I hate to say this as a former convict, but I’ve always noticed that this particular Starbucks is guilty of one major thing: consistent customer satisfaction. I have a tendency to get out of my motor vehicle and walk inside to order a caffeinated beverage because drive-thru lines are too trendy. Whenever I approach the counter, I’m always greeted by a friendly employee who has no problem putting in my request — a tall coffee. No need to get all fancy and use them French words like«grande», «venti», and«mocha.» Nope, just serve me up a tall cup and I’m good to go. It’s terrific. It doesn’t take more than a minute before I’m holding a cup of much needed java during the day. On top of that, I get free refills with my Starbucks gold membership. Without fail, I just go up to the cashier and kindly ask for a refill, and the baristas are more than happy to oblige. They’ll even indulge me in pointless, idle banter while I wait for a quick refill to complete, which is an experience one would miss out on if sitting around in drive-thru. It’s refreshing, actually. Just like the new cup of coffee they serve on the second attempt. The employees do noticeably work hard in order to fill so many orders at once. Sometimes, I just want to politely encourage them: «Don’t worry about the impatient working professional in the SUV who won’t be satisfied without an iced caffé latte with 2 pumps of caramel, 1 pump of vanilla, extra shot of expresso, half soy, half coconut milk, whip cream on the bottom, and an extra cup of ice on the side with 3 straws. No no, pay no heed to their ungrateful attitude while they deal with such „trying“ first world problems. You guys should know that you’ve done a great service already! Thank you so much!» This Starbucks is wonderful, and so is the staff who makes the delicious coffee.

I hate to say this as a former barista, but I am always having problems with this particular store. Drive thru always takes forever, they don’t even speak with you while you’re waiting for your items. They always shut the window door as soon as you get your change. I order the same thing, every single day and it’s really not that hard to make. Iced quad espresso with 2 white mocha, 1 toffee nut with soy. Shots are 80% always burned(even when I ask to save the shots) and the syrup is always stuck at the bottom of the cup. so now I have to say«stirred» and«please don’t burn the shots» whenever I order my drink. I never thought I would become the annoying needy customer, but here I am. I would go to the other stores here in Redding, but this one is on my way to work. They need to be barista certified again from my experience.

Every morning I wake up with one thought in my mind: Iced Chai Latte. I live it, breathe it, drink it every day. It’s the juice that gets me through this crazy thing called life. The Iced Chai is hands down the best every time I go. The magical tastiness that goes into my mouth after just one sip out of that green straw is mind-blowing. MIND-BLOWING. The green looking mermaid lady on the cup just looks at me like she knows whats up. No matter what the size,(even though let’s be real VENTI is the best), it always does the trick. Never once have I had to say«Um, I didn’t order that», «Or wait, this is supposed to be cold.» because this crew, just like the mermaid lady, KNOWSWHATSUP. Their friendly voices echoing Gooooooood Mooooorning Welcome to Starbucks is the perfect invitation to ask for my favorite drink: «1 Iced Chai Latte, please!» So, THANKYOU Starbucks for the hospitality, THANKYOU for the efficiency and love that goes into my Iced Chai’s. I feel it.

This is the slowest Starbucks that I have ever been to. They concentrated on drive thru customers while leaving the lobby full of people. Extremely disappointed in this location. I never have felt the need to post a bad review before, but this needs to be brought to attention.

Quick and friendly staff, great location. Atmosphere is ruined by transients and addicts in coffee house charging their Obama phones.

I come here almost every morning. They always get my order right but unfortunately by noon they are always out of grilled cheese sandwiches.

Not a very friendly Starbucks, I asked questions and the lady acted like it was the end of the world to answer them.

This is the only Starbucks I go to, besides the one over by Holiday Market! Consistent and friendly!

Went through the drive thru. No «hi,» no «thank you,» no acknowledgment whatsoever. He just took my money, handed me my drink, and shut the window. Don’t pay $ 5 for a cup of coffee to be treated like you’re an inconvenience. Go to Dutch Bros.

I’ll admit, that we don’t drink Starbucks on a regular basis but we took the kids in for a treat — our youngest son ordered a drink and when he tasted it, it wasn’t really what he wanted. The manager was walking in as our son was taking his first drink — he could obviously tell our son didn’t like it. He asked what our son was wanting so we told him«something that tastes like a thin mint cookie» he rambled off a list of ingredients and had his worker make him another drink, On the house! That’s pretty stand up in my opinion! When we are looking for a treat, we will go back!

Whatever you do, don’t go to the Barnes & Noble one, that women in there is a certified _witch! Asked for a cup of water & said«No»! Offered to pay a dollar & said«No»! Bad attitude!!! Just go up the street to the«Real» Starbucks, they’re much nicer!

This is my favorite Starbucks in Redding. It’s always full of people; so if you’re looking for the quite, quaint coffeehouse feel this isn’t the place. The staff are very friendly and make great drinks.

Service: Love the staff here. Most of them are friendly and welcoming. They are a little busier and service is slow at times. It depends on the employees. Quality:Pretty good consistency with the beverages. Not amazing, like I’m going to come back every day and cry because it’s too good. But pretty decent.(just being honest) Seating:I enjoy sitting outside when it’s cooler out. This location is pretty busy. It is located right in the middle of town and close to the mall and several other big retail stores. I think the trick is to find the quiet times in the day and sneak in then to snag a spot. Cleanliness:Always acceptable. I don’t think I’ve had any bad experiences including garbage/dirty tables etc. They keep it brand here which is great. You can’t go wrong with Starbucks. :) {They have a drive through at this location if your running to/from work}

We stopped in Redding on our way to Seattle and back recently. I’d suggest locating this Starbuck’s on map or GPS — it’s worth the little extra time off the freeway. Very friendly workers, yummy coffee drinks — and — clean restrooms! Note: It’s near Barnes & Noble and Home Depot but tucked away in the back.

Fairly typical Starbucks, but I want to know who these people are who have apparently set up a permanent residence there. Usually younger types with Mac’s and bibles. Actual overheard conversation. One hipster; «Yeah man, Jesus, dude.» Other hipster; «Yeah man, ya know?» Coffee houses used to be for adults.
