dr. gupta is a very competent dentist. she is my alltime favorite and at
63 i have seen alot of dentists. her office is state of the art but more
important is her great attitude and knowledge. i am so impressed with her doing diligence without adding procedures that are not necessary. i dont
have dental coverage, so her no nonsense approach keeps having dental
work affordable. if funds are an issue, she has an option, ask her about it.
on top of it all she is very pleasant and always has the patients comfort
in mind. i only wish the healthcare industry were managed in the same way.

Over the weekend I started feeling some discomfort in one of my back teeth that by Monday evening had escalated to something must be done NOW pain. My fear of dentists is what lead me to neglect the tooth in the first place so trying to quickly choose a dentist I could trust in a new town was a frightening endeavor. I read many reviews for dentists in the Pleasanton area, but something kept bringing me back to Willow Family Dental and Dr. Gupta. I called the next morning and explained my situation and was able to get in right away for an evaluation. Dr. Gupta was very comforting and thorough in her explanation of my options to have the too far gone tooth removed-​even to the possibility of referring me to another doctor who could do it under anesthesia if I was too frightened. Something about Dr. Gupta’s knowledge, manner, and general willingness to help made me choose her to extract the tooth. She was able to get me in on Thursday for the procedure but immediately prescribed pain medication and antibiotics for the infection which really helped ease the pain while waiting. By the time I arrived at the office on Thursday I was very anxious. Again, Priscilla, at the front desk was kind and reassuring. I was taken back right at my appointment time and Dr. Gupta and her gentle assistant got to work. I was AMAZED at how quick and painless the procedure was! There was not one bit of discomfort!!! Like me, you might be scared of dentists; however, there is NO REASON to fear Dr. Gupta — she is AWESOME!

This is the best place groupon helped me to find! I live in SF but drive all the way to them for outstanding dental work and friendly helpful staff. They use newest equipment, especially I love their x-​ray machine — first time I didn’t feel uncomfortable having my x-​rays done! Also, prices are very affordable! I am so happy I found this place!

This place is amazing!!! I have a very hard time with going to the dentist and I was taken very good care of. My son and husband as well felt very happy with the friendly service… If we were not moving I would never leave this location. 100% best place ever…

Dr Gupta is amazing. I first went to see her for a tooth pain. I have been there numerous times since then and I really appreciate how much she seems to genuinely care about her patients. She is friendly and knowledgable and does everything she can to make her patients fee comfortable. The first visit led to a root canal and I had never had one before. She told me to call any time if I had any problems and she even gave me her cell phone number. I have been back for another root canal and crown and she did a fantastic job with everything. Her front desk staff is amazing. Her assistant leaves a lot to be desired for x-​rays and general assistance but Dr Gupta makes up for that. The office is clean and I was able to watch a movie while she completed work during a long dental appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Gupta for any dental needs.

I got a cleaning + x-​rays group on for this place and was skeptical despite the amazing reviews. I am glad I went for it. I was definitely amazed with my experience. There was no hard sale or upscale when I inquired about things such as whitening.
The staff was genuine and friendly. And the equipment was amazing. I rested comfortably in the chair as Dr. Gupta went one by one showing me each tooth via live feed. So tech forward.

Same old story. My irrational fear of the dentist is real, and while I’ll never love or sleep the night before I go to the dentist, Dr. Gupta has really made this experience as painless as humanly possible. Love the way she tells you step by step what she’s doing and really appreciate the Saturday appointments. Office is clean and updated and everyone who works there has been very friendly! Best part? Her office doesn’t even smell like the dentist!

Dr Gupta is awesome. For years I’ve had a badly fitted crown which my previous dentist (who I thought was pretty good) could not do anything about after several attempts by them to fix it. It meant I couldn’t chew hard on my left side. Dr Gupta fixed this in minutes. My kids love her, her staff are great and I paid much less than my previous dentist wanted for a new crown.

It’s simple. This is the best dental office I have ever been to. Several years ago I had a root canal gone bad and ever since then was TERRIFIED of the dentist so I avoided them like the plague. Then I came across Dr. Gupta during a search for a new dentist. My first appointment I had I was in tears the second I walked in the door just from the thought of having to be there. They listened to me and my concerns. Explained in detail what my treatment plan would be and were very flexible with payments. I will never need to look for another dentist ever again. I feel very comfortable every time I walk into their office now. THANK YOU DR. GUPTA. I will be recommending everyone I know to this office. I’ve been going here for a few years now and thanks to them my anxiety has lessened. I’m so thankful to them. And Irene at the front desk is so friendly and welcoming every visit. I actually look forward to my appointments now. They are truly the best.

I met Dr Gupta for the first time today, she really took her time to listen to my symptoms which included sore jaw and other non typical symptoms, she explained everything she saw going on in my mouth, went over X-​rays with me, options that I have for various treatments and costs, and answered all of my questions thoroughly. I really appreciated how much time they took with me, especially since I don’t have insurance at the moment. I really felt they cared about treating me and also made me feel comfortable.

Excellent service, I contacted this office initially because they were not only in my network but also have solid & thorough Unilocal reviews. From my initial contact on the phone to the same-​day service I received I was quite impressed with Dr. Gupta. I watched a show of my choice while getting work done, nice touch.

They have been amazing at making sure I understand what’s going on, What needs to happen and also letting me know whats the most important and needing to be done first. I don’t even live in Dublin anymore and I will commute out to see her for all of my dental needs.
I highly recommend anyone who is nervous about the dentist to see her.

I grew up with a dentist who whenever I was in pain would blame me. Saying I would not be in pain if I was better at flossing. I flossed, and flossed and still whenever I saw him it was painful. I was afraid of going to the dentist because of this. I avoided going to the dentist for 7 years!
Then I saw an Amazon Local ad for Dr. Gupta, I decided to go for it since she has so many amazing reviews from others who are afraid of the dentist like me.
I went in for the initial X-​rays and cleaning. To my surprise nothing hurt. I was worried her hygienist would be evil and numb my gums with piña colada tasting numb stuff. Turns out you don’t need to have your gums numb for a cleaning and Dr. Gupta is also the hygienist.
Dr. Gupta is so gentle, patient, and kind. She did not make me feel guilty about avoiding the dentist for long. And she explained and showed me what my teeth looked like and what she would like to work on first and why.
A month later ¹²⁄₁₉ I had my first 2 cavities filled. I got to watch TV (I chose Dr. Who) while she drilled away making sure I was pain free the entire time. I woke up this morning, my teeth feel great, like nothing happened the day before.
I love Dr. Gupta, and I’m so grateful for her and her staff making me feel so excited, that’s right EXCITED to go to the dentist.

PS-​I don’t have insurance. I pay cash. This place is very affordable. I don’t know how they do it. Maybe because they are just a staff of 3, but I had tears of joy when I realized I could afford them. Yes actual tears came out of my eye balls, full of joy!

Dr. Gupta really helped me out today. I have a severe needle phobia (that in 6 months of working with a psychiatrist I have not been able to overcome), and needed fillings. Dr. Gupta took her time to help me get as comfortable as possible, and pretty much pulled out all the stops to get me through it. I have to say that I’m not the perfect patient, what with all my freaking out, but she was so calm and gentle throughout the procedure.
The whole thing took exactly twice as long as it should have, but no one appeared fazed. I really appreciate how patient everyone was in the office, from her assistant to the receptionist.
I would highly recommend her if you are in need of a dentist in the area. Another major bonus: she’s open on Saturdays.

I picked Willow Family Dental from my Aetna Dental Insurance based on the recommendation from the insurance — and I was pleasantly surprised! First, the service rendered by Dr. Ruchira Gupta and her always helpful and welcoming staff is just fabulous! I was extremely hesitant about the whole idea of going to a dentist, but when I went for my first visit, I was diagnosed correctly, and explained of every step all the way of what my options were and how I could approach the problems that I had, and with help of Dr. Gupta, I am doing good now.
I have had 4 cleaning sessions, and every time, Irene from her office would remind me a day before, about my appointment. It is wonderful how they give attention to every patient, I have recommended all my friends to her clinic and would highly recommend Willow family dental!
