Gadget Fix

I had my iPhone 6 screen repaired here yesterday. They were very quick, and not unreasonably priced. I had a good experience while at the store, it was horrible speaking to them on the phone this morning. I have had some issues with the phone since I picked it up. I called to inquire about them, and almost immediately Will, the person I was speaking with said that they didn’t «intentionally» do anything to the phone and got very defensive. I wasn’t even accusing them of anything. I just wanted some help with a phone that was working when I brought it to them, except for the broken screen, and now was not. He was very rude, and condescending. The trouble shooting he was trying to get me to do over the phone was not even pertinent to the issue I am having. Only after getting upset did he offer for me to come in, so they could «try» to help me. This place came recommended to me, by a friend. I would not recommend these guys to anyone. I am very disappointed in the «after care» they provide their customers. It seems as long as they can get you fixed, get paid, and get you out of there… they are happy. They just don’t seem to care about customer service, or experience. It would have been $ 40 less to go to an apple store and have this fixed. I went to these guys because they were conveniently located, and came highly recommended from a friend. I will go directly to Apple from now on.

I brought in my iPhone 6s due to water damage and they actually fixed it! I honestly thought it was a long shot because it was in pretty bad shape but they did a great job. It was difficult waiting 2 days for my phone but I’m very thankful that they were able to repair it. The only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars is because when I went to pick up my phone I had an issue re activating it and the employee helping me was texting on his phone the entire time which came off as rude and made me feel like my business was not important or valued.

My son dropped his ipad and the glass screen shattered. Upon reading and investigating reviews I noticed this place’s reviews were very favorable. I brought it in and they gave me an estimate. I was very pleased with the prompt service. Upon receiving the ipad back initially I neglected to look it over at the shop, my son was so excited to have it back and it was late in the eve. The next day I noticed a slight chip in the corner of the glass. I called shop and left a msg and was promptly called back and told to bring in the ipad again. (I was kicking myself for not looking it over firsthand in the shop, lesson learned). I brought the ipad back in and the person that looked at it said they would eat the cost and fix it under warrenty. These guys are awesome. I had an iPhone 5c that’s been basically a brick for almost a year since the charging port crapped out. I attempted to change the port myself with no success and brought it to these guys in pieces. They told me they think they’d be able to fix it in a couple days. The next day they called me and said the phone was back on and I could pick it up the next day. That morning they called and said it was good to pick up, everything was in good working order and it even comes with a 6 month warranty which I didn’t even know about.
There’s a 35 dollar flat service fee so just keep that in mind, but that plus the cost of a new port is a small price to pay compared to getting a new 300 dollar phone which Apple suggested. Highly recommend these guys they get the job done fast and thoroughly.

I smashed my iPhone in my car door. It shattered the screen and bent the frame. The bend was so gnarly it made the touchscreen unusable (the bend was causing pressure to be applied all over the screen, registering sporadic touches). Although it was still under AppleCare, accidental damages weren’t covered, and I was told at the Apple Store it would start at $ 300 to fix. Then I went to the Verizon Store, hoping to get lucky with some discounted replacement, but my only option was to pay retail: $ 650.
I was ready to just trash it, downgrade to a basic phone/​basic plan, and wait 14mo for my contract to expire until I got a new phone. The guys at Verizon told me to check out Gadget Fix next door for a used smartphone, but when I went in, they said they could fix it for $ 150. It sounded way too good to be true. They assured me if the $ 150 repair wasn’t a full solution, I could choose to pay for whatever extra parts and labor would be required, or I could choose to back out and not pay anything (and get my phone back with its original parts). I thought, «sure why not?» and handed my phone over.
In less than 24 hours, I’m typing this review from my fixed iPhone. I’m so impressed. The screen is good as new, and my frame is bent back into shape. Thank you guys so much. I can’t believe how cheap this was compared to my other options.

If you need a phone or iPad fixed, these are the guys to go to. My iPad was not an easy fix but the techs at gadget fix did everything they could & the owner even called me personally (I didn’t get to talk to him but he left a message) it’s hard to find a stand up, honest business but working with them restored my faith. terrible over $ 100 to fix my PS3 do I went to gameplay in Vancouver which took a little longer but cost $ 85

I had my HTC One M7 run over by a car about a month ago, and completely shattered the lcd/​digitizer. I figured they would just tell me to buy a new phone, but I emailed them and sent them a picture of it. They said they would be able to fix the screen for $ 155, they would just have to wait for the parts. Some other parts were pretty dented on the front and I told them not to worry about it, but I brought the phone in after they called and waited a few more days for the repair. I came to pick it up and it looked BRAND NEW. I love my phone, it’s pretty much my baby and has all my info on it. They saved it and seriously made me SO HAPPY. It looks great and barely looks different than the factory front. THANKS GADGET FIXERS!

I took my iPad in to have my screen fixed because I had it fix at another establishment in Kelso Washington and they ruined it GADGETFIX WAS AWESOME they repaired my screen clean out glue use at the other place and connected my wifi component. The other business also said I would need a new back (not so) GADGETFIX did not need to replace it they were able to fix it correctly without trying to charge me for things I did not need. They had it done in less time than said and sealed the screen where the others did not. I will recommend them to my co-​worker who also has a cracked screen and I will take my iPad back to them if anything happens to it in the future. Again I can’t say enough how great they were.

It’s Spring Break for Washingtonians and the ol’ Xbox 360 decided to peter out on us. I dropped it off at GadgetFix and was initially told «$ 35 repair, ready in 3 – 5 days — maybe sooner,» which honestly sounded great to me. I couldn’t even get out of the parking lot when I got a call telling me it was a «simple fix, no charge, come on back for your console.» Fantastic customer service and a huge lifesaver!

I had my LG G2 fixed at this place, and I thought that I would be happy when I got the phone back and they had replaced the frame for the screen too… but now my mic doesn’t work when I make phone calls unless on speaker phone, and when I type the screen glitches out. When I brought the phone back the person at the desk was very rude and said that the mic has nothing to do with the screen. Also they of course couldn’t find any glitches. Clearly not willing to replace the damaged mic they had ruined, or the screen… even though they have a 60 day warranty and told they would when I called. Not helpful at all. Terrible customer service. Unwilling to fix their mistakes.

Went to gadget fix after a trip to the Verizon store. Verizon said my phone wouldn’t take a charge because a small piece was not visible. They wouldn’t fix it and the phone was I did not have insurance. End of story. I took my phone to gadget fix immediately after to see what I could do to get it repaired. I gave them my phone and they took it to the back. The worker there came back out in less than 5 minutes and said all it needed was a quick cleaning. They cleaned it free of charge and sent me in my way. My phone has started charging again and works great. They could have easily told me that I needed some excessive repairs but they were honest and took care of me. Great service and honesty. I’ll recommend them anytime.

Went to these guys today to get my iPhone 5S fixed that my one year old daughter had slobbered into so bad that it needed a new screen. These guys where awesome. Friendly, funny and pretty fast. I got my iPhone back in a few hours and Kush even gave me a cover for my phone cause I dropped it twice just standing there to pay! I think he could see I am accident prone.
I would diffidently recommend this place to anyone, they are great. They know what they are doing and do it fast. Thanks again Gadget Fix!

Best fixit store ever! Brought in a bunch of old ipod that either didn’t work or partially worked. and they fixxed my headphone jack on my working ipod for FREE! sorry it took me so long to write my review guys I’m a butthead! YOU GUYS ARE RADASS!

All I had to do was call to know that I’ll NEVER use their services. Rude, down right absolutely, 100% rude. Maybe if you drink the Apple flavored koolaid like every other basic user you’ll enjoy these people, mostly because you’re not even tech savvy enough to re-​platform your own device. However for me, this place is a joke. I barely got two words out of my mouth before I was cut off and told that they don’t work on the brand name I needed fixed, I suppose next time you’ll tell me you’ve never heard of Linux? If you’re part of the master race, save your money and time, these smug employees are arrogantly calling themselves «techs».

Cush, over at gadget fix helped me get my old Sim card resized when T-​Mobile next door was going to charge me $ 10. No, charge. Just helpful, friendly people. I’ll remember them if my new phone ever breaks.

This review is about two months late. But I can’t say anything but great things about this place. My brother recommend them to me, as his company has several guys that are hard on phones and they use Gadget Fix.
I went in with a iPhone 4s that had lost its backlight, making the screen useless. Spoke with Kush and he said have a seat and Joe (I think) will take a look at it. About 10 minutes later Kush told me a part had become loose and they remounted it. He handed it back to me, and said no charge! You can’t beat that!

They went above and beyond what was expected. The phone I dropped off was a paper weight. I seriously didn’t think they would be able to fix it. The phone was repaired with great craftsmanship.

I had a pretty positive experience. Bottom line is I had a broken iPhone 5 (my camera was not focusing). They got it fixed back good as new, and charged me what they quoted.
Some more detail:
— First time I stopped by, they suggested it could be hardware or software. To rule out software, they suggested I do a full phone reset. That was a hassle, but I’m glad they asked me to do that before I spent money on a potentially unneeded repair.
— A few weeks later, I went back for the repair. Unfortunately they were too busy and didn’t have time to get my phone in that day (a Saturday). This is why I took 1 star off — I think they need to have some sort of online appointment or check-​in. It isn’t convenient to come in just to find out that they can’t help you that day.
— I returned the next morning first thing (they open at 10AM on Sundays) and they gave me an estimate of $ 75 and a 2-​hour (12:00 noon) repair time. I came back 2 hours later, and my phone was fixed.
I took off the 1 star because I think they need an online appointment function. Also, I’m not really sure how their prices are — it seemed kinda high. I’d expect the service bench fee to be in the $ 30-​$ 50 range, and my part couldn’t have costed more then 10 bucks. But they were transparent about it and I just wanted it fixed without a lot of hassle.
