Anyone on the fence with considering breast augmentation should definitely go consult with Dr. Popowich at Portland Plastic Surgery Group. He’s an incredible surgeon. I’m only a few weeks post op and already the results are beautiful, scaring is almost invisible and recovery was as comfortable as one could hope for. He was always efficient, approachable and respectful during all our interactions– taking time to provide much needed reassurance and answer all the questions that naturally arise. Appointment/​payment options were flexible and the consult/​surgery locations were lovely (clean) — not to mention neat 3D scanning technology to get a sneak preview!
So thrilled with the overall experience and results.

I would HIGHLY recommend Dr. Popowich to anyone seeking any form of cosmetic surgery! I went in to his office after a year of researching and meeting different surgeons and finally decided on him to do my breast augmentation. My first consultation with him went perfect and he immediately made me feel comfortable and at ease. He listened to exactly what I wanted and did just that. I told him that I wanted to look as natural as possible for having a beast augmentation and the exact look I was going for, one month later everything I wanted became a reality. Prior to my surgery I went in one more time to make a final decision on sizing and placement and to cover any other questions I may have had. One of the things I loved most about him was that he talks to you like a human versus using medical terminology to break everything down, which I experienced with other surgeons I had met with. He covers everything you need to know for before, during, and after surgery and is available whenever for any questions you may have forgotten. I went in the day of my surgery perfectly calm and ready all thanks to him and his wonderful staff. It’s been four months since my surgery and I couldn’t in a million years be any happier! :) he did an amazing job and deserves five + stars!

Words cannot explain how amazing of a surgeon Yale Popwich is, he preformed a breast augmentation on me and has gave me a new confidence I never thought was possible. Every experience at the surgery center was warm, inviting and non intimidating but most importantly he transformed my breasts to what I feel is the picture of perfection!!! I would look no further and am confident he is the best surgeon around.

A truly excellent surgeon and compassionate person. Dr. Popowich performed my breast reduction in April 2014 and I could not be more thrilled with the results. From start to finish, the process was seamless. He and his office worked with my insurance company to get the surgery approved. I woke up from surgery feeling great and my neck and shoulder problems had already disappeared. My breasts also look great (G to C) and already the scarring is minimal. If it wasn’t illegal to post a picture I happily would so that others can see how detailed and meticulous his work is. The best compliment came from my general practitioner who said «that is the best work I’ve seen. Your surgeon is truly an artist.» I am moving out of state but will gladly fly back to Portland if I need any future work. I cannot recommend Dr. Popowich more to anyone considering him as a surgeon!

Dr. Popowich is a world-​class doctor. He was attentive, kind, beyond knowledgable and funny (love that!). His patience and meticulous work was first class. Having a doctor that is brilliant but humble is a rare trait. His staff was thoughtful and knew me by name when I first walked into the office. I highly recommend his services.

It’s hard to imagine that breast reconstruction following a mastectomy could be a pleasant experience, but with Dr. Popowich, it was. He’s an approachable, sensitive and capable surgeon with lots of experience. Dr. Popowich reconstructed my left breast to match my untouched right breast. The outcome was better than my original body match; I couldn’t be happier. He let me know what to expect each step of the way, listened to what I was looking for and deftly attended to concerns, such as a drainage issue I had early on following the mastectomy and an issue w/​tenderness prior to the final surgery, which he alleviated by removing some pesky scar tissue. Dr. Popowich is the capable friend you want in your corner. His staff are like welcoming extended family. Highly recommend.

Skill, compassion, straightforwardness, caring — Dr. Popowich exhibits all these traits. He performed a single-​step reconstruction following a bilateral mastectomy on me and the results are terrific. The scars are hardly visible. Dr. Popowich was straight with me on what to expect before and after surgery. He provides fantastic care.
