Been to this shop a handful of times while I’m living in Pullman. They have better coffee than Thomas hammer or the daily grind. Generally, I have received friendly service from the employees. It’s really nice to be able to grab a drink and sit outside of the weather is nice. They have 8oz, which is important to me since I don’t believe that coffee means the same thing as sugar. I got an 8oz vanilla latte several times and have been pretty pleased! Now that Roost coffee is open, I prefer their coffee quality over Café Moro, but I would recommend both shops to a friend. The 4 stars is because I recently had a traditional macchiato, and the shots were pulled very poorly(burned shots). The lattes I’ve receive, however, have been well crafted and not overly sweet with vanilla.

I haven’t been there in months, but it was a great little coffehouse. The owner is a chill guy, the atmosphere is good for hanging out with friends and getting energized with coffee before an outing. I only gave it four stars because a friend and I tried to online game there, and the internet wasn’t so great xD

My fiancé loved this place. It was his go-to spot during graduate school. Every time he went he never had any issues/complaints. I went a few times with him and the owner was always so kind. The place was very clean. They also seemed to have a lot going on during weekend evenings. If we are ever back in Pullman we will be visiting!

What’s so great about this café is the atmosphere, it’s cozy and warm and no one rushes you to finish your coffee and leave. The coffee is all organic and made to order, the only issue I have with it is that the service can be kind of slow because there aren’t a lot of people working there. Regardless of that this is one of my favorites coffee shops to go to on a rainy Pullman day.

First of all Tyson and his barista’s are awesome. Knows my drink without even asking. Rare for such amazing customer service anywhere! The drip coffee is only a $ 1 if I bring my own cup! The only place I go in the Moscow Pullman area.

I’ve never actually had a coffee here. I am not really a coffee fan. I am, however, a beer fan… And they do sell beer. They are completely dog friendly, as long as you have a well behaved dog. I enjoy getting a beer or two and sitting outside watching the world pass by. So my rating is on beer and ambiance. I know several people that have told me they serve good coffee and non-alcoholic things too, if that is what you are into.

I have been at Café Moro a couple of times and I really like everything about them! They’re really in to their customers. They know their customers and how to treat them. Keep the good job!

Takes absolutely forever to get your coffee. I’ve had two baristas on separate days take their sweet time taking simple orders and making the drinks. Only two drinks ahead of me and I was standing in line for nearly 20 minutes! As a former barista, I feel embarrassed for this place. Never again.

Friendly, warm, welcoming and smack in the middle of downtown! This review is really more about the staff and atmosphere, because I only popped in to grab a cold bottle of water on a 100 degree day; I haven’t tried their coffee or food. The one guy working at the counter was friendly, chill and served me and every other customer waiting with a smile. This place is definitely the kind of spot you can just go and hang out comfortably in; perfect for a writer, student, or somebody who just wants to hang around other people without necessarily being in a bar scene. One guy, who appeared to be a student, may have actually been sleeping on his laptop; no worries here at Café Moro. They have a little bookshelf in one corner selling used paperbacks and other ephemera. I think this is a cool touch! If you have some spare time and a buck, you can grab yourself something to read. Bonus points because they’re about a block from the public library too. I’m not actually a coffee drinker, but it doesn’t take an educated palate to know when you’re watching someone craft a good drink. It would appear that the staff knows what they’re doing here, and the enthusiastic smiles of customers eagerly taking their coffee bears that out. The food looked good too, and I’ll definitely be back when I want a low-key place to go hang or a nice cup of tea on a cold day.

Coffee is super good and the staff are always very helpful. Best pure coffee house in Pullman, and the atmosphere doesn’t get much better, rivals big city coffee shops.

I was very impressed with the service and the atmosphere at Café Moro. First, I appreciate how they allow dogs in the coffee shop, made my dog very happy to be able to sit inside and be warm rather than be out in the cold. The layout of the coffee shop is comfy, in the back area of the coffee shop there are tables where one can sit quietly to study or do some work. Next to that area, is a bigger room for which one can use for group meetings or gatherings, or study group, etc. I’ll keep this in mind when I plan to have a workshop in the near future. They serve beer, something unique in a coffee place and they also have happy hour, a delightful surprise – beer, appetizer and coffee… hmmmmm… sold! The cashier in the front, friendliest as ever, delivered excellent customer service(greet, smile, how can I help, met all the criteria and more…). She is very skillful with her job, a superb barista! The boyfriend and myself ordered Americano and a hot chocolate for me, I have yet to try their coffee… the aroma is exquisite and the taste is divine! I would recommend coming here not only to relax but to indulge yourself in deliciousness of Café Moro.

I was hoping CM would have kombucha but alas they didn’t.): They did, however, have chai tea and because they use Oregon Chai, I will forgive them for the lack of kombucha.(: There was plenty of room to get done and I was digging the ambiance until two old-timey men came and in and began talking loudly about how«young people» are completely misinformed, then liken them to «nazi youth.» As someone who is A. in the generation they were referring to and B. Jewish, this was obviously more than offensive. Can’t really blame the café itself as they have little control over the patrons, but it certainly did cut my visit here short.

I think I’m in love with café moro’s grilled cheese pesto sandwich. And their just standard generic Americano is amazing. Do they put cocaine in the coffee? Oh and free wifi. 5stars

Close your eyes and imagine a warmly lit room, intimate seating, and the silent murmur of people conversing behind you. Now imagine the faint, yet delicious smell of fresh coffee gracing your nose while you sit and work on that essay you’ve been meaning to write. Doesn’t the atmosphere help relieve the stress of that long over-due essay? Well, that’s what you should expect at Café Moro. Not only is the atmosphere one of the most relaxing atmospheres in all of Pullman, but the service is phenomenal. I’m normally quite good with names, but the three main workers not only knew my name, but my exact coffee order before I could figure out which table was my favorite. Café Moro has exceeded any expectations I’d ever had for a coffee shop and has absolutely ruined the rest for me. Why go anywhere else when Café Moro with its beautiful rooms and extremely affordable coffee is just down the road? Exactly. Go there and enjoy it. You won’t regret the decision.

Soy latte is delicious with unique latte art. Drinks are made right in front of you. The owner is chill, down to earth, and friendly. Beautiful Pullman art of the Palouse rolling hills can be found at this café. Spacious study rooms with plenty of tables to study at or catch up with friends. Cute place to be at!

Awesome little corner coffee shop. Recently came under new ownership and I’m liking the change! Pros: –lots of outlets –great espresso, drip, and beers/wine :D –soy/almond/rice milk substitutes are DIRTCHEAP –atmosphere. usually fairly quiet, great for studying. –meeting room. or for when you need all 5 textbooks and a laptop simultaneously. –soft toilet paper!(I swear this is a thing. Not your usual public, terribad toilet tissue) Cons: –parking limited(there are 2 free lots in the vicinity however, each about 2 blocks away) –sometimes in late morning/early afternoon it gets a wee bit chatty Overall, one of my favorite spots to hangout or study in Pullman. Tyson, the owner, is a wazzu grad and very nice. Visit if you’ve never been, 10⁄10 would recommend.
