Specialties

We provide private and semi private lampworking (flameworking, torch working) lessons in both soft glass (soda-​lime) and borosilicate glasses emphasizing techniques in both solid working and glassblowing. We tailor our instruction to the student’s individual goals as well as existing skill levels, creating custom lesson plans to meet every budget and schedule.

In addition to classes we offer repairs, custom glass fabrication, and memorial pendants as well as other small glass and ash mementos.

In order to maintain maximum flexibility for the schedules of our customers we are open by appointment only.

Business Owner

Jessie Blackmer started this business as a natural extension of her fine art studio practice and extensive teaching experience. She has been working in glass since 1998 and has been teaching for 14 years in community arts centers and university settings. She is dedicated to using this studio to make glass more accessible as a tool for creative expression as well as pushing the boundaries of the material through the art and crafts produced.
