Throughout my life I have always been creating my environment, from landscaping to housing and the arts. I enjoy reflecting on and understanding how people relate to and interact with the environment and work to determine if I can contribute to their aesthetic and practical concerns and considerations. Additionally my interest in ‘how things work’ i.e. are put together, allow me to often apply unique and/​or practical solutions to challenging situations.

I’ve worked with David on several projects over the years– most recently on a fence and a bench bordering our deck.
David is very creative, has the eye of an artist, and brings a wide variety of considerations to the project, such as costs, unusual and creative use of materials and forseeing and avoiding problems in the future, such as preventing moisture accumulation. He takes responsibility to an extraordinary degree. Honest, diligent, trustworthy and a delight to have around. I can’t say enough good things.

David is amazing! He did the remodel on our guest bathroom. He’s a talented craftsman, has great ideas and design sensibility, and worked with us to make the project come in on time and under budget. The result was beautiful! He was meticulous, kept the worksite tidy, and was easy to communicate with. We’ve worked with many contractors in the past few years and David is by far the best! Highly recommended.

David Valente exceeded my expectations on a recent front yard project. We had a brick retaining wall that was crumbling and we asked if he could fix it. He was able to use the materials that we already had and restore the brick wall beautifully. We also found that he was more knowledgeable in plant selection and placement than the landscaper who was designing the area. He listened to our vision of the space and worked with us to create a space even better than we had imagined. I would highly recommend David for any building project.
