I feel really surprised with all the 5 star reviews because of the horrible experience I’ve had here. I don’t think I would want to give even a 1 star rating to this place. It’s been 5 – 6 months since and it has just ruined my teeth.
Starting from the beginning, their x-​ray process is so painful. They expose you to the x-​rays at least 20 times from different angles. I’ve had the x-​ray taken before (I guess thrice) at other places and know how smooth and painless the process is. So I had cavities in all my wisdom teeth and the doctor had to do a filling. She gave me the anesthetic twice and since she was juggling between patients, she managed to be back late enough that the effects were already wearing off. So basically, first I got the pain from the needle and then of course from the drill because the anesthetic was no longer helpful. The work is so shoddy that I consulted 2 dentists after this and I got the same feedback that it was like the job done by interns at their college. Let me draw a comparison here. I got the previous cleaning and filling done from a doctor in my village in India and never experienced even the slightest discomfort.
I think this place is all about money and they don’t care about the quality of work. The doctor and her assistant will keep pulling your mouth from both ends like it’s got some infinitely stretchable superpowers and they’ll only stop once you start groaning in pain. The first time I got a cleaning done from the doctor, all my gums were bleeding so badly because it was a shoddy job done in 10 mins I guess, I was literally spitting blood and that was normal according to the doctor. I’ve had it done before (in my village, remember?) and needless to say, it was not painful at all.
I have been chewing from one side of the mouth ever since. Even though the doctor called me for a visit again when I told her about the discomfort, I swore that I’m never going back here for the torture. I had never had any sensitivity issues with my teeth ever, but guess what? Now I do and so much so that one side of my teeth is hypersensitive to cold and the other side to anything sour. Man I can go on and on about anything and everything about this place that I so regret for even having stepped into. I have trouble eating just about anything and I hate this place for that. I’m going to find myself a good dentist and get everything done again.

I like Dr. Saini and her receptionist a lot. I’ve been there several times and had my teeth taken care of. Now I can see my teeth and gum improving. I used to have a lot of cavities and sensitive issues with my teeth and after Dr. Saini’s drilling and filling job they are gone now. She even fixed the crack on my front tooth for free. I already gave it up but she strongly recommended it and after 10 minutes my front tooth looked like it never got a crack before! My husband and 3 year old son also goes to Dr. Saini and they both like her too.
The receptionist/​cashier (forgot her name) is very helpful and problem-​solving. Last year there was some treatment that Dr. Saini said she would waive the fee for us but my insurance company still charged me. I had to call in and eventually the receptionist helped me settle it. I appreciate they being honest with their clients and for that I’m going back again.

This dental office really is as good as it gets! Dr. Saini is outstanding, truly. She is gentle and thorough, knowledgeable and honest. She takes her time and really does a great job on every treatment she performs. My husband and I have been coming to her and her team for about 2 years, and every time we come in we leave there feeling impressed with her professionalism, technical ability, and kind personality. We’ve had some fillings done (boo!) and she made sure we were fully numb before starting, and none of us have experienced any problems with the fillings we’ve received. She has never tried to up-​sell us products or services, which we appreciate. Her office is clean, modern and well appointed. She really is a fabulous dentist and she has a great team working with her. Thank you Dr. Saini!

I LOVE coming here for my dental check-​ups. I discovered this place in 2009 and I’ve been coming here ever since even though I have to make the drive from Oakland.
Dr. Saini is good at what she does and she remembers everything that you tell her. She is efficient while being gentle and courteous. I never feel rushed whenever I come here nor do I feel like I wait an extraordinarily long time to get seen.
Julie — the receptionist — is also the best. I have a hectic schedule and she always finds the best times for me to come in. I’ve also had to reschedule a few times and she never complains! She’s so sweet and very patient!

Dr Saini and her team are the best. I am absolutely scared of going to the dentist. But Dr Saini is so patient with me and she is truly the best. She tries to give the best possible options. And i am very glad to have found her.

It’s been over 3 years since Dr. Saini started taking care of my and my family’s teeth. She and her staff (especially Julie) are very friendly and they care about you very much. I like that Dr. Saini is not rushing to other patients after taking care of you. Dr Saini is professional, careful and attentive.

I highly recommend Dr. Saini, Like many other people I don’t like to visit the dentist’s office even at the best of times, but its the friendly nature that makes it all that much better.
I’m very happy how much work she does in one sitting. I had plenty of filling that needed to be done on one side of the mouth, and instead of 1 or 2 we covered maybe 5 (yes my teeth where in an atrocious state). I was more tired of sitting in the chair for hour and a half then from the drilling, and honestly, less visits the better. Very pleased with her work!
How friendly she and her staff are is what pushes it to 5 for me. Nice courtesy reminders of when the appointments are. Dr. Saini herself being very understanding and caring about your dental hygiene. Overall making it a much better experience!

She’s the worst into she ruined my teeth she fixed something that didn’t need to be fixed and the main problem that I was having in my teeth she did not fix, The worst experience of my life at this time she is one of the worst dentist i’ve ever been to.

I hadn’t been to the dentist in over eight years and needed extensive help with my teeth. Dr. Saini was totally professional, made me comfortable as possible, and provided me information in an earnest, concerned manner which has really helped me begin to develop habits for long-​term care. She, Julie, and the rest of the staff are really great and I highly recommend them.

Pearl Shine Dental is about as close as I can get to wanting to be in a dentist’s office, (sadly to say, I do not have lucky teeth), due to their friendly staff and professional courtesy. Dr. Saini is very gentle, non-​judgemental, and truly wants the best for my dental hygiene. I have had great success getting closer to a healthy smile with Dr. Saini than I have with previous dentists and numerous dental procedures. She and her staff are so flexible with my benefits and budget that it eliminates the stress of worrying about beind able to afford such quality care.
I also appreciate Dr. Saini’s guidance for the right care, but also the way she allows me to stay in control of the decisions we make for my teeth. I have had many experiences where doctors will push for more expensive (and painful) operations that seemed more to suit their income than my comfort. Although Dr. Saini does not advise me to avoid necessary treatments just because they’re painful, she does make me feel as though I have a choice — which means everything to me when I visit a dentist. I walk out of her office feeling satisfied and comfortable with our dental plan (and its cost!).

I moved to the Bay Area several years ago and I had been on the search for a really good dentist. I found Pearl Shine Dental on a Unilocal review and I was SO relieved to have found them. Dr. Saini and her staff, including Julie who administers apptmts, etc, are so warm, friendly and professional. They make you feel at ease right away. If you have any fear of going to the dentist, this is the place to go to conquer that fear. Dr. Saini has taken the best care of my teeth. I have no more sensitivity and my teeth feel strong. I highly recommend them. They provide topnotch customer care!

I had been in the Bay Area for about a year when I began looking for a dentist. I did the usual of asking for referrals from colleagues and friends. None of the recommendations I received were close to where I live, so I decided to try and find a dentist on my own. I started the search on the website of my insurance provider. I narrowed my search to 3 dentists based on proximity to my home and educational background. Then I began to search the web for any information I could find on the doctors. This narrowed the list to 2 dentists, one of which was Dr. Saini. In the end, it was her USC background, another Unilocaler’s review, and a leap of faith that made me schedule my first appointment with her.
At the time of my first appt with Dr. Saini, I had not been to the dentist in YEARS! With not having dental coverage for so long and me not wanting to face all the work that my teeth needed, I just did not go to the dentist. After that first appt, I learned that I needed a root canal… oh Lord! I had the insurance coverage, so I had to get it done. First, Dr. Saini had to work to get my inflamed gums to heal. Then I had to have a deep cleaning, and finally… the root canal… YIKES! At the beginning of this process, Dr. Saini prescribed me blue «happy pills» to help me get my fear factor under control. Each visit, I would leave thinking that wasn’t bad at all. Eventually, I would not even need my «happy pills» anymore. I was really scared for the root canal because of what I heard from other people. But even the root canal was a breeze! Even my family could not believe how comfortable and at ease I was after having had a root canal… and it was NOT just because the drugs had not worn off. My root canal experience with Dr. Saini made me wonder what kinds of dentists my family and friends had been going to over the years!?! Nevertheless, after my root canal experience with Dr. Saini, I KNEW I had found the ONE.
I have been a patient of Dr. Saini for almost 4 years now. She is absolutely, hands down THE BEST DENTIST west of the Mississippi! She is amazingly skilled and talented with dentistry and so gentle and kind in her approach. As a result of her great work, I look forward to my check-​ups. Because of Dr. Saini, my teeth are in the best shape they have ever been in before. Dr. Saini has set the bar quite high for my next dentist should I ever move away from the Bay Area and find myself in search of another dentist… I dread the thought :-(. I’ve had a lot of work done by Dr. Saini for the past few years involving fillings for cavities, cleanings, and chipped teeth. Her excellent practice is complimented by her warm and open personality as well as her friendly staff. Reminders and setting appointments are extremely easy, and this practice makes fixing dental issues and moving forward onto your own agenda as painless as possible.
Perks: There is netflix for those extensive procedures that take upwards of an hour.
TL;DR I highly recommend this practice.

Super friendly staff! My appointment started early, which was a nice surprise. The equipment is all very new and up to date. Low radiation X-​rays and quiet, non-​threatening sounding dental hand tools. My kids and wife were also very impressed. Everybody there seemed very competent and honest. They didn’t push unnecessary work and gave me what I felt was a very objective opinion on my oral health. I have certainly found my new dentist!

I was looking for a good dentist and one of my neighbor recommended Dr. Harpreet Saini. After a visit, I realized she is a top-​notch dentist, wonderfully cheerful, professionally, painless, and efficient. She has an office equipped with most advanced equipment in upscale Pleasanton neighborhood. She goes out of way to explain treatment in details. You can watch large selection of movies, as well as Netflix while getting dental work done. She has equipment technologically most advanced. She does her best to minimize pain and make sure dental work is done 100% to your satisfaction. She is always available in case of any emergency any time of the day. She has wonderful staff.
I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending her to anyone
