had a caring and knowledgable doctor come to me. Well worth the money!

Dr. Sheets was incredibly helpful when my husband was seeking treatment for an eye infection. I submitted a request online around 8:30pm and she called me within 15 minutes. We arranged a time for her to visit our home — at midnight, since she was already headed to a 10pm appointment elsewhere.
She explained some possible options for treatment over the phone and was very personable and flexible. She arrived on time and was both friendly and professional. She gave him some relief for his eye and also provided medication, saving us a trip to the pharmacy.
The rate was very reasonable and some insurance providers will partially reimburse the fee. (The rates are also disclosed on her website.) My husband (who generally will do anything to avoid going to the hospital) really valued being able to get treatment in our living room. This is a great service and one we would definitely recommend!

Doctor Sheets is a godsend. That’s all there is to it.
Available at any hour without appointment, and for half the cost of the brick-​and-​mortar urgent care clinic I used to rely on. No waiting for an appointment, no driving, no waiting room. She’s very professional, but at the same time reassuringly friendly. Both times I’ve had to use her service she’s arrived exactly on time. (Imagine, a doctor starting an appointment on time! Incredible.)

Dr. Sheets is an angel from heaven. My wife had a kidney stone in the middle of the night. We called MD at Bedside. Dr. Sheets got back to us within 20 minutes, even though she was on her way back from a trip and only available by text at first. She helped us manage the medications right away, then called as soon as she was back in good cell coverage. After driving most of the night, she came to us first thing in the morning. She did a thorough examination and wrote the prescriptions my wife needed. She’s friendly, professional, helpful, and very clear in her communication.
If Dr. Sheets hadn’t been available, here’s what the scenario would have been – because it was after hours on a Saturday night, no urgent care facilities were open. We would have gone to Alta Bates ER. Because a kidney stone is not a high-​level emergency, we would have sat in the waiting room for hours while they treated people with trauma, heart attacks, lacerations, and so on. After hours, they would have given us cursory attention and the same medications.
Dr. Sheets is filling a much-​needed niche – the house call for urgent, but non-​emergency, medical conditions. Her prices are extremely reasonable and her follow-​up is exemplary. If I could give eight stars out of five, I would!

MD At Bedside provided very helpful, prompt medical attention when I was visiting Oakland from out of town, became sick (non-​communicable), and did not have time to go to an ER or urgent care clinic due to a tight meeting schedule. I was able to make an appointment and be seen at my downtown meeting office within an hour, and get the prescription I needed — all for $ 120. No waiting, better one-​on-​one attention than in most Dr offices, great bedside manner, and what I feel was excellent care and advice. Sure, I’ll have to submit for reimbursement from my insurance company, but even if they don’t pay, it’s still cheaper than the co-​pay on an ER visit, and WELL WORTH it to not have to wait for hours and hours and be exposed to other sick people’s germs! Highly recommended.

Dr. Sheets serves a valuable and much needed service — true ²⁴⁄₇ Urgent Care.
Last night (New Year’s Eve), I fell asleep with my contacts on watching Ryan Seacrest. When I awoke, I was able to remove 1 lens, yet I couldn’t find the other one. I tried for 1 hour and then was too sleepy so I napped for another hour or so. Woke up and tried again to find my lens in right eye, and nothing. My eye hurt, but I didn’t know if it was my lens causing that or all the fiddling with my eye. I didn’t want to go to the Emergency Room, as that would be costly and I didn’t believe my problem warranted going there. I kept searching for an Urgent Care facility and because it was New Year’s Day, none were open.
Then I found MD At Bedside on Unilocal and called Dr. Sheets. Thankfully she returned my call asap and came within a short time. She was extremely thorough, took her time, and very reasonable cost for a home visit. I highly recommend her to anyone needing care, especially when nothing is open.

Dr. Sheets is pretty much amazing.
I woke up on my last day of vacation in SF feeling AWFUL (can’t-get-out-of-bed-awful). It was before 6am, and I knew even my friends nearby wouldn’t be awake yet, so I did a quick search for urgent care in the area. I called two other (closer) house call doctors, and neither responded to my calls, despite being «open». Finally, I called Dr. Sheets and she responded and came over to my hotel right away!
Dr. Sheets is extremely professional, efficient, and responsive. She was able to diagnose me quickly and write up a prescription for me. Not only that, but she gave me some medicine to start off with before I went to the pharmacy. She followed up with me the next day to see how I was doing, and responded (quickly) to all of my follow-​up questions I texted her. What other doctor does that?
Finally, Dr. Sheets’ prices are extremely reasonable for a house call. The other doctors I tried to call would have charged me double for «weekend rates», which she did not. Amazing! An all around positive experience.
