The restaurant seemed very empty and dull. When my boyfriend and I ordered the waitress did not seem humble or positive. I asked if they had any sauces on the side and I asked her what they have and she told me «it’s an Asian restaurant, what do you expect.?» Did not have a great experience

If you want the best shrimp fried rice I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating, and want to enjoy a friendly, stylized atmosphere, you can sit down and eat. Or, you could order takeout and ten minutes later you show up and it’s hot and ready to go. I have nothing but good things to say, and I will be going there many more times before I leave pullman!

That first time must have been a fluke because we friggin love this place now. We get take out all the time and they’re so fast(5 to 10 mins at the max) and the food is always piping hot. The sticky rice is on point. We love the combination meals(which is enough for both of us) and the teriyaki chicken. Great service and great food. It’s a toss up for me between Golden Teriyaki and Emerald for Pullman’s best Chinese. My life’s mission, now, is to figure out that delicious teriyaki sauce… Yum!

Everything was fantastic! Every staff member had a big smile and great service. We all loved our food. The wait time was minimal even with a near full house.

I would tell you if you want better Asian food in town, this will be the only place. Otherwise you just get American Chinese food.

We came here as a party of seven on Fathers Weekend at WSU. The place was packed but the waitress was fast and very nice. We all ordered something different and each dish was simply delightful! I highly recommend Golden Teriyiaki.

My favorite Chinese cuisine in Pullman, WA everything I’ve had has been outstanding. The wait staff and owner are always friendly and happy to chat with customers. This is a great place for take out or dine in and fun for the whole family.

Of the trio of Golden Teriyaki, New Garden and Emerald’s, this is my favorite. Service is fast and the food is very good. I have often stopped by after a late night of work to pick up an order of sesame chicken. Lunch specials are also very reasonable and you will get served quickly. Highly recommend for Chinese food in Pullman.

Come taste real asian cuisine in this little restaurant who looks like a diner. The manager is a really nice man and comes from China/Vietnam. Little tip ask for the chinese menu if you want authentic cuisine because if not you’ll have the more«touristic» menu for westerners and then ask them their advice on what to choose. We had three dishes(3 people): jalapeño prawns, a beef stew and chicken in a sweet sauce. They bring you all the dishes with rice on the side and everyone gets to share a little bit of everything. The manager can re-serve rice if you don’t have enough also. The beef was surprisingly tasty, I recommend it very much as well as the jalapeño prawns but everything was good. The different flavors were mixing very well together, everything was eaten, no leftovers ! And we had our bellies filled up. A reliable and safe asian restaurant where I think everyone can find its own.

Great for vegetarian and vegans! We came here and the wonderfully nice server said we could make anything vegetarian. So my mom asked for eggplant and tofu in black bean sauce(two menu items put together with tofu instead of meat). It’s wonderful to have a place that’s willing to make anything you ask for. The server also offered us the Chinese menu(it has English on it) those dishes seemed a bit less Americanized. I had the sweet and sour chicken and vegetarian chow mien. Everything was great. The rest of the menu has a mix of Hawaiian BBQ(chicken katsu) and Chinese-American food. I definitely enjoyed my experience – but I don’t mind Americanized Chinese food at all! The server said we came at a slow time(the place was empty). Around 3:30pm on a Monday in summer. Service was great and the place has AC :)

Great portions and great food. One of the better places to get Chinese in Pullman. Atmosphere is chill and I’ve seen people take books/laptops in there to work on homework.

Enough food for 2, but lacked flavor. Husband had Kung pau chicken and I had orange chicken. Would only go back if nothing else was open.

I have lived in Pullman for about four years and have purchased«take out» from here numerous times. Tonight was the first time that I actually at in the restaurant. The service is great! The food is much better than Emerald and even better than Mandarin House. Also, the owner has a wonderful sense of humor… I will return.

My fellow Unilocalers were spot on with this place! I stayed in the car with the fur kids while hubby got me a menu to browse. The menu selection looks more authentic than most American Chinese restaurants around here. We got the Lemon Chicken, Mongolian Beef and House Chow Mein to go. They use breast meat in the Lemon Chicken, very flavorful and you can actually taste the lemon! Mongolian Beef was my favorite, lots of onion and green onions and the beef was tender. House Chow Mein and assorted veggies, chicken, beef, shrimp and bbq pork, also good! It took less than 5 mins for our food to be ready, we took it back to the hotel 10 mins away and it was still scorching hot! Definitely be one of our staples when we take the fur kid to WSU.

I have visited 3 Chinese restaurants in town, Emerald, New Garden and Golden Teriyaki and feel these 3 restaurants are somehow related. Very similar, almost identical foods, table settings, prices and even Internet settings are exactly same! Maybe these are owned by one Chinese tycoon???

I graduated in 09 and during my tenure at WSU the pre-yelp days I always looked forward to scrounging up 10 bucks to get a really solid meal with leftovers for the next day. My go to was the beef and broccoli or sweet and sour pork, and always loved it. Fast forward to today, my food standards have definitely changed and I am willing to spend significantly more on a decent meal but after taking my girlfriend to Pullman and enduring a bender at the bars we dragged our(hungover) butts here after I talked the place up the whole car ride to Pullman and had the wonton soup and beef and broccoli, not only is exactly as I remember it but it’s just as good as the«higher end» Chinese places I have been throughout my travels and my girlfriend, whom is quite critical of her food, loved it as well! Glad to see Cougs still get to enjoy a good cheap meal and a magical hangover cure!
