History
Established in 2003.
In 1996, a small group of friends came together to share our passion for the culinary ways of our home country, France. We knew the only way to bring true French ambiance stateside was to bake fresh bread and pastries everyday, and to offer food that was fresh and modern but still had more than a dash of French flavor. Soon after, we open La Provence Bakery & Bistro, in Lake Oswego, Oregon. By popular demand, and to accommodate a growing wholesale bakery, we opened a second shop on SE Division Street in Portland, Petite Provence Boulangerie & Patisserie. This location has a special glass door in the dining room so you can see the bakery at work. An opportunity arose to expand to The Dalles, Oregon, and in 2007, Petite Provence of the Gorge was opened for business. Since then, we have continued to expand and now offer restaurants across the Portland-Metro area.
