A professional home inspection is an impartial visual evaluation of your property. For builders, buyers, and sellers, inspecting your homes condition is critical when it comes to purchase, repair and maintenance decisions.

Within 24 hours after your inspection, you will receive a formal written report detailing the condition of the physical structure, electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, roofing, interior and exterior features (patios, fences, etc).

Bay Area Home Inspection is confident in providing the highest quality reporting system available, using the latest state-​of-​the-​art technology. You will find the report easy to read and understand. The Summary report details items we feel need immediate attention. The Full report details the condition of all systems within the property, including helpful tips for updating your home.

Provides great information and feedback. Knowledgable.
However, may miss some basic things that you will discover after moving in. Be aware that there are many exclusions in the home inspection, so don’t let your realtor waive the home warranty. Also, use a home inspector that does not have a relationship with your buyer’s agent. There is very little incentive for the home inspector to point out things that would make you ask for credits, price reductions, or corrective actions. Ask a lot of questions during the inspection.

Frank inspected two properties for us while we were looking for a new home, and I learned several new things each time! Frank is knowledgable, a great communicator, friendly, and clearly cares about what he does.
I really appreciated the time he took to examine every last thing, and his patience with us as he explained everything he did and taking the time to answer every last one of our questions! Finally, his report is full of photographs, easy to read, and leaving no detail out.

I have used Frank Casillas for inspections for clients for many years. He was a past president of a local chapter of an Association of Home Inspectors and has completed 1000s of inspections. He provides a thorough, color photo filled report that is easy to follow. He is very pragmatic about typical vs major repair and maintenance items and non alarmist. Frank is a great and reasonably priced resource for general home inspections!

First, he’s responsive and I can ususally get an appointment within a really quick time frame. He’s also super thorough, and available to clients before, during and after the inspection. I get my easy-​to-​read reports (with color photos) within 48 hours of the inspection date. Frank is knowlegeble and honest and I will continue to use him!
