Lamont Bros Design and Remodeling

Excellent work. Very professional. The clean up after the job was excellent and the job was done on time. I had an egress window placed plus floors done in a third bedroom and trim around the egress window. It looks great.

We’re so happy we chose Lamont Bros. for our deck rebuild. Joseph and David were personable, honest, and run a talented crew of skilled carpenters. They finished our deck on time and true to their estimate. We called them back to replace a window and to rebuild a fence that had been destroyed in an auto accident. We’ll be sure to use them again should we have any remodeling needs in the future.

Lamont Bros. did a great basement remodel for our family. Joseph was great to work with in the design and bid process. Once the project was rolling, David ran the crew and was great to work with. David was onsite everyday and communicated well with my wife and me. The project turned out even nicer than I expected. I will recommend the Lamont Bros. and will use them for future projects.

The design part with Joseph went smoothly. We were impressed and decided to use his company for the work. The bid and actual remodel was a nightmare. The original estimate did not include a whole wall of sapele cabinets. To cut cost, we had to go with generic white ones. The crew who performed the work were nice but VERY young and inexperienced (wish I had met them before I hired Lamont Bros). There was no supervision of the young crew and the work product showed. The general contractor, David (Joseph’s brother), did not have the same eye for detail or communication skills, and we only saw him onsite occasionally after we complain about the work product. What was supposed to be a 4 – 6 project turned out to be five months (and going). There were so many corner cutting and shoddy work. The company might be ok for very small projects, tile work, or design work, but I absolutely cannot recommend them if your project takes anything longer than a day.
