Food was ok. Nothing special, service was terrible. Waited 15 minutes for water and the waitress never came to check on us only to give us the check. For the price, it was definitely not worth it. Would not recommend this place at all.

Great food, great service!
We stopped here after driving all day from Seattle. Read some good reviews, so decided to check it out. Fantastic food!
Our waitress was friendly and the order came very quickly.
Do yourself a favor and get the huevos dish under «all day breakfast».

Best Mexican food in Redding! You can always expect great food and friendly service. The enchilada are amazing and you can’t beat the carna asada plate. I love how fast they are as well! Great place highly recommend.

Wirklich authentisches mexikanisches Essen! Wir waren positiv überrascht, gut dass wir den Empfehlungen Folge geleistet haben! Als Amuse-​gueule wurde eine Tomaten Salsa mit Chips gereicht, diese war unglaublich gut und mit frischem Koriander gewürzt. Die Hauptgerichte jeweils Steak mariniert mit Bohnenmus und Salat oder Steak in Burritos mit Reis und Bohnenmus, sehr schmackhaft und reichlich! Dazu 4 Bier alles für 47 USD inkl. Taxe aber ohne Trinkgeld!

Great beef taco, good chile relleno. Super burrito with chicken tasted good but chicken had an unusual color.
Good sized portions. Rice and beans cooked well. Overall the food was tasty. But I was adding Tapatio to food that I would not normally season.

Great service, and yummy food. The Jamaica was pretty tasty, but more on the lemony side than how they make them in DF. The fish tacos were crunchy and coated with semi-​spicy mayonnaise that made my day. If I wasn’t going to Maxwell’s next door, I would eat here any day.

Great nachos. More authentic then most places as they don’t cover them in melted cheese. $ 11 and a huge portion! I am not a huge fan of most their menu as it is bland but enjoy the friendly service & Will be back for steak nachos.

I sent a friend of mine here to bless her with an authentic Mexican meal. She really knows her M food. I called Jesse and she was so accommodating (I was calling from out of state!) she bent over backwards to give my friend a wonderful experience. The food; chips, rice, beans are all home made. Thank you La Cabana for your service and for providing an awesome experience! I give you 5 stars!

This is one of those places you come for the people and the food. Oh, and the margaritas!
My mom and I were staying at the hotel in the same parking lot while on a road trip. We got in late one night and decided to try it out. The staff is all family. They were really nice and told us about some local things going on that day.

This is the only Mexican I was able to try in my short time in Redding but the menu is extensive with lots of variety. I wasn’t overblown by my meal, I can’t coat this with sour cream friends. I found it a little too heavy and just OK. I also ordered the margarita thinking it might be made to order but its from a margarita machine and I could only handle two or three sips of it. I didn’t bother sending it back… I just didn’t feel there was much connection with our server. We were just seated, ordered and had to track down our waitress when we needed her for something (which was not much, just once to ask for lime). We let fairly quickly. 3 stars is being nice and 2 I feel wouldn’t be fair. So you sort it out.

This is my go to restaurant in Redding anytime I’m in the mood for Mexican food. The salsa is as good as any I’ve ever tried and they make it from scratch daily.
I had my usual of Chili Verde. Man alive is it delicious. Served with killer re-​fried beans. Every thing I have tried here is off the wall delicious.
The wait staff is on their game, I never have to wave them down for a water refill or more salsa or anything else.
YOU HAVE GOT TO GO!!!

Really delicious, we had the Carne Asada and fish tacos based on reviews and the reviews were right. Also, the house hot sauce really is that good. The food’s worth all the stars, but the service is really why I’m giving five stars…
We came in later on a Saturday evening with our three very cranky, road weary little kids in tow who were seriously misbehaving in ways I could never even make up. They were totally deranged. We considered just leaving cash in the table and running away without our food out of embarrassment. Our waitress was beyond lovely. She explained that she had small children too. She brought them crayons and treats. She spoke sweetly to them. She repeatedly told us not to worry about it. She wrote down fun places to take them. She got our food out to us quickly. She was wonderful and she didn’t have to be.

Decent Mexican restaurant.
Service was fast but I felt the server was a little stressed out.
We ordered a corona light but then noticed they had a sign about their awesome margaritas so we changed the order. they were okay… More like a slurpy it came out of one of those slurpy machines.
I ordered a burrito wet and she asked if I wanted rice and beans but I thought she meant did I want them like a combination platter not like in my burrito, because of course I want rice and beans in my burrito…
So I received a chicken burrito with mainly chicken… oh well it was still good.
My fiancé ordered the fish tacos, you can tell they use a cheap kind of fish… not great just decent.
