Jr Tree Service is a family owned business. We all take a vital roll in ensure you have a great experience with us. From answering the phones to clean up, every step is done with care. We will even answer the phones under emergency circumstances. We offer 24 hour emergency services for all of Queens. We respond very quickly to any emergency tree services. Be sure to call us.

Jeff came by the house and gave us a great estimate and wrote price on the card. He stick with quote he gave to us. We called him in a day to ask him to start.
We cut one dead tree and another tree that was hanging over to neighbor’s backyard. They arrived 15 mins early at 7AM and ring our bell to let us know they were ready to start. I saw one guy with all gear up climbed on tree to cut from all the way top to down. Because the tree is surround with wires so he cut very carefully. I asked Jeff (the owner) that i wanted to cut down two more small planet. He gave me very fair price. They started clean up right after their job. Very professional. We leave the house by 8AM and able to drop kids off to school without taking extra day off.

I am very happy with JR tree service. I first called them back in 2010 after a storm to cut down a backyard tree and do some pruning. Jeff and his crew showed up promptly and did an excellent job. So, fast forward to 2016, and once again, a winter storm destroyed my tall evergreens in the back yard. Called Jeff and he gave me a very reasonable price. His brother and crew showed up right on time and did an excellent job. Removed everything, clean and efficient and very professional and nice. I HIGHLY recommend them and will always hire them for my jobs. I just wish they could take care of all my backyard work.

Excellent job! Had a to have a tree removed from my yard after it was damaged beyond saving from a storm. Called them not knowing what to expect. They came quoted me, i hired them we scheduled it. They did everything i asked for and cleaned up after themselves as if they were never here. Very efficient, friendly and didn’t feel ripped off

Had seven trees and stumps removed by JRs Tree Service. They did an amazing job. Showed up on time, even in the rain. They worked quickly and professionally, cleaned up nicely too. They even did an extra old large stump, as a courtesy. A nice surprise. And they are very reasonably priced. I highly recommend Jeff and his crew. Using them again for larger tree.

After getting a few estimates, this company had by far the lowest price. The appointment was made in a short amount of time. They were on time and ready to work. I sat back while they cut down our huge oak tree in the backyard with the most care and professionalism. Each task was done precisely and efficiently. These guys are great! Jeff came out to give an estimate, after going over options with him, he gave us great advice and saved us money on pruning two trees as opposed to taking them down completely… While we needed one of our trees taken down, he could’ve easily taken our money and taking all the trees down. Very honest guy. Him and his is crew were very prompt and cleaned up after all work was done…

I read a review on this guy, called him to take down my back yard tree because I thought it was infested/​unhealthy. He examined it and told me the tree is perfectly fine, it is healthy but advice I prune it not cut it down. I think that is perfectly honest because he could have make a lot of me from just cutting it all down.

About ten years ago I needed some backyard trees to be cut down, so I called JR Tree Service. A guy named Jeff showed up, asked intelligent questions and quoted a fair price. I gave JR the job and they performed to my complete satisfaction. The crew was led by Jeff and to my limited tree knowledge, they did everything right. They were efficient, they had the right equipment, and they cleaned up unbelievably well.
About three years ago, Hurricane Sandy knocked down a large Norway maple at the front of my house. So I called the NYC Parks Dept and was told they would take care of removal. A few days later, I was startled to see JR Tree Service removing the tree. Obviously, JR does tree removal for NYC. In my eyes, this was a big job, yet once again, everything was done right.
A few weeks ago, I decided to have three driveway trees taken down. I called JR… Jeff showed up… I gave JR the job… and the ending was the same. This time, a ton of branches fell in my neighbor’s back yard and even she agrees that the cleanup was remarkable — she didn’t have to lift a finger.

We’ve used Jeff’s services for our big tree in the backyard twice in the last three months, and both experiences were great. He always called back right away, and he always showed up when he said he would. He explored the different scenarios with us, from straightforward pruning to full removal. The second time, we needed to go with complete removal of the tree, and his workers were efficient, polite and professional. They had to take our fence down to get the wood out, and they put everything back the way it was when they finished. We no longer have a tree that will require JR’s Tree Service, but we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to our neighbors who still do!
