Description

Specialties

Our entire menu is based off of Jalisco, Mexico’s specialties. These include what is call «street tacos”(in short a taco made with two soft corn tortillas, your choice of meat, onion, cilantro, and salsa), burritos (Super burrito in particular is the most popular), enchiladas and tortas (sandwich made Latino style).

History

Established in 2006.

Wow years have passed since my mothers cooking have been served to the people of Redding. This small business started for one reason only; which, in fact, was to keep the memory of her alive. Recipes are normally passed down from generation of family members to the next. What we did was make the people of Redding our familia.

Meet the Business Owner

Luis D.

Business Owner

This is his daughter speaking, for he is much too humble to even speak of himself. He came from a town with only 5,000 people people living in it (that is the current number who knows how many there were then). Like any immigrant, he came to the U. S to build his big dream. He first went to Chicago and built the credibility of being diligent and hard worker there. Then moved around looking for a perfect place to settle down and make his dream. That is where Redding came and, well, here we are. He pretends to be like any person and does not boast about his achievements of building a family and running a restaurant. He could still be in Chicago being that top wanted employee and not stressing over the lack of cinnamon there was in the Horchata the other day. He decided he liked being his own boss and rather enjoyed seeing the satisfied faces of people taking a bite out of his mother’s food. There is really nothing else I can say, other than I am proud to be called his daughter.
